[/b]When you pick her up in the evenings. You can start offering her other solids and you continue at the weekends with the new food introduction. These can then be added to the creche food. [b]

You can also give her cereals for them to try in nursery, give then only things that just need them to add water or milk.

With new foods for babies just a few spoons initially is considered a success, we mums sometimes expect them to finish a whole plate/bowl. Consider also that they are learning to take food off a spoon and swallow things that are a new texture for them. So it will take time.

Pre-pack each feed plus like 2 extra portions,. Pack your flasks of hot water and a bottle of normal water. Pack your nappies and a few extra clothes.

Yes mama, I did search and it really helped with clothings to pack, it’s just cos have been doing exclusive with no bottles, dats why am really concerned...I will do just dat at the bolded, can I try Aptamil formular or which formular do you think exclusive fed babies like .. just so we don’t waste money again!!

Gave her Aptamil creamed banana porridge earlier today , she took it , then I also bought August secrets food since she is close to 6 months ( we are 5 months 9 days already) , not started with the purée foods yet ... she eventually threw up the whole food , tried giving her again but she kept on pushing it away ( I know I have to be patient)and I have just 3 days till Monday , mamas Biko what’s the way forward here cos I have being having headache since.

PS: where can I get that Haiers flask, saw the reviews about the flask here , plus asides putting packing hot water for her , do I still need to put cold water in another flask? Sorry for my confused state, am new at this, thanks!!

Am still using ribbons,i always re-do it almost everyday ( I loosen a puff,comb and re puff it again).Then I remove all and wash with water every 2 days and soap at the end of the week(read it here not to use soap on hair everyday)
Plz don't use wool so it doesn't start pulling her Edges plus she might start getting fuzzy with it, don't be tired o...it should get better when they are one.

Please who knows or got this immunisation for their baby - 'Meningococcal conjugate'?

I want to know if its important or my hospital just want to Scam me. Its to be given at 10 weeks and also 6 months.

It was initially not on the list of immunizations they gave me. But when we got to hospital for her 6 weeks immunizations, I Was informed they have added Meningococcal conjugate to the 10 weeks immunization and its 10k so I should be prepared. I told them I'm under hmo, super executive for that matter, but they said that no hmo covers this particular immunization. Contacted hmo too, they said this immunizations isn't there.

Please if its important and you received it for ur baby, I want to know any health center or hospital that gives it for a lesser price or free sef cos 10k is not chicken change. Around Ojodu Berger or ikeja. Thanks

Seems we had the same hormones during pregnancy, the rate at which my hair grew during pregnancy ehenn I thought my DD wasnt gon have hair.
There is this myth dat says after you give birth,the hair will start cutting off [/s]if I hear say e cut off[s],my hair is getting fuller everyday.

Mamas that their DD don't have hair are really cracking me up .You needed to have seen my hair when I was a baby,my own pass highway,had like 4 strands of hair till my mom started using orisirisi treatment, and it worked weller .
So don't mind all this mamas that has full hair hair on their DS [s][/s]they will still give them a clean haircut[s][/s] and you can always grow your DD's

BTW,to comb Baby's full hair is work...I can use 20 mins on my DD's hair plus extra 2 hours to make puff puff!!

the infant drops will be more appropriate for your DD. The other liquids are for older kids from age 1.

from my observation, multivitamin drugs only help with nutritional deficiency and not necessarily make a child eat more.
