Please what can I do ooh.
12 weeks have passed and I am yet to receive notification that the embassy is done with my verification.
The lawyer came to visit since November 4.
Is there anything, I can do to confirm what is happening.

You can send a message to the lawyer to ask what exactly is delaying the verification. Some Nigerian Universities are difficult to handle, thus this sometimes delays the verification process. So, if you had struck a good rapport with the lawyer, I'm sure he would tell you what is delaying the process. He's a Nigerian just like you are, I don't think he's a bad person. I'm sure he will give you a hint as to the reason for the delay.

Question: is it compulsory to legalize & verify primary school certificate? I'm intend going for masters

Please link to the Whatsapp group

It is not compulsory. I would recommend you don't waste your money doing that kind of legalization at all.

ChiomaMC:
Please my school sent my transcript to a school here in Nigeria that I wanted to do my masters in years back, but the school didn't give me admission. So I went to the school and took the transcript. Now can I use this for my Austrian application? Is it authentic? Will it be accepted for legalisation? Or I need a new one altogether?

It will be accepted. Before you submit your transcript for legalization, the Austrian embassy would want to know if WAEC has authenticated your transcript before they conduct their verification and legalization. So, just take it along with you and do your authentication first, but make sure it is still neat which I believe is the most important thing.

Osas14:
Hi Guys, i am new here, pls can i apply for school in Austria with my student copy transcript

Yes, you can. However, it is advisable to get your transcript and certificate legalized. Some schools in Austria won't give you your admission letter till they see your legalized transcript and cert. In some other schools, admission is so competitive that the edge you may have over other students would be your legalized documents. So you should get them legalized before applying, if possible.

There is nothing bad in jakpa just make sure you do your research very well and probably get 2-3 jobs processed over their b4 traveling . And I think that it makes no sense to jakpa because everyone are doing it, if you can make up to 10-20 M in Nigeria within a year I don't think the jakpa is worth it all you need to do is to invest more on your biz because only a minute of the migrants can save up to 10M within a year while working abroad.
You hardly see a well to do Igbo or aboki biz men jakpa , they would rather go for holiday or some biz trip

I agree with you, and I also understand that lady's perception. So, the thing is if you're doing well in Nigeria, don't jakpa. Don't even think of it because it's not worth it. These foreign countries don't give a shit about you, even on top of your own money. Their system is designed to make life easy for their people, and not for you who is coming from a third-world country.

Well sometimes people wouldn't understand until they travel out and see for themselves.

Most Nigerians don't like to help one another in foreign lands. In fact, if they see an opportunity to rip you off your small hard-earned money, they will quickly do so without hesitation.

It is what I see every day in the country where I live. It's so terrible.

That girl's nose is big, let's tell ourselves the truth.

It is also good that she herself knows that she has a big nose. She should go for a surgery so that they can give her a perfect nose. If I were her, I would not rest till I get a nose surgery.

Imagine she has a pointed nose, she will be looking very pretty.

Can someone be denied a visa even after his Residence Permit has been approved? Also, is there a WhatsApp group for Austria aspiring students? If there is, I'll be happy to join.

Is it a sure thing that the moment your residence permit have been approved and you apply for Visa type D, the Visa application will be approved?

They should venture into the development of Battle Tanks and ammunitions. I believe they can have the competency to venture into this area of Research and Development.

phrandy006:
please, is it possible to get admission into any Austrian universities before doing the legalization at the Austrian Embassy? Although, i have authenticated my documents at the MOE&MOFA.

It is possible to get admission into some specific Austrian Universities before doing your legalization.

Funds in naira yes.

Check the OEAd website to get a better understanding of what you need (all the information is there)

Thanks a lot for your response. However, is it also compulsory that I submit a German Certificate on the A1 level?

Hello Everyone,

I want to find out what the Austrian Embassy accept as Proof of Fund. I mean do they accept funds kept in a local account in Nigeria? How long can the funds be in my account before I can present them to the Embassy? Do I need to legalize the bank statement from any of these our local banks in Nigeria?

Please wise person with experience on this subject should kindly assist with a response to my questions. Thank you.

Hi, how does one get student accommodation in Austria? Most especially in a city like Vienna. Can anyone care to explain how? Thank you.

Creeza:
verify only what they requested for.

In this case, only my degree certificate and transcript. What about other types of documents that may be required for verification? I am married, and I hope to relocate with my family.

