Teenuh: Good evening everyone.
Please I would like to ask if Toyota Prius(Hybrid) between 2010 -2014 is a good car for personal use. I tend to see it used as taxis and not for personal use. Is it a good car to own? Ps: purchasing a used one. If yes, what should I look out for? I would appreciate your input as well @Oga lexus The health of the hybrid system.......... This should be your ultimate concern........ It's a very good car........ If a vehicle is synonymous with taxi service, it signifies two things (ultimate reliability and cost of ownership)...... |

wonlasewonimi: Congrats bro. I still have more years to do daddy uber. So, you didn't pay for driving lessons? Where did you get the time and most importantly, the patience? When I considered the £35 per hour, my wife and I had to hatch a masterplan......... I bought a Honda jazz, insured it (plus added Collingwood L insurance)...... Took her on intensive lessons, when time permitted (considering our work schedules + her university lectures), we just had to make it fit...... We still have the Honda Jazz, so her siblings would resume their lessons, within a few months etc etc ...... We paid an instructor 6 lessons (to smoothen all the rough edges)...... Anything can be achieved with sacrifice, good planning and dedication........😀😁 |

Zimzee: @Lexusgs430, please kindly explain in details 🙏, for more understanding. What's the difference? Please throw more light. The one Aviva is offering is actually a life insurance policy. Even if the product aviva is offering is a life insurance policy, it's only tied to the mortgage final figure........ One can easily get a cheaper/better insurance package, that would payout over £250,000........ |
Travel › Re: Living In The UK: Property,Mortgage And Related by Lexusgs430: 12:52pm On Apr 09, 2024 |
Zimzee: Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of finalizing a mortgage protection policy and would appreciate some insights and advice from the community.
My mortgage broker has recommended a policy from Aviva, which covers the specific amount needed to protect my mortgage. The monthly premium for this policy is £20.78 for £135,000 over 22years. While this seems reasonable, I have come across other policies offering similar coverage at lower monthly premiums (e.g., Royal London offering £166,500 coverage over 32 years for £16.09 per month) for someone I know.
I understand that insurance premiums can vary based on individual factors such as age, health, and specific coverage needs. However, I am unsure whether I should proceed with the Aviva policy or insist on exploring other options to potentially lower the monthly cost.
My main concern is striking a balance between affordability and comprehensive coverage. Given that my broker assures me that the Aviva policy is the most cost-effective for my needs, I am seeking advice on whether I should accept this recommendation or continue to pursue alternatives with lower premiums.
Has anyone else faced a similar decision? Is it generally advisable to go with the policy recommended by the broker, even if other seemingly cheaper options are available?
Thank you in advance for your help! Please gurus in the house You don't need this policy...... You would get more value from an income protection insurance or life insurance policy.......... |
