Most of the people loyal to the PDP in the south west looks unto Makinde as their point of direction. Brotherly affection means that where he stands, they will stand. As Makinde makes moves to dissociate himself from the camp of Atiku, the generality of supporters of PDP in the region will turn their backs on PDP as a party, but will they vote for a Tinubu? No.

Most people who are supporting PDP in the south west are people who hated the overbearing nature of Tinubu. So voting Tinubu is a no no to them. They will rather throw their support on another strong contender whom the angry Wike camp aligns with, and there is no time for reconciliation, all these crisis in PDP is going to benefit Labour Party and Peter Obi, with Yusuf Baba Datti Ahmed.
