Sezua:I had one some time ago. The was given an opportunity to recruit a replacement for myself since my time almost up... I searched until I found a graduate with a 2.1 and that was all he had to offer while the job requires a graduate who could drive... They guy said he could drive automatic. I told him sorry... If I saw another with a pass and could drive, I'd rather pick him. Funny enough it was at nysc camp... I said to him, look around... Everyone here is a graduate and their certificates would be enough for camp fire... So, it's not about certificate and certifications.... What can u do? The present job I'm doing, I got an edge cos I could drive because companies are cutting cost and can't afford to have a driver and a graduate in their employ.... |
It's not enough to be a graduate! Graduate na name jareh... What can u offer? Have u improved yourself? What skill do u have? Can u drive? Abi Na certificate u had dey call ur self graduate? Graduate us overrated in Nigeria. For them to offer u 18k is what the employer feels you are worth.. Meanwhile, u could pick it up while u improve your self and have a higher offer once the economy bounces back... |
I want to acquire Zimbabwean passport Seems it has more value. By the time buhari finishes with Nigeria, Nigerians will seek asylum in Somalia. Baba wetin we do you? We Are not a war torn country but all the indices are pointing to the fact that we live in a failed state with a president who failed maths and economics but passed Arabic. When the United nations released a report that the worst place to he born in 2015 was Nigeria I thought it was a joke... Today... It's pointing to that fact... |
When tinubu oando was posting losses because the used the money to fund buhari's campaign. |
Ok |
sukkot:An unrepentant zombie most likely from the southwest just typed this trash. Living in self denial is the worst thing that could happen to a man. Repent o ye zombies! |

The long and short of the matter is the guy is confused. The economy has grown and gone beyond his control... He is still in a wow situation. Kudos to gej who managed the richest man in Africa, made Nigeria the 3rd fastest economy on the world and a darling to investors. Immediately bubus came, dangote started diversifying out of Nigeria building plants in Cameron, Zambia, Mali because bubu might just come for him over import waivers granted him because bubu is very vindictive and any successful man around him must be kwurrupt. He isolated the igbos who hold sway when it comes to industry and smes, let's see how far he goes.... He wants to bomb to submission the part that lays the golden egg and expect to get the golden eggs from the dead goose.... That's brainless! |
Naughtysite:Seems you've not been inside a banking hall lately. Banks are virtually empty, a shadow of its former self |
july66:Must u quote the whole body? Haba! |
Banks would soon go under. Buhari is to be blamed. The biggest spender used to be government and the largest depositor used to be banks. But with the immediate implementation of the treasury single account suffocated banks with the attendant fines imposed on banks on the name of 'a new sherifat is in town' The devaluation abi floating of the currency by this government made the banks take huge losses since most of their debts were dominated in dollars and we're given to oil and construction companies. With oil market unstable because of the militants and this government not awarding any major contracts to big time construction firms, the loans are turning to bad debts. Less money in circulation means people have less to spend and just go to bank not to bank but to transfer to a relative or friend that is hungry on the other side who goes to withdraw immediately he receives alert.... So, how do banks survive? I have the answer but that's for another day or when asked |
kaorama:Where u being sarcastic or serious? |
Slonge2: |
donphilopus:Of course an earthquake shaking the economy, knocking off companies to the ground. Making families homeless and youths unemployed. Sure an earthquake he is |
siraj1402:What do u have to say today? |
I have been searching for that bubus picture browsing Facebook down side up
|
They came for the communist, I did nothing because I wasn't a communist. The came for the jew, I did nothing because I was not a jew.. They came for me and no one to help... First it was oshodi Now it's ikoyi. It's getting nearer home Enjoy the chanji |
mashnino:So sorry.... Forgot I mentioned you. The post not meant for u. |
mashnino:Wheat is imported from Asia and Europe. We only mill here. With dollar trading at 412,expect a spike not hike ooo I mean a spike. Before election, they said may God govern you the way gej was ruling Nigeria. Today, I repeat that prayer... May God govern you the way buhari is ruling this country. May you go into recession in your house... May polio come back to ravage you, may you buy bread @ 500 per loaf... Etc KARMA IS A B. ITCH |
More screen shots.

