Good Afternoon Nairaland engineers and everyone. I have this LG v50 that I got from AliExpress sometime last year. I didn't use it for more than 2 weeks before it died. I was using a car charger to charge because of the light situation in my area that time. The car charger was shaking and while I was adjusting it, the phone rebooted to the LG logo. After which some pixels showed on the screen and it went off then. Never came up since then. The pixels that showed looked like the ones you would see on tv when playing CD (Compact Disc) on your DVD. When the CD is cracking. Those were the exact pixels I saw.

I suspect that the charger must have fried the panel (Motherboard) hence it's refusal to turn on.

I want to know if the motherboard replacement won't die again if I change it. I mean if it is advisable to get a replacement on AliExpress.

Should I go ahead and get a replacement since I barely used the phone for 2 weeks? Or I should get another phone?

I think we are in the same boat. I last used mine last year I have been trying to repair it. A Russian I met online asked to change the motherboard. I am thinking if it is worth the stress or I just get a new one.

It has bootloader issue though, this is the only reason why I want to sell it.
I stay at calabar and haven't gotten any one able to unroot it properly.

Did you open dispute for this case? If yes, review your request to partial refund. If you must go for full refund and return, then be ready to wait and spend for the return but, personally, it doesn't worth it.

To your numbered post:
1. Maybe seller will have to pay custom duty if shipped with EMS. NIPOST is cheap but I don't know if it's trackable but if I were you, I'll stick with EMS (not cheap but trackable).

3. Of course, you must reset to out-of-the-box state and send all accessories found inside along.

Why do you guys file dispute for return and refund,
When you can just do refund only,
To return items to China might be costly,and in most cases takes too much time.
Get a estimated cost of repair,file for a refund only option and seek partial amount,that way you do not need to deal with the stress if returning the item.

Yes it does I just noticed it. I experimented this recently. I came on first page recently after being on the 9th Xbee007 can confirm this. I tried to edit my gig with small tweak I am now sitting on the 4th page which I know will change for good soon.

You need to update your gig description and tag till you push your gig to at least page 3. You can look into sellers that consistently rank on first page but has poor, little or no review(s). Certainly, what brought them to that position is their tag and gig description. You can copy theirs and make minor changes, do this while you simultaneously search to find the position of your gig, preferably in incognito mode on your phone.

Also, stay online. Open your app and keep refreshing every 20-30 minutes. You can also invest in reviews.
