Family / Re: 70% Of Nigerians Are Mentally Unstable - Psychiatrist by Liedetect: 2:27pm On Jul 11, 2010
I suppose in this world if you're a happy people (in spite of many problems), a confident people (in spite of multimedia pressure to dehumanize you), a people whose children don't hold grudges, don't go into schools committing mass murder, if your children don't go around killing other children, if you're not a jealous people, you're a people who dont need validation from the West, you're a people that abhor sexual crudity, abhor homosexuality, frown on your children having sex young, insist on respect for your elders, then i suppose in a world where the opposite of these traits are normal then you probably will be seen as having mental problems.

It's like in the Land of the Blind the one eyed man is a weirdo

It's like some sort of Machiavellian joke. Imagine, you take a people totally smooth and in touch with their humanity based on primordial cultures and call them mentally ill as opposed to the West were modernity and atomization of society has driven everybody to the verge of collapse, misery psychosis and paranoia and think of these later people as setting the standard to emulate.

Sauron

Come together and do what?
U must think London is a village where people assemble and talk about the social ills.
I dunno the names of ma neighbours and i have been staying in this address for the past gazillion years. . . . .

That's why they gotta start. Its a shame there are so many Nigerians in Britain and no political clout.  They can start in churches. Encourage meetings cross tribal ones. We got to be able to organize in such a way that if a situation arises as happen once when a Nigerian woman was beaten for selection to represent Labor  by no other a person than by the then unknown Harriet Harmon simply because of Caribbean support .

It's a gang thing. Nigerian kids are also involved in these knife crimes. . . . .Only an ignoramus would turn this to a racial issue.

Not true.

Read this:

The teenagers, aged 14 to17, are being questioned over the murder of Sofyen Ghailan in a running knife battle that took place in front of evening commuters at London's Victoria station on Thursday.

Schoolgirls were also reportedly part of a mob that chased the victim into the underground station ticket hall where the attack happened. The boy was cornered and then stabbed repeatedly in the chest before being left dying in a pool of blood as the gang fled.

It is understood that the girls were not among those arrested and there is no suggestion that any took part in the attack.

Detectives suspect two groups – about 15 youths from west London and 20 from north-west London – converged on the station for a planned fight.

They are believed to be of Somalian or Afro-Caribbean origin. The gangs were reported to have come to blows in the days before the murder. Police have recovered several weapons, including two knives, from the scene.

It is believed that almost all of the killing was caught on CCTV cameras. Graham Lewis, a Tube worker, said: "My colleague who witnessed it said the victim was basically set upon by a gang of young boys. Some were wearing school uniform."

Det Supt Ashley Croft, of the British Transport Police, said: "This was a reckless act of violence that has resulted in a teenager tragically losing his life."

Sofyen, who was born in London and was of north African descent, was a pupil at Henry Compton Secondary School in Fulham.

The school has a history of knife violence involving pupils. Three years ago Kodjo Yenga, a pupil at the school, died in a knife attack.

In 2004 former pupil Elliot White, then 24, helped to kill John Monckton, a banker, who was stabbed in front of his wife and daughter at his Chelsea home.

Last night tributes were paid to Sofyen, from Acton, west London, on Facebook, the social networking site.

More than 100 people joined a group called RIP Sofyen.

Det Supt Ashley Croft, of British Transport Police, who is leading the inquiry, said it was a "reckless act of violence".

Refusing to confirm which school the suspected attackers were attending, Mr Croft added: "What I am looking at is the background to all the people in custody. We have arrested 20 people and that is a positive step.

The colors red, gold, and green are closely association with the Rastafarian Movement. They come from the old Ethiopian flag used during the reign of Haile Selassie. The colors symbolize Rastas loyalty to Selassie, Ethiopia, and Africa, and they are frequently seen on clothing, hats, and other decorations in Jamaica.

Each color of the flag stands for something rastas believe in. Red stands for the blood that bleeds to the Earth, replenishes the land, and helps to grow ganja. Green stands for the vegetation of Africa. And gold stands for the prosperity Africa offered before the extraction of diamonds and gold during slavery. It also represents the sun, which gives life to all. In addition to the colors of the flag, black is also significant to rastas. The colors of the Ethiopian flag, along with black, make up the colors of “Pan-African Unity” for Marcus Garvey, a man who is considered a prophet and a leader in the movement.

The Rastafarian flag has nothing to do with Ghana its all about Ethiopia.  In fact it would appear Ghana copy the Ethiopian flag.

The colours of African unity – red, green, yellow – are seen on one of the oldest African flags.

