Good day all, Please does anybody have a clue what is happening when there's an administrative processing on one's application? |
fairheart:I sent you an email to your Gmail account. I will be grateful if you check and reply back. Thanks. |
fairheart:Supposing I publish an advert on a National Newspaper disowning my parents stating these reasons, and then attach it along with my application to show the V.O that I do not have anything to do with my parents because I don't want their actions to affect me my chances of getting an education in America. Do you think it will sell? Do you think it will make the V.O judge my case for I am, and not my parents? |
fairheart:Thank you very much. I have sent you a DM to your Gmail. I will be grateful if you respond back. |
LagosismyHome:Actually my reason of stating that I don't know their status is because throughout this year, ever since I got married to my wife, my parents cut contact and relationship with me. They were never in support of the woman I married, thus that's why I have only done intro, and court marriage. Secondly, before they decided not to return back to Nigeria, my Uncle who's a citizen have agreed to file for them a green card. I don't know what status I will call them considering the fact that I have not been in communication with them for a while now, and I don't know how things are going for them there. Do you think this genuine reason is enough for the V.O? This is the only reason I have. |
Hello all, Please I have submitted my DS-160 form, booked for an appointment which will be on the 5th of December, and I will be attending Touro College New York City. I have some few questions that are quite disturbing me and I see them as issues that may affect my chances, that's why I want to discuss here with anybody here that is willing give me sound advises. My parents are old and have retired in the US with my Uncle who is citizen, but my parents don't have papers and are not working there. I want to know if this can affect my chances of getting a student visa? I am married but with no Child yet. In my application I indicated that my parents are in US but I don't their status. Is this also ok? Thank you very much. |
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) World Markets and Trade Report has said Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari is importing more rice than during previous administrations. Recently, Buhari himself made boasted when he said to British Prime Minister, Theresa May on April 16, 2018 as follows: “We have cut rice importation by about 90%, made lots of savings of foreign exchange, and generated employment. People had rushed to the cities to get oil money, at the expense of farming. But luckily, they are now going back to the farms. Even professionals are going back to the land. We are making steady progress on the road to food security.” This claim was also made by the minister of agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who on May 2, 2018 said as follows: “Unemployment in Thailand was one of the lowest in the world, 1.2 per cent, it has gone up to four per cent because seven giant rice mills have shut down because Nigeria’s import has fallen by 95 per cent on rice alone”. On several occasions, the Buhari administration has bragged that their biggest achievement is reducing Nigeria’s dependence on foreign rice. Putting lies to the Presidential claims, Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation said: “However, recently released data from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) World Markets and Trade Report have proven these claims by President Muhammadu Buhari and his government to be false.” It said, “According to the World Markets and Trade Report of the USDA, which is a public document, Nigeria imported three million metric tonnes of rice in 2018, which is 400,000 metric tonnes more than the quantity of the product imported in 2017. It does not end there. “The report shows that there has actually been a steep drop in commercial rice production from its 2015 peak under the previous Peoples Democratic Party administration. According to the report “Nigeria had consistently milled 3,780,000 metric tonnes annually – a drop from 3,941,000 metric tonnes recorded in 2015.” The Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation therefore wishes to appeal to President Buhari and his government to be truthful to the Nigerian public, rather than claim progress they have not made, because no matter how far and fast falsehood has travelled, it must eventually be overtaken by the truth. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will always be honest and transparent with the Nigerian people as he carries all citizens along in his mission to Get Nigeria Working Again. http://authorityngr.com/2018/11/07/us-nigeria-has-imported-3million-mt-of-rice-in-2018/ |
Lastly, can someone use a fixed deposit account as his proof of funds? |
Freeman59:Thanks. The sponsor's name isn't quoted on my i-20. It was only written family fund. |
Hello house, Please can someone use a different bank statement for visa interview from the one that was used to gain admission to a University? Thank you. |
I believe every intelligent person understood what Osita Chidoka was saying. Of course PDP didn't start the Nigerian movie industry. But the PDP government helped grew the industry exponentially to what it is now. By creating the enabling environment, and policies, technology, and funding, the industry grew to the point whereby it now employs up to 1 million Nigerians, and generates up to $7bn annually. It was also during the evolution of our local movie industry, under the PDP government, that the name Nollywood was coined. This was what Osita Chidoka meant when he said PDP created Nollywood. |
This seems to me like diabetes which he has neglected, and then resulted to this. I don't think someone did him this. It's most likely diabetes eating his leg. |
Rytefish:The school's are private Universities, and I don't know how to push for funding. About the statement of account, that reminds me, the SOA in getting the admission is not going to be the SOA I plan to use for the interview. Do you think it's ok, or do it may cause problem for me? Of course the SOA covers the tuition and accommodation. |
fairheart:Thanks man, The two Universities are Touro College and University System, New York City, and National University, San Diego CA. I have actually chosen Touro College because I feel it's a better College than National University. My Uncle assisted me in paying for my SEVIS fee last two days through money order. Unfortunately I am yet to get any US Homeland security confirming, and mailing me my receipt. How does it go please? How do I get my receipt because I haven't heard from them? |
