Due to the Conflict in Ukraine??
So, if the Conflict ends, what will happen?
(The demand for gas will drop, and the pipeline would become useless??
Abiii??
Is this the best thing we can do with our money at the moment??)
Nope Europe wants to reduce her energy dependency on Russia who has such similar gas pipelines to Europe.
Aside,, this project is a joint venture with Europe with Russia showing interest to invest. Imo, this should have been done some 40 years back. But better late than neve

These Europeans want to drain our life out of us in Nigeria, using the opportunity of having bad leaders and colliding with them to kill the good ones that want to turn Nigeria to a better country.
Almighty God will judge you all.

Awolowo, Muritala Mohammed, Abiola, Yaradua, Gani Fawehimi etc may your souls rest in perfect peace.
But they will pay, we will have more dollar inflow, exchange rate will come down, prices of imported items will come down as a result of improved exchange rate, more revenue to fund infrastructures (if well managed). This should have been done some 49years ago

This guy will ruin himself with his poor attitude if he isn't careful. This isn't the first time he's doing this nonsense. Few months ago, he showed up at a paid show 5 hours late when fans were tired of waiting for him.
And what was the reason? It wasn't his fault then, it may not be his fault now

PROUDIGBO:

This your post is diversionary and aimed at trying to throw people off the scent of the most likely criminals…the Fulani bandits/herdsmen/terrorists and/or their foreign mercenary cousins!

Assuming we go along with your theory, don’t you think if someone they knew was the mastermind of the plot….or involved in its execution, that they would ensure they remain in the background and not expose their identity? Some may even argue that given the emotional attachment involved, that this is all the more reason why the girl wouldn’t be harmed! They murdered their hostages simply because they didn’t want their ethnicity/origin confirmed like the Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria did!

I think because of the unprecedented level of remorseless evil and savagery these uninvited ‘guests’ have brought to the middle-belt and southern parts of the country, we’ve now become desensitised to the taking of life and just presume we’re no more humane, compassionate and abhorrent of evil!
My comment was without prejudice. Fulani or whosoever could be involved, but most time, victims don't survive if someone they knew participated in the crime. What's my own with the murderous fulani men? The killings are evil and callous. All these are possible because we have irresponsible government in Nigeria who do not take the Security of lifes and property seriously.

This is so sad. They will never benefit from that money. And that money will be a sorrow to the kidnappers.
Usually killings after collecting Ransome mean, the kidnapping was perpetrated by a very well known person to them,. Maybe an ex or even current staff, customers, relatives etc., some who they recognize was among the kidnappers

Publicity is useless to them.
I agree, when you add publicity to that lists, it become lethal.
Check history Bro, publicity is what put the fear factor into the local and international community.
Why do you think those evil people put up video? BBC video won't make it to YouTube if these were in Europe, it will be deleted for promotion of terrorism.

I'm not in any supporting the Federal Government, hell NO. My point is that terrorist enjoys publicity and they should not be given. Getting headlines from BBC will certainly be a joy to those animals killing and kidnapping people

U can go check your mirror if you have any and confirm if you are a human being. Why is it difficult for you guys to express your self without being rude, insulting or cursive.
Does it matter where a terrorist is? America invaded and fought 10year brutal war in Afghanistan in pursuit of Osama because of the September 11, 2001 bombing attack. Which America press has the gut to be practically celebrating the terrorists with headline interviews with Osama? That's the point of Kadira and she's right. Investigative journalism should be exposing the terrorists not making the a celebrity as those report has done.
Publicity is oxygen to terrorists and so they should be denied. That's my point.

American press has done worse than this. Watergate scandal is one of them. Like its said: conscience is an open wound, only truth can heal it. Covering up the Truth won't make the fact go away. FG should study the report and see how they can use it to strengthen the already ailing security structure of the nation.
You cant compare this with Watergate, can you fathom any American press giving Osama Bin ladin or Omar of Taliban such a prime time. American Govt will declare such news outlet an enemy. That's my point. What govt should do with the report is another thing.
Politics / Re: Farooq Kperogi Condemns Kadaria Ahmed's Anti-Media Article by Lifestone(m): 9:33pm On Jul 29
This guy could talk about protecting BBC because he doesn't stay in Nigeria.
We all know that publicity is the oxygen that fuel these terrorists, why give them. Hiding in USA and supporting what the American press won't do to their country.

Mike onolemenmen an Esan man from Edo state was minister of works for 6 years under Jonathan's regime but did nothing! Under PDP, Nigeria's infrastructure collapsed totally and they also laid the foundation for the insecurity ravaging the country today. Never again for PDP the clueless and corrupt party.
But this was the basis for sacking PDP and President Jonathan.
Now the ineptitude of APC is crying at the roof top. APC has been in charge for the past 7 years now with no tangible results, even the little progress we made under PDP was lost.
Guy, you have no moral to call out PDP, you be too ashamed.