These colours were used for the national flag of Ethiopia in 1897; a year after Ethiopia determinedly defended itself from colonial Italy at the Battle of Adwa.

The flag’s tri-colour scheme was there since the early 19th c. and was formerly the official banner of the Ethiopian Empire’s Solomonic dynasty.

TV/Movies / Re: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by Liedetect: 4:23pm On Jul 05, 2010
Nigerians seem too interested in Ghana for my liking. I've stated before, Nigeria should leave Ghana and Ghanaians alone and concentrate on the bigger picture. We'v always excelled individually or collectively, when we do, by having no inferiority complex and just going ahead with things. If we start concentrating on small Ghana, however successful they are or may become in future, we'll be dragged down.

Ghana is poison to Nigeria, we should wish them all the best, as Africans, because we as Nigerian have always batted for Africans and blacks generally. Wish them (Ghana) the best, prey for their success in future, but forget them and face the rest of the world.

Remember Oyibo will always use one set of black people to keep another set of more adventurous black people in their place. In my opinion Ghanians seek to take advantage of this oyibo attitude in order to better themselves. They will try to show the western world that they Ghanaians are on their side against  the horrible Nigerians.  In the coming years Ghana cinema, with foreign help, will or may rise to dizzying heights, but Nigerians should not react by running over there, Nigerians should concentrate on their own  cinema, develop the grassroots, invest, pioneer, hustle, innovate and be adventurous as always.

Nigerians are good and bighearted people, straightforward and generous. The nature of things always come around in the end to favor such people so long as they work hard.

All these African teams sef don disgrace us. Ghana is the only african team that have done well so far

There's bound to be a touch of racialism going on wherever Oyibo and Africans tarry. But if whites were forced to choose between the African countries, i recon Ghana would be the country they would like to win the world cup.

Think about that wink

He showed how some Africans are still bush and have no training. Not professional at all but acted like a 9 year old.

I'm sorry but in some instances, for example racial abuse, if some oyibo insult me on pitch, i would kick his backside, if i could, football or no football. In fact i would rip up a corner flag pole and pursue him like the Jamaicans deed in a game i saw with them against Mexico i think. The boy has apologized lets try and accept and move on.

Nigeria is a great country the best in black Africa.Nigerians are the highest achievers, we win everything going in Africa so we lost a game of football whats the big deal. We just have to start all over again and next time keep things indigenous.  In fact the people going overboard are more shameful than the Nigerian players. In fact it is probably people like you moaners that influence our footballers making them play as if they don't care. If you keep running down your country and influencing other Nigerians to do the same, is it a surprise  when they act as if they don't care about the country?

so we lost, big deal! others will loose too, only one country will win the world cup. the team that wins all will remeber no one will remember the others.
Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Greece: [1 - 2] On June 17, 2010 @ World Cup by Liedetect: 5:05pm On Jun 17, 2010
Get rid of the manager. Start giving Nigerian coaches more chance, even if we spend fifteen years in the wilderness let us only use Nigerian managers.

let us keep fate with indigenous managers, use repeatedly and soon they will become good.

Celebrities / Re: Nigeria Vs Ghana Movie Stars Which Do You Prefer by Liedetect: 6:49pm On Jun 14, 2010
This Ghana v Nigeria thing is holding us back. angry angry angry

Look, Nigeria should stop using Ghanaian actors. Niger filmmakers should concentrate on giving, out-of-work-Nigerians more opportunity. Nigerians should understand that like India, in Asia, Ghana is a white man’s tool. Whites will always give them a helping hand in the outside world. I bet even now, as I type, some grand design is being hatched in the film-making world with whites providing, equipments, training in editing, marketing and distributions for Ghanaians in order to influence the financial potential of film making in Africa and the political potential of film-making to cause social havoc.

Nigeria and Nigerians should be weary of Ghanaians. Nigerians should wish Ghana good luck and face the other way. We tangle with Ghana and we will lose confidence, bit by bit and be dragged down never to fulfill the great potential that we have. We are a breezy, hopeful and go getting people.

Can’t see Ghana not qualifying. Their group is relatively easy. Germany is the only descent team in there. Also I doubt Nigerians are praying for Ghana to loose. I don’t want Ghana not to qualify to do so would be disgusting. Nigerians don't have bad minds. Knowing how sneaky Ghanaian are, It wouldn’t surprise me if it is Ghanaian posing as Nigerians writing to say they want Ghana to fail just to give the impression that we’re as disgusting as they are.

Ghanaians would be more blessed  in the long run if they spend more time praying and hoping that all African countries progress rather than hoping other African countries fail so that they Ghana can look good.
