ChristineC: Amad should drop to the bench for next game. he was absolutely terrible. refused to take on Diouf who is clearly very clumsy. disappointing from him honestly. I mentioned my concerns about him a week ago. Several peeps here said he’ll come good. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 |

He kukuma give Szobo what he wants by denying the goal and brandishing him a red card. But in the actual sense he didn’t stop the goal |

eph12: Thinking about it now, I realize refs do overlook some fouls if there is an advantage. The same could have been applied here. Maybe because LFC players were protesting seriously and VAR had to be applied. If VAR wasn't applied, the ref could have left the goal and ignore the fouls, but with VAR, they have to go by what the rule says. Fortunately, City were already winning Imagine making that horrid decision when City were a goal down. That officiating was terrible. |

TrebleChamp: Sesko doesn't do himself any justice, see that Bruno assist he wasted. The team winning games is the goal so Carrick can stick with his winning team, i just hope other Managers are not taking note and preparing better against us knowing Carrick will always start same first eleven... It is bound to get more difficult as coaches get familiar with and figure out Carrick’s coaching patterns. That’s why it’s important to have different styles within his current setup. That way, opponents can’t predict what we’ll do on the pitch. The good thing is that I’ve seen some variations in the last 4 games. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best. |

LordAdam16: mbeumo is also great at the sleek direct football he favors
sesko does build up well, but he's not heads and shoulders above mbeumo
still i think carrick should rest mbeumo two weeks off, keep him on the bench for 20-minute cameos if necessary -Lord He’s going to get at least 10 days of rest after we play West Ham in midweek. That’s enough. We should be fielding our strongest side every game week. |

Jamiuokolaa: Amorim's rigid approach even before the AFCON gave a clear hint that we were always gonna struggle significantly during that tourney.
Struggling at home vs Wolves - one of the worst PL sides in history and 10man Everton, then attempting to justify it shows how disgusting y'all defeatist mentality really is.
*Sneezes*
*Tueh*
We had the resources to grind out results but in stereotypical fashion, you have lept in defence of your demi god - the one that has failed miserably!
Too bad!
Your propensity to needlessly bump into conversations without even reading properly for context is quite appalling tbh
•The squad is good enough to achieve more than what was initially projected by your fellow Amoruse.xuals all the name of managing expectations
•The defeatist mentality hasnt and wouldnt help us.
Thats the crux of the matter here
With una constant gaslighting last season, You and your fellow Amorusexu.als deserve every bit of stick you get here.
Y'all shamelessly came up with all sorts of ridiculous excuses to back your demi god.
When we then proceed to reference some of the unintelligible takes we've been reading in the last couple of months, Y'all get defensive and start crying like the ninnies that you are!
You even get luck say Spambot is in overdrive - body for tell una. LooL. See long epistles ontop trivial issue. The only thing in your head now is amoriswxval lol. Like I recommended earlier. See a therapist. |

Jamiuokolaa: Exactly, that was why I praised Amorim earlier for retaining Bruno, an attacking weapon of mass destruction, in a CM pivot during the AFCON
It was a massive tactical move that yielded the desired results Bruno got injured during AFCON and his absence was glaring. Coupled with the absence of Mbeumo and Amad, it’s no wonder our performances dropped during that period.
Show me anywhere on anyone on these pages who has an contrary opinion to this… Just one please 🙏🏿So why are you throwing tantrums because someone said they won’t be carried away until we buy more players? Y'all are the emotional sissies - the ones that have failed to acknowledge that y'all anointed manager was a failure You need to move on from Amorim. He’s clearly given you loads of PTSD. Maybe therapy can help you. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 8:47am On Feb 08 |
TrebleChamp: Your observation is accurate, most expecially the bolded. Reason i wanted Carrick to make a change to the starting team by moving Mbeumo to the left and starting Sesko (who didn't help himself with that silly header) cos Mbeumo is not effective as a striker and has struggles in the role in all 4 games under Carrick. Yes he has scored goals but maybe Sesko would have scored more if he start, just maybe... It’s easy to understand why Carrick starts Mbeumo over Sesko. Even though he’s not a natural striker, Mbeumo takes his chances. He’s very clinical. Sesko sometimes kills your morale with his misses. Remember the reverse Tottenham fixture? Sesko missed another glaring chance by doing like sugomu and even got injured in the process. Untill he has that killer mentality consistently, Carrick might keep starting him from the bench— unless injuries force his hand. |

Jamiuokolaa: Oga no need for the IF, WHEN, WHILE statements - this is not a software programming thread
The current squad should definitely be doing better and we hope that our good run of form continues and we atleast qualify for CL football.
This idea of "we need to be losing so that the club can spend", literally sums up that defeatist mentality Amorim has implanted in the minds of y'all Everything is not about Amorim. Carrick will also struggle if he losses Amad, Mbeumo and Bruno at the same time. We are winning and we love it. But to keep winning, especially next season when we’ll be in Europe, we need to reinforce the squad. The point is simple enough and shouldn’t attract this much emotion. |