Politics / Re: Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Northern Govs Greek gift to Tinubu - Babachir Lawal by Lifestone(m): 11:51pm On Jul 12
LegendHero:
Well written Babachir Lawal. You made a lot of point but you failed to speak like a politician.

Politics is not a race of morality, it is a dicey game where numbers matter especially in an ethnically & religiously divisive country like Nigeria.

There is no way in hell that Asiwaju will pick a Northern Christian. His loss will be one of the greatest in electoral history if he had made that blunder.

When Atiku picked the PDP ticket, I expected this kind of uproar from you guys but it’s sad that not a lot bothered. The question is why Tinubu?

I am proud of Tinubu because a man shouldn’t be influenced by his enemies in taking decision that can shape his destiny. If he fail next year at the polls, he will have no regret because he is daring and followed through with his best action plan. Infact not the best alone but the ONLY action plan.

But if he had succumbed to his political enemies and picked a Christian vice just because he’s scared of the naysayers, then he will never be peace with himself and will die by that regret.

Like you said Babachir, you can now go and vote for another candidate. It is a democracy, one man one vote.

You've missed the point here, the issue is why will Tinubu chose to be a President for Muslim? Even if he wins, his Presidency is tainted and he would mostly be distracted for the 4years. In instance of now, shouldn't we be analyzing his planned policies but here we are talking about religion. He caused it. I don't see how he will ever have rest again even if he wins the Presidency

But electing Peter Obi will not provide oxygen to IPOB abi. Most of Peter Obi supporters were once IPOB supporters so are we not giving oxygen to separationists by electing Peter Obi. We are providing oxygen to them. Is that what you really want? To have another civil war? Do you want IPOB to take over your house? How can you support an IPOB candidate?
So what's now the difference between BAT strategies and that of IPOB? To me, they are the same: DIVISIVE, it's sad that a brand like BAT could adopt such an approach. By his action, BAT has further divided this nation alone religious line that will take more than a generation to overcome. It means Tinubu is becoming a Muslim president. O ga o
Politics / Re: The Hypocrisy Over The Outcry Of Muslim-muslim Ticket by Lifestone(m): 6:11pm On Jul 12
For me Tinubu has demonstrated his inability to appreciate the peculiar nature of Nigeria as a Nation. The M/M ticket goes beyond electing leaders, it is about signals that it sends to Jihadist and those elements that are trying hard to divide Nigeria along religious lines. That decision has provided oxygen to keep religion cries burning. It is very sad.
Shettima was picked not for competent but for politics and let no one thinks anybody is happy with this. BAT intension is to secure the Presidency through the religion channel, again its sad very sad. Whether Tinubu wins this election or not, he has done severer damage to this Nation.
By the way I'm Yoruba

Liar? How? Has he lied under oath ? Wasn’t he, a non relative and stranger to the sick lady, trafficked into the UK by the senator to either (1) donate his kidney after being offered monetary incentives (2) Harvest his kidney without his knowledge??

How do you people not understand that you can’t offer money to organ donors? It is a crime!!

And according to UK laws, you have to be either be a relative or a close friend to the patient to enter the UK on a visa and donate organs?
Bro you are mixing things up. The Court have ruled that he lied to authority about his age, he can't escape that. The rest comes with more information and as the case progresses it will become clearer.
But it's strange that Ekweremadu as a Lawyer didn't familiarise himself with the law of UK before heading there. That may become very fatal
Politics / Re: David Ukpo not a minor, Court rules by Lifestone(m): 2:48pm On Jul 07
But Ike is a disappointment as a Lawyer, he ought to have carefully reviewed the laws guiding organ donation in the UK before heading there. So sad. That the organ did not match is an oversight that is unpardonable with present day technology.
If these are quality of those at the Leadership of making laws for us in Nigeria, little surprise that we are were we are now.

The case won’t die. If this ruling stands, the only charge getting dropped would be the child trafficking charge. Offering to buy a human organ his a crime and we all no the boy didn’t voluntarily agree to donate his organ. It’s either he was paid (which is a crime) or you didn’t know he was trafficked to get his organ ( bigger crime). Whichever way, the criminal senator isn’t walking out of this case unscarred.
Once he has been found to be a liar, his evidences are completely useless and will be so destroyed by any smart lawyer

Financial inducement. Or u think the guy donated his vital organ out of love & compassion.
Most time they will argue that as part of evidence that they took good care of him. With a good lawyer, they will come out well, but they will need a lot of patience

Not surprised the guy is not a minor.
Nevertheless they still have serious charges to answer to under UK laws.
Like which one, the only other hurdle is to prove consent.
