This is very very bad. The Federal Government need to review and increase the minimum wage by 3 folds, set up a very robust social welfare programme that will touch the lives of every citizen and set up a very robust health insurance policy for all Nigerians.

Make healthy insurance coverage mandatory for all citizens of Nigeria just as they did for the BVN and the Tax ID. All citizens MUST have a health insurance coverage. Whether public or private, all citizens MUST have one. Design the policy in such a way that it will be affordable (especially for the public health insurance), friendly ( this means that a man who has a health insurance, can cover his unemployed wife, children and ageing parents. Although he may be required to pay more for that to happen), and flexible.

Lastly, the Government (both the Federal and State Government) should take over all forms of public transportation away from the hands of private individuals, especially the intra state transport. Private individuals as we have it presently in Nigeria shouldn't have any business running the public transport. It's because private individuals are ones running the public transport that's why transportation is expensive in the country. Once Government takes over public transport, the cost of transport will come down drastically to the point that it'll become very affordable for everyone.

If the Federal Government can achieve all these, cost of living will no longer be expensive and living in Nigeria will be sweeter than what it is as at today. And everyone will feel the good governance in their lives.

Alot of the jobs would be outsourced to contract staff.
Anyway, this is a welcome development. Our wealthy men and women should imitate what Dangote is doing for economy. Innoson motors have the capacity to generate up 10,000 jobs.
Obi Cubana, although he assembles keke napped, he should go into Okada assembling and even diversify into electric okada. These industries would create massive job opportunities for Nigerians.
