Later they would be abused by the people's saying that so-and-so has been mortgaged for a camel load of food. That would cause us great disgrace, but we will mortgage our arms to you." Muhammad bin Maslama and his companion promised Kab that Muhammad would return to him. He came to Kab at night along with Kab's foster brother, Abu Na'ila. Kab invited them to come into his fort, and then he went down to them. His wife asked him, "Where are you going at this time?" Kab replied, "None but Muhammad bin Maslama and my (foster) brother Abu Na'ila have come." His wife said, "I hear a voice as if dropping blood is from him, Ka'b said.They are none but my brother Muhammad bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila. A generous man should respond to a call at night even if invited to be killed." Muhammad bin Maslama went with two men. (Some narrators mention the men as 'Abu bin Jabr. Al Harith bin Aus and Abbad bin Bishr). So Muhammad bin Maslama went in together with two men, and sail to them, "When Ka'b comes, I will touch his hair and smell it, and when you see that I have got hold of his head, strip him. I will let you smell his head." Kab bin Al-Ashraf came down to them wrapped in his clothes, and diffusing perfume. Muhammad bin Maslama said. I have never smelt a better scent than this. Ka'b replied. "I have got the best 'Arab women who know how to use the high class of perfume." Muhammad bin Maslama requested Ka'b "Will you allow me to smell your head?" Ka'b said, "Yes." Muhammad smelt it and made his companions smell it as well. Then he requested Ka'b again, "Will you let me (smell your head)?" Ka'b said, "Yes." When Muhammad got a strong hold of him, he said (to his companions), "Get at him!" So they killed him and went to the Prophet and informed him. (Abu Rafi) was killed after Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf."

If you don't support it or partially support it, then you will be a victim. The Quran perfectly state that Jihade is morally right. Even on most of ISIS atrocities videos, they kill those people while showing Quran texts to support their deeds. There are morally good Muslims who oppose the act of their religion, but if they oppose some points of the Quran, then they are not Muslim to the fully Muslim. Most mistake non-muslims make his they ignore most references in the Quran, there is no time, Allah will reveal a msg in the Quran without pointing to who he is referring to. For example:
Yaa ayu aa li insaanu refers to all mankind, all human beings irrespective of the religion
Yaa ayu aa lesina aamonu refers to the beievers..
disbelievers also have their reference, same as polythiests, and so on.
some reference are directed to the Jinns and Humans together, there it is referenced to all his creatures.

there are about 7 verses that speaks something related to that, dont know the one you referring to.. But I will pick the most important amd popular one...
Quran 2:19

And kill them wherever you find them, turn them out where they have turned you out.....

Now what most non-muslims see is the exact 2:191
But when you check the starting point of that verse which is 2:190, it says:

And fight in the way of Allah THOSE WHO FIGHT YOU, but transgress not the limit, for Allah likes not the transgressors....

And most importantly to get the most insightful knowledge of the Quran get a good Hard copy English translated copy instead of downloading apps which can be made by any body of any religion And he /she twist some verse to please self...

More advantage of the hard copy is there is always something called tafsir( like extra explanation or to break something's down) below almost evert page

I had experienced a nightmare situation 3 years ago that makes most people to believe in higher beings, but I hadn't concluded like that.