Hello all, please I need some advice.

I have an admission to study in Austria, and I want to do my verification. The school that gave me admission said that I should legalize my degree certificate and transcript, so my question is, should I submit my waec certificate for verification and legalization? Or should I don't submit the waec certificate because the school doesn't require it and I didn't even use it to get admission for a Master's program.

Please guys with experience on this what do you think?

Secondly, Trump and Putin had a very good working relationship with each other. Trump wouldn't have dragged the US and NATO into this proxy war against Russia. I don't think he would have done that.

Besides, prior to their last election when he lost. I know there was a report that was circulating back then that one of Biden's son had a business interest with Ukraine.

greenermodels:
Trump never had the mindset of a meddlesome USA getting involved in wars and matters that doesn't warrant their involvement. The Russian invasion of Ukraine would have happened earlier if Hilary Clinton won, remember that it was under Obama Russia occupied parts of Ukraine due to American meddlesomeness in the politics of the country.

It's now I see what Donald Trump was trying to avoid.

greenermodels:
Donald Trump wanted to pull USA out of NATO, he wouldn't have led Ukraine to war if he was still the president, he believes in America first and never understood American taxpayers money should be spent defending Europe when the Europeans working together can defend themselves through a NATO without the USA as a member but as an ally.

Good point 👍. I wish he could see your post

why not correct it in your passport through Nigeria Immigration Service.

Yes this is a good answer which I have actually taught about several times now. The thing is I have applied for several Visa with these passport, and I have been captured several times with this passport. I am worried that even if I correct this at the immigration office, it may not make any difference because my biometric has been captured by several embassies with my current details.

Please correct me if I am wrong on this analysis.

Hello all,

Please I need an advise to this question.

My wife is in Germany, she works there and has her papers. We want to start the application for me to join her in Germany, however I am kind of worried over a certain issue with my passport.

The D.O.B on my passport is not my correct age, and I want to know if this may affect my chances of getting a visa if she applies for a spousal visa that will enable me join her in Germany.

Please has anybody have this experience before?

My greatest lesson from this Election is that vote does not count in Nigeria. I don't think I will ever waste my time voting again in this country

This election was definitely rigged.

Rubyjade:
Avoid office politics at all costs."
I DISAGREE - that advice will kill your career.
You need to play office politics to succeed ❗❗

In 2015, a senior leader taught me how to 'play' the game when I was transferred to a leadership job in a new country.

- He told me who to befriend in the corporate hierarchy.
- He took me through their individual agendas.
- He gave me the best approach for each person.

When I played the game, my career skyrocketed
When I didn’t play it, it cost me my career ❌

Here are 4 ways to ‘play the game’.

1️⃣ Understand the culture and hierarchy.

Ignorance is NOT bliss. If you want to be recognised or need support for your projects, you need to know who the decision-makers are and get clear on their agenda.

2️⃣ Demonstrate your value.

By working hard and helping others, you’ll earn respect. Speak up in meetings, share ideas and make everyone feel included - the corporate game can be cutthroat - don't be seen as docile.

3️⃣ Learn soft skills.

Hard skills are trained and measurable. Soft skills are intangible but will help you understand, empathise and connect with people on deeper levels. If you need coaching on this, invest in it!

4️⃣ Spread positive energy.

If you make people feel good and ooze positivity, people will want you on their team and you'll win more opportunities. Avoid being the pessimist. Offer solutions, don't just highlight problems.

Office politics is like a game of chess ♟️

Play it well and you win. Ignore it and you lose.

In my opinion, having the right attitude is one of the keys to success.

If someones' got talent, but don't have the right attitude, that person is bound to fail in a professional space. But if someone's got talent and has the right attitude, the person is bound to succeed.

Even with the right attitude alone, you can survive and possibly succeed.

So, like I said earlier on, attitude is a key to success.

I advised Urchins yesterday to stay away with Obi visiting Jos.

That 1 million Jos votes might just be 1.5 million after all

Obi will sweep Plateau State.

The Twin Thieves won’t see a combined 10% votes in Plateau State.

Don't be too quick to conclude. Rallies are usually not true reflections of the voting pattern in a particular region.

A certain percentage of crowds most often time are usually bought in all political rallies and protest.

Is she the one who is contesting for the seat of the Presidency?
