SmartPolician: While this is commendable, this is called playing to the gallery. All politicians do this to win people's hearts.
That's because the governor knows how much every level in civil service of his state earns. He didn't have to wait for someone to speak up before it's increased. One thing is to promise and another thing is to implement it. But those security are not staff. Let agree that Makinde did what is good, he does not have to do it, but mercy, grace and favor showed up for them. |

such plan don't calm tentions, it pours fuel on them Palestinians strong rejection Wasn't just emotional, it was a Political survival. Did you read his comments. I think another error is being made here by the Palestinians as they did in 1948 and 1992. Achieve peace and prosperity for your people. Trump plan has its end game in two State solution, but that cant be achieved in this current hostile environment. |

Politics › Re: Ndume To Tinubu: I Don't Mind If You Act Like A Dictator, Dissolve PENGASSAN by Lifestone(m): 9:51am On Sep 30, 2025 |
Basicend: The solution the president must adopt is to ensure a framework that will continuously archive healthy competition within the sector.
One entity cannot and should not be allowed to ultimately determine pricing, production or supply chain.
It will be to the benefit of Nigerians in the long-run.
Dangote must be handled with wisdom. His ultimate intent is dangerous. So President should kill Dangote Ref so that there will be no strong players. Over 25 Refinery licences were approved. Did Dangote stopped other licences from operating. What is the problem of Dangote here? |
Politics › Re: Ndume To Tinubu: I Don't Mind If You Act Like A Dictator, Dissolve PENGASSAN by Lifestone(m): 9:32am On Sep 30, 2025 |
ogascomax: So that means they should allow Dangote to treat Nigeria workers the way he wants because he built the refinery as a private owner. Whether private or government they must be guided by the law of the land regarding engaging and disengaging workers. Apart from what Dangote is doing many workers are suffering in the hands of many employers without protection. Many a time people will work and employers will find reason not to pay you and to sack you. Some employers have become so notorious about such a behaviour. They were a time that my brother worked for a lady. Time to pay him she told him if she gave him employment letter. You can easily take sides in this matter but since you are not working in that refinery you will be standing with Dangote but those who are working and suffering there will say otherwise. Someone said did they force them to work. Sometimes I wonder how people reason. Don't be childish in thinking. I'm sure you dont own a business |

Wallade: If you ask me: I would say Peter Obi doesn't know what he wants or he is unintentional, unstrategic and careless about his ambition.
All he wants to do is critic and badmouth the government of the day while others are already building alliances and platforms to challenge the incumbent government. He's grossly behind other aspirants for the Presidential candidate of ADC and I doubt if he can still catch up. Going in with ADC was a very bad decision. |

Pengassan don't need dues from any dangote refinery. That's the wealthiest union in Nigeria you are talking about. You think someone earning 5million per month really needs the dues of a 300k salary earner. Na wa oooo So anyone who do not agree with you is ignorant. |

Sheuns: Has Sowore ever held an elective position or had a political appointment ever in his life in Nigeria?
Why should anyone be bothered if he has a property in the USA worth $500k?
The document shows the property is in the name of two persons, the second name Opeyemi O Sowore is Sowore's wife. A property co-owned by two persons cannot be unilaterally declared by one of both parties.
Go school, study well, expand your knowledge base, you guys said no. Instead, you chose to defend politicians that steal and are looting your future. He's using activism to cash out big time ni. |
