Hello , I stated my own school details in the part they asked for letter of admission for my child , I also attached email correspondent from schools around Ontario I messaged before submitting my application ..

However after the introduction of Attestation letters , I heard you can’t upload your own LOA again , you can either write to your school to help draft a letter of admission for your child or you write a letter of explanation quoting IRCC website stating that your child doesn’t need an enrollment letter

So the to the SOWP , yes , spouse of international students in colleges are not eligible for SOWP after the announcement

I submitted the application for my family Feb 18 ( before the commencement of the announcement ). Plz note I am still in Nigeria to resume for fall ( September )

I was so scared after the announcement that I had to quickly do an email to RROC on March 19th ,cos my kids medicals were passed March 9th and spouse medicals passed March 19th

To my little knowledge, if you used him as sponsor on your SP, just make sure the bank statement covers your remaining tuition and your family’s POF and since the SOWP takes a bit of time to process, you can explain in your SOP your plans to pay your tuition balance in a week or two and attaching it via webform.

Plz Guys , still on this POF matter , my spouse also uses his personal account for his business transactions and salary , hence there is a huge inflow in his account
Now my question is , is it ok to present this account as POF cos the funds are in his account and how well can the account statement be presented to the VO. The funds in his account is more than enough for him and 2 kids

He has invoices , tax return , receipts and pay stubs to back up his business and part time job

Also plz note , I have only paid my first semester fees , but I will be paying second semester fees in coming weeks . , then I can attach the receipt through webform

Don't fall into the IRCC trap. The impression they have now is that many if you don't really have thr money that you claim you have in your statement, hence the rush for SOWP for your spouse so that he/she will be working to pay for your tuition fees or living cost. The impression they have about Nigerians now is terrible. This is from a reliable source. You may be asked to present the evidence of payment of full tuition fees. Somebody is now in a serious soup. He submitted the SOWP for his wife. IRCC is now requesting the payment of full tuition fees or else the already approved Study Permit will be revisited and reviewed. Canada is not smiling now

Abeg I need confirmation of this 1way courier service from vfs if it's really 14k+. Some people says they paid 20k naira some says 18k. Please which is correct abeg.

I paid #22,560 in December for my courier return from VFS.You can do them an email Canadang@vfshelpline.com to inquire about the rate as at now . And they would reply with every other details you need about the courier services

[You can sure apply for sowp now but the issue of deferral might create a big issue for you. Apply for the sowp now. Write a good sop to show why u think it will be good for you and your spouse to leave same time. But do not defer as you will only be given 3 months extra on your study permit after the completion of your studies This may pose a risk iin the future when you apply for pgwp. If you are pregnant before you go, you can make things messy for them if you understand what I meant before they change things again!!! You can apply for your spouse right away and leave in March.Keep pregnancy issue away from them until u get here.

I think application is still being accepted for SWOP, they said "in few weeks' time", so I would advise you submit as soon as possible. And if you have the funds, you can also apply for visit visa concurrently, there is no harm in having the two.

The announcement won't affect your kids if they are still in primary/secondary school, so you can still go ahead with study permit for them.

Hello house, please I need some clarity on my situation

I got my study visa approved in dec 2023 for May intake, however I was looking at deferring to September cos we want to have more than enough to settle in Canada and also pay more school fees from here . We both have good jobs/ business and Didnt plan to stop till July.
So here are the issues

1. I was about to apply for my spouse and kids, but with this new policy I would like to know if I submit a SOWP for my spouse and he is approved, and I resume in September, will his visa still be affected?

2. Is it better to submit a visit visa for him than SOWP cos of the fear of getting denied looking at the new policy

3. If my fam application is approved, Should we just go in May? If we doing this, means our jobs/business would need to stop in April and that also mean loosing a lot of money

Please I would appreciate some clarity from anyone🙏

June is finally here!!!! The long awaited June is finally here!! Happy new month everyone. May this month be a month of joy and laughter for all of us ijn.

This journey seemed far, but we kept on pushing, with joy, with tears, with happiness, the day of strength, the day of no strength, finally we are here. Father Lord, we thank you for the journey thus far because it is not by our power nor might that we have come to the month of our supernatural delivery but for your mercy and favor that you have shown us, accept our thanksgiving in Jesus mighty name.

I say a big congratulations to all of us team June, e no easy buy here we are, our testimonies shall be permanent and people shall rejoice with us in Jesus mighty name.
I believe our hospital bags must have been packed and ready in preparation for the arrival of our little ones by now. Please let's also endeavor to put things in other, like finalizing our leave(for both civil and private employees), start exercising for easy delivery and oh yes we can now eat fruits and foods that aids easy birth( like eating pineapple, dates, zobo, drinking ewedu or okra) whether it works or not I don't think there's harm in trying it.

There shall be no loss amongst us ijn, we shall all go into the labor room and come out alive and with our babies alive too IJN, we shall all come back to share our beautiful BA's and BS ijn, none shall be found wanting or missing among us ijn. Our delivery shall be easy, short and painless IJN.

First time mamas like me, please no dulling o, when u see signs of labor, better to go to hospital and get checked and sent back home to come later than to sit at home and be forming pro.
Tohhan please let's hear from you. How is it going? The lord is your strength and you shall share your testimony ijn . Yaaaayyy nah u wan open floor for us o

Honestly , the packages come differently … I have been battling with lower waist pain , pelvic and vaginal wall pain … can’t sit , stand up or turn on the bed with ease , the pains I feel in these areas ehennn.. it’s making me think I should do a VBAC o but husband man said No , we should stick to the process we are used to … so na to carry myself go back hospital next weekend

On a lighter note , that’s how I took myself to Lagos island on Friday for final shopping, Omo na so so iya ibeji , mama Ejima left right and center, some even said you still get time to do fashion .
some other people offered me their seat to relax in btw my waka waka because I was walking like a penguin going bk to the car , but mehnnn the waka was not funny at all o , felt it when I got home .
In fact LO sef was just kicking me anyhow as per say you don stress me today this woman , I will give you back gbas gbos . I Cldnt also do anything the next day , couldn’t lift my fingers . Se bi I for just stay around my neighborhood buy jeje …
but the shopping was worth it sha, I got home and was happy with what I bought . It’s just that one need to go to the real mother care section , so you don’t end up buying China products .

Na countdown mood we Dey like this, can’t wait to have myself back o because my tired is knackered already !

Hello mama , flannel is not for you to wrap baby fully .. this is about the same size you get everywhere

You can use your flannel as a support bed spread in your baby cot or you can also always hold it to cover your baby when you going out or at a public place / party ( Incase you need to breast feed if you don’t have a beast cover or the AC of the hall is too much , I do this as per an owambe person a lot �)

This is why I don’t really bother wasting money on flannels , but it would still serve some purpose , make e no be like say money don waste
