I was wondering who is Peter Obi’s major handler and administrative supporter, until someone revealed to me that it was Professor Pat Utomi.

Professor Pat Utomi, one of the best brains to have come out from Africa, was the first person I ever voluntarily worked for as a Presidential Candidate in 2011 through the Utomi Volunteers. Today he has dropped that ambition to stand behind Peter Obi.

Utomi co-founded the Lagos Business School, now Pan African University in 1993 with the Opus Dei, a Catholic religious group.

He created the iconic LBS monthly executive briefing breakfast and hosted it for its first 10 years, and inspired the founding of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Studies of LBS (now EDC) after a 1996 visit to the Sole C Snyder Centre at Wharton, in Philadelphia.

He has studied and written about the Political economy of growth in Latin America and Asia, particularly Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India and Hong Kong, countries in which he is much traveled.

He is the founder of Business Day newspaper ,the famous Patito’s gang and former chairman of Habib bank , Vice chairman of platinum bank.

Imagine Professor Pat Utomi as Chief of Staff to a Mr. Peter Obi Presidency with the likes of Kingsley Moghalu , Lamido Sanusi, Arumeh Oteh forming the cabinet.