Hello all, Please I have a question that's begging for answers. I want to go for a Master's program during the spring admission in the U.S. I applied to 5 Universities, I got admission into 2 of the Universities, while 3 denied me admission. The 2 Universities I got admission into are private Universities with no funding. I want to ask, is it possible for someone to get an f-1 visa with a form i-20 from a private University, even after being denied admission from other reputable Universities? The issue of sevis fee, my Uncle in the US paid the fee via money order. I just want to know how it goes like how long do I have to wait before I get the receipt so that I can apply for Visa? Thank you. |
*worries over oil, agric revenues *raises panel to probe Abuja earth tremors By Chesa Chesa As anxiety builds up towards the 2019 general elections, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday directed the Attorney-General Of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, to forward three bills on electoral reforms to the a National Assembly to enhance quick passage into law. The bills are Constitution Alteration BIll, (2018); Electoral Act amendment BIll (2018); Electoral Offences Commission BIll (2018). Briefing State House correspondents on the development after the FEC meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa, Malami said the President remained committed to strengthening the electoral process in the country. The Minister recalled that this informed the setting up of the Ken Nnamani Electoral Reforms Committee, whose report, among others have given rise to the bills as well as the need to have permanent institutions to drive the reforms. He explained that the administration intends to entrench accountability in the conduct of the elections and political parties affairs; ensure speedy resolution of pre-election matters and election disputes; impose stiffer penalties on electoral offenders.; as well as enhance the independence of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) such that it is not subject to the directives or control of any authority. The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma, briefed newsmen on the state of the economy during the year’s second quarter, disclosing that government is worried about dwindling performance and revenues from of the oil and agriculture sectors. He said this was despite overall economic growth of 1.5 percent, including 2.05 percent growth recorded by the non-oil sector. According to Udoma: “The economy grew by 1.5 percent in the second quarter but what is encouraging to Council is that non-oil sector has continued to grow. The non-oil sector grew by 2.05 percent and we are very encouraged by this. In fact this is consistent with the economic recovery and growth plan objectives. “However council was a bit concerned about agriculture as well as crude oil, so we intend to intensify efforts in agriculture which has been affected by some of the insecurity in some parts of the country and some of the clashes which are now being contained. “So, we expect agriculture to pick up again. We expect agriculture to go back to the three percent which we have been experiencing before. Then in terms of crude oil production, we are going to intensify work to get oil production back to over two million barrels a day.” Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello, announced that FEC approved the setting up a ministerial committee to investigate last week’s earth tremors in Mpape, Jabi, Gwarinpa, and Maitama districts of Abuja, with a view to monitoring the situation and ascertaining the causes and possible solutions. The four-member committee will comprise of the Ministries of Science and Technology; Works and Housing; Mines and Solid Minerals Development; and the FCT. He said the suspension of rock blasting and mining activities in the affected areas following the incidents, remains in force; while the Ministry of Works conducts structural test of buildings around the areas to ensure their integrity had not been compromised. The suspension will be reviewed after the Committee submits its preliminary or comprehensive report, said the Minister who however, did not reveal the timeline for the submission of the report. Nonetheless, Bello pointed out that the tremors were mild without loss of lives and damage to property; and assured residents that there is no cause for concern, especially as experts have determined that Abuja does not fall within geological zone prone to tremors or earthquakes. http://authorityngr.com/2018/09/12/fec-approves-bills-to-set-up-electoral-offences-commission-others/

CapitoneMax:Thank you for your reply. The school was asking me for my SEVIS ID in order for them to process my form I-20. That's what got me confused. |
Hello house, What's a sevis, and how I go about getting a sevis I.D? My school is asking for it in order to mail me my form I-20. Thank you. |
Baawaa:All this you just said is media trial. If you have any evidence against Saraki that he has a killer squad, by all means, publish the evidence on one of the National dailies. Better yet, submit the evidence to the Police so that they may take him to court. For now, your points are baseless. As for now, the world knows the truth about Buhari and APC that their anti-corruption fight is a scam. |
I don't believe everybody in that crowd are APC supporters. |
At least it's very clear to every Tom, Dick and Harry that Saraki and R-Apc will dump APC. This intimidation won't deter them. Rather, I see it as a source of motivation for them to quit the party ASAP. |
GuyfawkesAB:That's not vote buying. That's like stomach infrastructure, because money was shared before the election. Apc did the same thing by giving out free fuel to Ekiti indigenes in some part of Ekiti which nobody is complaining about. Aside the bribery and vote buying perpetrated by APC on the day of election, the result was still doctored to give Fayemi the lead.
|
spako4:That's not vote buying. |
Another evidence to proof that the final result of the Ekiti State election was doctored to favor APC. Even INEC themselves have accepted and admitted the illegalities and the Apc party in the election. Except PDP doesn't want to take this case to court which I am urging them to do, their are raw facts and evidence to indict APC of electoral malpractices.
|
This was the final statistics of how Ekiti people casted their votes on the INEC system before it was transferred to paper and announced.
|
comradewanle:If you have any proof that PDP bought votes, why don't you post the video here. |

Truckpusher:I know there will be one foolish person, that will display his folly here on this thread. Please go and sense back where ever you kept it. |
SamuelAnyawu:Saraki too is a force. He's young, he's brilliant, he's got good leadership skills. He has also has good experience with governance. |
