Gext22: Had biafra being alive today with the brilliant ojukwu as its first president, I can only imagine how far it would have gone. Given the rate of indigenous military manufacturing borne out of existential necessity, we can't possibly estimate how much potential and technological capability biafra would have possessed by now, possibly dominating the west African sub region on land and air . Atleast a medium level technological power in the mould of South Korea or Israel. What a waste of potential and an immense loss. Would have been another Japan in Africa. I assure you Biiiafra is coming back, this time around ten times stronger than Ojukwu-led Biiiafra. |

No loot will be recovered. Nigerians have very low IQ; they can't reason...how is it possible of all past presidents/head of states, only one was said to have looted? |

Ojukwu Bunker in Umuahia. When western delegates visited this bunker after the war, they were shocked that blacks could build such a sophisticated bunker with air control and ventilation systems as far back as 1960s...a technology only known to top western countries at the time. These Biiiafran engineers were way ahead of their time!
The civil war was not only a secession war, it was a war of technology; to stop Biiiafra technology prowess before it's too late!

EastLebanon: The man who showed the west that the blackman is capable of manufacturing planes, bombs, guns e.t.c
some calls him names for running to ivory coast, the biafran army were smart, that's the reason they ask him to flee to ivory coast because if he had died in the war it would have been the worst thing to happen to the igbos. Once again adieu ikemba nnewi. I read in some books that he carefully safeguarded those design prototypes for aircraft, ships and warheads, and other undisclosed technology that they planned on manufacturing had Biiiafra been restored...the arch reason for the Ivory Coast trip! These were later passed secretly to Biiiafra engineers and scientists who went on exile....these were engineers and scientists that were whisked out of the country by western governments to tap on their expertise just as the US and Russia whisked German engineers and scientists after world war 2 to their countries. |

No wonder he swore that quota system Gowon would never rule people of his likes, Gen. Effiong, Gen. Achuzia, Gen. Ejoor, Ifeajuna, Nzeogwu, Oluteye, Ademoyega. Is it also a coincidence that Gen. Aquiyi was the first ever decorated Army general? Useless country...everything is now quota system. SMH! Ojukwu 1967 https://cdn.makeagif.com/media/2-05-2016/zder03.gif |

AustineE1: It is a welcomed development and i wish my amiable governor Obiano of Anambra state and other South East governors can key into this project, this must been taken into priority as an Igbo project. We must try to call out other interest groups in South East to join hand and make this port project a reality. Chukwu gozie umuigbo! Nice thought. My fear is northerners will call him soon and warn him to dissist from going on with it or else. Hope he stays strong because I know deep in my heart that this project will be abandoned very soon like Akwa Ibom Ibaka and Onitsha River port. We SS and SE still don't understand that the systematic marginalization of SS and SE. There is a reason why Calabar, Rivers and Warri ports are not functional...it's not by happenstance, it's a well calculated plan to ensure that SE and SS isn't economically independent as having a functional ports will ensure that. Our people don't get this! |

Rich4god: If our govt are serious in protecting its citizens, a lot can be done against these men. No one fights the govt and even. If this present admin will look into Fulani issue as the are doing to el zaky's men n iPod youths, believe me something will change. I mean, these guys are not spirit and pple know wia to find them. Its just that our country is really turning into a zoo wia there is no law. You would think Fulani violence would be a top priority to this administration as they are killing tens to hundreds of Nigerians monthly. Instead they are more focused on shiite and IPOB...both who have not taken any life. |

Nigerians are oblivious to the laws governing Fulani. Are you aware that Fulani by law are not mandated to abide by Nigerian law? Are you aware that if you called a police on a Fulani, Police will refuse to arrest him or her...if you think I'm lying, try it. That's why they bear arms openly but try am see wetin go happen to you. They don't operate under the jurisdiction of Nigeria or any west africa laws. Even our courts can't prosecute them...if I'm lying, go file a civil or criminal case against them, the judge will tell you, he/she is recusing himself or herself from the case. |
