Just a week plus here, I know the difference between a first world country and a third world shithole.

about the experience, i have been teaching since 2011. It was just last year that i resigned to take care of my ailing parents. I remember asking for help here but many people ridiculed me and called me a fake arse. Thank God both of them are hale and hearty now and they both blessed me 4 all my sacrifices towards them.
My advice, if u have the opportunity to offer help to someone on nairaland, pls do it. Not all pple here are faking it. I will do my own giveaway when i get my first full salary to the first 5 people that will quote this my comment. IT'S A PROMISE.

As in different programming languages abi frameworks? Even frameworks no reach that number.

The story was interesting until he got to the part where he learned full stack plus DevOps in 5 months!!!! .

I have heard it several times, when someone says that I am a proud person.

Nigerians expects me to always do their will or to behave the way they want. When they tried to use me wrongly, I always resist them.

I once live in a building where the landlady put the whole compound in darkness for 41 days because one woman has not paid her light bill for the last four months.

I told the son of the landlady that, do not near my gate over new light bills. You and your mother will have to pay NEPA their bills since you people decide to put everyone in darkness because of one person. He just kept looking at me as arrogant. How can a person asked me to pay money on light while living in darkness?

Everyone paid her 16k, she said one person has not paid, so the compound must be in darkness

One day, I told the landlady, why are you people eating the light bill? She hated me for this even though it was true.

I once work for someone I newly know. We agreed to a certain amouth of 11K. After I finished the work, he tried to shot pay me 5k, I plainly told him, you must pay my money in full, which he did. He began to see me as a bad person and look for ways to attack me.

Two of my sisters once told me, I am a proud guy. Because I told them to their face that, their constant lieing will ruin them. Why will a person keep lieing to you in all levels of life and wants you to give into their lies?

A friend of mine has been telling people that I am a proud guy. Why? because he wants to be using me to do all his will. When people tried to manipulate me to please them and do their will, I will resist them. Then they says that I am a proud guy.

My only reply to them is, you won turn me to mumu abi?

I have always tried to do what is right and not try to foolishly please men. I do my work deligently, even my work bosses always praise my humility and honesty.

I always speak my mind without fearing anyone and I always succeed in what I do. I also like to learn from others.

I burst into FullStack development in 2019. Although I have about 10 years experience as a Wordpress website designer. Since then I have honed my skills and can comfortably take a job as a FullStack developer or a more specialized role as a Frontend or Backend developer.

The thing is my brother relocated to UK late last year with his family. Since then he has been trying to encourage me to relocate that my skills is in high demand. Besides, he tried to compare me with some of the guys working in the same field there that I have better skill than them.

Now the main issue is that I'm not keen yet on relocating. Personally I felt that there are so much problems in all sectors of the economy and the society in Nigeria and Africa as a whole which opens a lot of opportunities for developers. Besides, Nigeria is also becoming a destination of investment opportunities for startups. My first target now is to tap into these opportunities.

Recently, I signed a contract worth over N11million for the expansion of my first project. And I expect more of such expansion to still take place. By my calculation if one product could generate already about N17million from one client, there is no telling what will happen when I officially roll it out in the market. I'm also working on a couple of other software to address other business and societal need which will require my presence in Nigeria to make it work.

If I succumb to the pressure from my brother, I could abandoned some of these projects especially the ones in the pipeline.

I know if I set my mind on it I can easily get sponsored for relocation with my level of skills. But I'm not sure if that will be a great move at this point in time. I have never really like to be employed. I like to be my own boss and possibly employ others.

Now I have two options, established a startup here in Nigeria and if time permits work remotely or relocate to work in a company for around £45000 - £75000 per annum.

How will you approach this.

One of my friend bought crypto worth 20 million naira last year September (Bitcoin, Ethereum,Bnb and some other shitcoins)

Now he tells me the portfolio is worth less than 2 million naira

Now if he had bought land or a small building with that 20 million,The land would have appreciated same with the building.

Hahaha you can't see everything on Google bros trust me. If everything was available on Google people would have been getting faang jobs left right and center. Even the online assessment it's hard to cheat. You wont find answers to questions you are given anywhere online.