Nigerians from different works of life took to her Facebook page to beg her to help Nigeria revive the economy and vying it out of recession since it's crystal clear that the government of the day seems over burdened on the way to go. MutantMetahuman:E pain amm Pele |
MutantMetahuman:You people use the word corruption wrongly... What is corruption? Corruption is a deviation from normal behavior or prescribed rules... It's not about money which in most cases is extortion. What do u call it when a neighbor steals a neighbors ' pot of soup? Has it always been like this? One thing I like with the hardship in Nigeria is that the igbos dictate the price of what you buy and when and how you buy... You guys from the brown roof region lost it in all ramifications... Politically and economically hence, punchng.com has turned to a wailing news paper. Osun is a pointer to were the brown roof people are headed towards. We might have lost politically.. But not economically... U guys lost in two fronts... |
mecks15:Of course they are changing for the worse... Even innocent chickens are affected... Their meals are now rationed, a mudu of sugar now 600. What does this tell you? Back to the days of ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES... IF things don't change, you may have to queue to buy this same rice you are celebrating. |
To those up stairs hailing the propaganda government in place, this deal was done and sealed by the one the hate most... Gej... The exchange rate tells the fact @165 to a dollar. Nice development though... A leader sees ahead and plans. Buhari saving grace is the works of gej that are being manifested today... Eg the train station in kadunA, now the dangote rice... What's buhari achievement if not travelling without results |
Ok |
BBC is generalizing the problem.. Some businesses are thriving but most are suffering especially due to the inflation. BBC was part of the group that put this government on us bu their skewed reportage against the government of then Goodluck Jonathan. Now they are forming wailers too |
Gmekx:Nigeria needs oil to sell at $100 to break even. Secondly, what is the quantity being exported? Either way, we are doomed. Buhari should realise we are living in a post oil era. Oil just like palm oil started the industrial revolution is being phased out..... Human capital is what Nigeria should work on. Forget oil. The demand for forex is more than supply. What we have can take us almost to December after being all accumulated deficits to air line companies, foreign investors who wish to repatriate their monies, Nigerian import bills etc... The long and short of it is that Nigeria is on red! |
This visits are about the economy I think... The government is broke and buhari is seeking advice whether to borrow from Islamic bank or not and what would be the backlash form southern Christians against any form of Islamic bank loan. Noticed the president of the Islamic development bank paid a visit recently? Remember El rufai outburst against the cbn interest rates and the infamous quote of "we would have to legislate against it...... ". A major decision is about being made. But the whole truth is that baba I'd confused about the economy... He doesn't understand what is gdp, gnp, demand and supply, etc. |
Gmekx:Nigeria will mostly run to imf for a bailout before it's too late... He needs to borrow huge sums... |
This movie apc started, they don't know how to end it. Look at the coincidence Shekau puts up a video that the girls are being bombed, bbog goes on a protest accusing the president of doing nothing... Naf jets bombs some mud houses without clear pictures telling us the boss is fatally injured. I pity oby who was not among the cast but found her way into the movie... She can't back out because the audience like her performance and she is now a celeb by accident. |
An economy in recession instead of fixing it the president wants a law for more powers to be divulged to him while most reasonable Nigerians are asking that power be decentralised. A repeat of 1984 essential commodities is looming when soldiers would be sent to the markets to enforce prices of goods. Let's say you buy rice at 20k, the army would force u to sell at 11k. This his policy sent companies like leventis underground to this day and many others had to pull out of Nigeria. He should seek for help... This stubborn man will never.... He is too proud to be a president. A president who has never visited the economic capital of Nigeria in two years doesn't care about the economy. Who has seen bubu in Lagos? And he has no intentions of going there.... He is holed up in Abuja by the cabal telling him he would be assassinated if he leaves Abuja. But has been to kadunA and katsina, zamfara and you think this man cares about the economy? A flourishing economy has now turned to an eyesore in less than 2 years.... The worst is folks can't feed! |
