Politics / Re: Igbo Traders In Kwara Protest High Taxation, Lock Shops by Lifestone(m): 1:06pm On Mar 24

Kwara state went after the high worth business owners which were mostly igbos
Nope, there lots of more successful Yoruba businesses in Kwara. Tuyil pharmaceutical Profit in a month is more than what the entire businesses of Igbos in Kwara State profit combined. This is aside from companies like Kam wire, Peace pharmaceutical etc. These Yoruba businesses got their Tax assessment, negotiated with the Tax authority and moved on. But the Developers said the won't pay except on their terms.
I hope they haven't caused problems for themselves already.

Just say Igbo Language is good and easy to learn.
Claiming it's the best in Nigeria brings tribalism into the thread, except that's what you want

Her body for you to just chose to “cuddle” with is crazy…. Your spending on her was never pre-agreed to be one with strings attached so keep it that way. You want to “cuddle” with her cos you’re sad about your business? and not because you’re both in an intimate relationship. What is a woman to you?
If you can’t continue what you’ve started without keeping your hands off her then end it all or formally propose love to her and be in a proper relationship. Women are valuable humans too!! Geeeeeezzzz
Having to explain this is crazy sad!!!
But he told her ahead. If she's not in for that why not decline the invitation. The only issue I have with the OP is sending her out that late without making arrangement for a dropoff can like Bolt or Uber.

Igbos are achievers and not like ur tribe that enjoy doing juju for for their tenants.

However,it takes an achiever to speak of his progress. U only get angry because of u are a liability onto yourself.

Shame!
Typical of an Igbo. Boastful.

U are too inferior.

Where in his comment did anyone mention tribe here.

Grow up and see issue from a humanistic point of views and not tribal.

His topic of this thread.
I think you should think before you type.
Igbos are too loud and boastful. Do you know how many people brought produce for storage, certainly not only Igbo.
That's my point to him.
Igbos in Kwara State have shut their stores to punish their customers because government is asking them to pay tax. Such attitudes as these brings resentment to a people. Nsogbu, Nsogbu Everytime.

How can you steal the elections and the future of the people of Nigeria and expect these things not to happen? There will be no country called Nigeria until the will of the people prevail.

From Kogi governorship elections, Rivers Presidential elections....every single elections were compromised for the highest bidder and you expect peace Jokers.
Including Abia and Bauchi States

Honestly, we have terrible and shameless leaders in Nigeria, sometimes I'm ashamed to be called a Nigerian.
Return your citizenship. The reforms that's going on is long overdue. This market is an intervention to alleviate the pains of the reforms. Someone said Government should invest in Agriculture, yes, but what will people eat before the next harvest season?
All State government should emulate this. Investment, input supplies and incentives should continue in the Agriculture sector like the Niger state government is doing now and in a year to come things will get better

The young Nigerians, Richard Ogunderu was 19, Kabir Adenuga was 18, Benneth Oluwadaisi was 20 & Kenny Rasaq Lawal 19.”

They all unassumingly boarded the flight at MMA alongside other passengers.

About 16mins before landing, they waited until the pilot announced that passengers should fasten their seat belts and prepare for landing. Next thing the passengers heard was:

“Ladies and gentlemen, this plane has been taken over by the Movement for the Advancement of Democracy. Remain calm, we will not harm you. You will be told where the plane will land you. You do not move or you die”.
Yet you Igbos will come online and claim Yorubas are cowards. Yorubas are brave and courageous. We were all proud of these young Men then. Remember no life was lost.

He buys and stored which one did u store ? How is it the same market?
I laugh when you guys talk like this. Have you ever been to Kano grains market? My people, Yoruba will say if you haven't been to another person father's farm you will be bragging about that your father's farm is the biggest. If people open their warehouse for you in Saki, Oyo State, the guy will close his mouth in shock.
Problems with Igbos is that they brag too much. it has always been so, it's in their DNA

There is no way an illegal unapproved structures in their hundreds will get to completion stage if they weren't approved by authorities.

You haven't answer my question. Where are the approvals.

Look how you are disgracing yourself.
Dear Illiterate, the houseswho approved the construction of the houses in the first place because they are not being demolished as illegal structures but approved structured which were found to be situated on reclaimed waterways.
Stop disgracing yourself.
That makes them illegal structures !

This is madness. Who approved the buildings in the first place.
Tokunbo wahab is doing too much and causing people pain in Lagos lately.
Yes lots of building are sitting on waterways but who approved them for the developers.
Those responsible should be made to go through what innocent tenants and house owners are going through.
It's a criminal act as no official will get away for approving a building sitting on waterways in sane climes.
It's practically impossible for those house owner to get justice or compensation.
Lagos has consistently asked for valid papers , approval. Tell them to provide one

mrvitalis:

Nothing happened, just a project done without business environment study

Nigerians are too poor for such project, the percentage of Nigerians that can patronize such business are too small and widely spread to make such business a success

Is like building a 5 star hotel in say Osun or ebonyi or sokoto village and asking what killed it

Nigerians like shinny projects and don't care about their viability

Cocoa house, Buhari rail lines, Lagos blue and red lines, most state airports... Same rubbish Otti wants to build in Abia

Nigerians need to go and watch 2019 Osibanjo vs Peter obi debate again... That was were obi won me over

You don't develop by building infrastructure, malls, rail system etc

You develop by investing in your people access to credit, building basic needed infrastructure like few roads, hospitals and schools

Once the population is rich enough infrastructure would naturally come up

If Nigerians GDP per capita was $15k n above tinapa won't fail, in fact we would have 50 more
This your thought is very ridiculous. Do you know the nos of Nigerians tourists travelling to Dubai daily aside from USA, Europe and Asia. So a film village won't be useful too.
You saying Nigerian should be rich before fixing infrastructure is very absurd.
May people like you never get to leadership with this your philosophy
