Can someone tell me when the monorail & Lagos-Badagry expressway project commenced? I believe it was around the same time with this one and yet there is no end in sight as to when it would be completed. How about the 2nd Niger Bridge? Our politicians are still playing politics with citizens' welfare and progress. Honestly..what we need presently is a total overhaul of our political class/elite/leaders; and also the change in the orientation and thinking of the average Nigerian..else we are never going to get to where we need to get to. |
@ OP.. your mumu never do you finish ba? |
deomelo:Okay..I understand you there. However I would like to bring to your attention that there is no provision for a secession in the Nigerian constitution and doing so will translate to treason. Or is there something I'm yet to grasp fully, if there is I would appreciate your pointing it out and explaining properly. Thanks |
And you had to go online and post pictures of your crying?... You so dumb and stewpeed. RIP to your mom though.. |
That's the simple but sad truth.. this forced marriage is really not yielding results. Why can't the NASS insert a clause in the constitution that'll allow for self-determination and referendum. Rather they'll continue fighting for their pockets and look on as the country gradually descends into lawlessness and anarchy. irsakant: |
The very congent and pragmatic question to achieving an Odua state is: "What is the first step to be taken?" |
Watch out..this "RESTRUCTURING" mantra will be used by the politicians to hoodwink Nigerians come 2019.

Jokers they all are.. |
Rest in Peace Sir |

Hehehehehehehe... E weak you?! ![]() |
princeonx:Hehehehehehehe!!! ![]() The frustration you'll be facing which will make you erupt like that no be here oooo! So hilarious and comical..but then, the lives we men go through. Womenfolk are something else..wives, mothers, sisters, daughters. |
kayo80:Nah you don't need to write a sequel...the new twist will put the readers on another platform of bated breath and suspense which will make them deduce what next is to happen to the characters, by continuing the story by themselves in their minds. All the same..great story bro |
@ kayo80.. This is a very lovely piece..I enjoyed every bit of it,an was held spellbound all through to the end. Actually I was expecting a twist at the end of the story when Dupe called Dapo to tell him she was leaving the country and won't get to see him or contact him again. I thought the twist there was gonna be she had gotten pregnant for him also. Forgive my dry sense of humour but that would have blown the whole suspense of the water and given the story a whole new angle. More ink to your pen bro..keep it up. |
Benita27:Hehehehehe!!! Chill you do not have #SavageEpicResponse |
Greenbullet:How best do you want to raise your children.. 1. Stay in an unhappy marriage which will eventually tell on them and make them maladjusted 2. Stay for their sake and risk getting dispatched to the great beyond (50% chance of that happening), the kids will still live their lives bro 3. Divorce your wife and take care of your kids in the best way you can (whether they stay with you or their mother)..they may hate you at the beginning but with time,as the grow older;they'll see the issue from your perspective. "Live and let live" |
If your SIL calling you by name is making you uncomfortable..then speak out and get it over with. No one has any right to make you feel bad without your consent. This is an issue of different strokes for different folks... If you want her to address you in a way that shows to you a bit of respect..call her attention to it and discuss it with her in a mature way or rather have your younger brother take care of it. You can come up with a nickname if that can make all parties feel less awkward about the issue. |
Dude..if you don't move out into your own place how are you going to prove to your parents that you're old enough and nature to cater for yourself? Mind you, what I meant by "cater for yourself" is not referring to your financial ability rather I'm referring to your emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being. You need to move out of your comfort zone so that you can discover who and what you really are. Trust me your parents are also looking ahead to you moving out but they won't broach the idea with you at first because as the saying goes.."a grown up is still viewed as a child in a parent's sight" So, man up and take that step bro..and you'll d glad you did. |
Greenbullet:You think it's only through her food that she can dispatch you to the great beyond.? Dude wake up and smell the brew. |
Damn she's good... Covert operation and top confidential |
@ OP..I doubt if most Naija gals can do this, even guys too hardly exercise because we are lazy when it comes to exercising in this part of the world. The exercise you mentioned in the pics is good for building firm and strong thighs..no? |
Nice one there mate |
Michellla:Chai..That's epic

LASG should demolish the bungalow and build either a Health Centre or Vocational School in its stead. At least this might serve the general populace. |
Dude...you are seeing the red flags and you still seeking advice from Nairalanders? It seems you have no love for yourself, your family and your unborn kids if you eventually get married to your girlfriend. The 1st Red flag : Your girlfriend sees nothing wrong in her mother's actions, and even quarrels with you whenever you subtly refuse her mother's bidding..is that one a girlfriend? She cannot even stand up to her mother and defend you, which invariably means she can't stand for herself, make her own decisions and stick by it whether her mother approves of it or not. The 2nd Red flag : Why would your gf mother enquire about your income and even had the effontery to come to your place of work..who does that.? Dude..whether you go ahead with the relationship or not is your cup of brew, peeps advising you to man up and stand by your decisions do not have your best interest at heart, because if you eventually marry the girl, the mother will still influence you by proxy through the daughter. RUN AS FAST AS YOUR LEGS CAN CARRY YOU MAN!! |
Dude..keep your discovery to yourself. Whatever God has joined together, let no friend put asunder. You think your friend is not aware his wife is a kleptomaniac? Face your role a friend (Support) and don't put your nose in his marital life. A word is enough. |
@ OP. ..thanks for creating this thread. Immediately I went through it, i proceeded to download the app and within 4 minutes I completed the account setting up. Kudos to the First Bank IT team for creating this user friendly application. However I have a little observation and suggestion. Why is that once a user opens the application, the account balance is displayed boldly, why can't it be fashioned in a way such that one can just tap an icon to request the account balance? Once again..a big thumbs up to you guys for developing this app. |
cc150615:Hi.. would appreciate if you could mention the 3 active tourism coys. I hope their fares are not cut-throat, I'm thinking of exploring the tourist sites the country has in stock. Thanks |
Chai...@ OP; you be baaaad guy o. A whole Alhaja loun loun. |
This is a very nice and welcome development, which is long overdue to reduce the loss of time wasted to traffic jams in that environ. Also it provides a huge source of relief to commuters going towards Ijaiye/Ojokoro, Agbado, Toll-Gate and Ogun state as they are free from the gridlocks experienced at that axis. However, One should know that if a problem is solved; the solution will definitely raise another set of problems which bring me to point out the following: 1. The government should try and position traffic personnel at strategic positions along that axis (especially before and after the bridge, at the base) as the yellow buses have quickly converted them to bus-stops. I shook my head in despair at how undisciplined we Lagosians are. 2. Also the LASG should try and build laybys to serve as picking and dropping-off points for vehicles as these won't only prevent traffic but also prevent unnecessary accidents which leads to loss of life. 3. Lastly, that newly constructed axis needs a pedestrian bridge because individuals moving from one side of Abule Egba to the other side especially at the MrBiggs/WEMA Bank/GTBank crossing to connect to Ekoro Road now cross the expressway, which is very dangerous 4. Lastly, there should be a team of security personnel stationed at that axis to prevent robbery and maiming because dem 'boiz' will soon turn it into their hunting ground if care is not taken. All in All.. A huge thanks to Governor Ambode for this well thought out project. Looking forward to the Abule Egba- Oshodi BRT lane and The overhead bridge to be built at PEN CINEMA Agege |
