Obasanjo attempted something like this, it was reversed by Yaradua, I hope the next government will not reverse the concession. Nigerian Government don't respect contracts

MadamVanessa:
shocked

The one month lock down doesn't affect people going about their normal businesses, but it's strictly to shut down all Nigerian institutions in the Biafran territory.

Any Nigerian police, army or whatever that love his family and his life, should not be tempted, please stay clear and be safe for your family, I hate seeing policemen and army turned into a lifeless barbecue.
You mean that you supported this?

And I believe I corrected you several saying that even in such cases, defamation is handled and proven in court, not first with police arrests. Read through Section 373 - Section 381 do not prescribe police arrests before the court is engaged in those cases.

Police arrests can only occur according to that stipulated in Section 35(1) of the Nigerian Constitution, Section 38(1) of the Nigerians Police Act 2020 & Section 18(1) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act. Any arrest made outside of that is illegal or even kidnapping. undecided
And I asked you which come first, investigations or prosecution? If you defamed me through the Internet, I will use the cyber crime laws to send you to prison. You will be investigated, arrested and prosecuted.
I do not support press suppression, but I do not also support lies against others. Defamation, journalist must also be responsible in their reporting. There must be consequences.

Posting unverifiable propaganda is not a criminal offense even in Nigeria. So, an arrest in such cases is actually illegal according to
Section 32(2) of the Nigerians Police Act 2020
Section 8(2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015
↪and Section 35(1) of the Nigerian Constitution. undecided

Also, if you condone the illegal arrest of people you like to hate, know that you or members of your family are likely to be caught in the same net as these men next. Hope you would sing the praises of your tormenters even then. undecided
I have corrected you on this before. Stop misleading people, there's what is called criminal defamation.

any body that graduated from this university is smarter and intelligent than you. What have you achieved all your life as a graduate that you are with your own certificate? You that your school has more than twenty buildings , did they retain you after your graduation? Or the government that you are backing , did they offer you employment? Be wise

Phones / Re: Shop Owner That Humiliated Salesgirl Over Loss Of Iphone15 Speaks Out (Video) by Lifestone(m): 5:16pm On Aug 26
Willie2015:

A sales girl has no business with money...
Cash collection and transfers from Customers should be handled by the cashier....
Cashier authorized release of goods after confirmation of funds...
That's the standard procedure.

You are talking about a structured business. These are sales shop, one man business. There no such things, their costs structure can't accommodate that. They won't hold her responsible if she is not accountable

so nearing the sales girl will bring back the phone.
But there should be consequences. Tomorrow if someone else loses something more valuable, how will you sanction him/her since you set a bad precedent of not sanctioning this one. It becomes a reference point

This one na just wicked person. Thank Goodness it was resolved. I can assure that if she (The Madam) was robbed off this phone by a roadside petty thief, she would have never spoken about it again but because it was her salesperson. Kill, kill.
I'm sure you have never ran a shop.

Willie2015:

Its negligence also on the part of the shop owner.

There should be a dedicated staff handling transfers from Customers...

Simple policy that Customers should know transfers will be confirmed before releasing goods... should be in place.

Its poor controls over their procedures...

A sales person has responsibility to confirm his/her payment before releasing her goods. It's common sense
Until you run a business.

BP for instance is what most Nigerians do not want to talk about

And you will be surprised that more than half of Nigerians have it

one does not have to be old to have BP, even teenagers have it these days

our food and lifestyle predisposes most black people to BP

Yet - most Nigerians in Nigeria hate to talk about it

Talk less of treating it, IF they have it - sadly!
Very true talk

Who do you think?
Certainly not the owner. The careless sales girl should bear it. I'm happy she resigned, let her start her own business and see how it hurts.
For other sales girls resigning means there was a conspiracy, I'm happy the owner dodged a bullet
