Where is the role of the State Governors in determining who police a State and yet they are called the Chief Security Officer of their respective State. 1999 Constitution is a scam and should be completely restructured, not reviewed

These are very cosmetic arrangements. What we need as a nation is a comprehensive Policing reforms that promote decentralization of Policing to State and Local Government as it was done in the Pre-independence and immediate after independence.
In the USA, Counties Cities etc have their separate police department, this allows for quick and home made decision making. The current centralized Police structure is cumbersome for our Country.
No amount of transfers or promotions will help

lexylaw40:
sir Nigeria will not pay in dollars..we a going to pay the naira equivalent. We will have to amend our constitution to pay in dollars that's what I'm saying.

And Nigeria never demanded dollar payments from Dangote. Dangote will price the crude in dollars and pay the naira equivalent.

And the cost of transportation is what's called subsidy ( Nigeria use to pay for transportation) so now its automatic subsidy since cost of shipping which is also referred to as "The Landind cost" has been removed automatically since we now buy locally. So how won't that reduce the price of the products.
It does not work that way. Dangote is located in the Lekki Export Processing Zone, which permit him to charge his prices in Dollars without contravening the constitution.
Paying in Naira equivalent you said, it means Nigeria will pay the Naira value of the cost.
The landing Costs is the total cost of the product from purchase, freight (transportation), insurance and vat, what will reduce is freight and insurance only. Yes, the cost may reduce, but not substantially
Politics / Re: This Is The Time To Know If Dangote Is For Nigerians Or Against Us. . Fuel Price by Lifestone(m): 9:28am On Jan 15
lexylaw40:
OK, that makes sense.

But now remove cost of shipping from the USA to Nigeria ( subsidy).... so now its automatic subsidy for Nigeria , abi I'm I making sense. So think therefore all the by products will be cheaper than when we use to import , because it is the cost of transportation that's making it expensive.

So if Dangote want to sell in dollars that's fine.

We will pay him the naira equivalent because that's what's obtainable

So we won't need dollars to buy products made in Nigeria

It's a win win
We will have to pay in dollars. But maybe crude swap, so we may not pay physical cash, but it's still in dollars. Also because Dangote is in Nigeria it will not affect external reserves, the dollar belongs to him, but it's counted as pert of Nigeria external reserves.
I agree with you that the cost of transportation and insurance should bring the cost down, but how significant is that? Not very significant
More importantly, it will remove those inflated the volume of imported fuel

lexylaw40:
Please is Dangote the owner of the crude or Nigeria. Its confusing. A Refinery is just a plant and Nigeria is the owner of the crude. So the Refinery gets crude supply from Nigeria and Nigeria pays the Refinery for work done period.

But before we sell crude to the USA and then we go back to them to buy finished products from their oil dealers, subsidies the cost of shipping and sell here.

Now we simply take it to Dangote to help us refine it and pay for work done.

So if I'm wrong please educate me on the agreement we have with the plant ( Dangote Refinery)
The crude is sold to Dangote at the international price, he purchased 90% of his equipment in dollars, so he will benchmark his pricing with international price.

This one is a small win for his victims who are still struggling to achieve proper rehabilitation and restitution.

Now the demythification of Cult-Daddy can kick into full swing, in spite of feeble protests by Fani-Kayode and all other cult members.
Be calming down. I'm not a fan of TB Joshua, All these are coming from those disciples who lost out in the power struggles after the demise of the man

That is most likely the key to his house or car which he is paying for. You need to stop supporting women blindly.

My question is: Does it mean this Administration is not favouring the yoruba clownish tribe?

Has Bola turned his back on his people?

How come the people that were supposed to be taught severe lessons are the head teachers now?

Hmmm.

Many will look at it like this is how he paid back that woman who suffered with him, he once stated that this his first wife had several miscarriages, about 18 for several years of their marriage before God answered their prayers and blessed their union with fruit of the womb which the whole world celebrated with them both then.

Gani Adams was full of love and praise for this his first wife that everyone was pleasantly surprised to see his romantic side. I believe his first wife was probably one of those all over the newspapers that time when Gani Adams was being incarcerated, begging everyone to plead with FG under Pa Obasanjo to release Iba Gani.

This is why I believe that success is a magnifying lens. Once he is yet to attain power and wealth, whatever character he is displaying is not yet his true character.

Congratulations to them both o. It's just necessary to remember the woman who tended the tree under which the Delta woman found shade.

If his first wife is heartbroken about this, he should console her. She should remain strong and do her best especially for her children even if her husband did not show her the amount of love she expected. Check my signature for free stuffs!
Is she not the one that connive with his erstwhile Chief of Staff ? I think she has ran away to Canada, I don't know if she's back now. It was a very messy issue then. I'm sure he's moving on.
