Politics › Will CNG Destroy Dangote's Dreams? by LikeAking(op): 3:22pm On Jun 22, 2023 |
The CNG energy narrative is trending all over Nigeria. FG is talking about it, Gov Obaseki and various prominent Nigerians are championing it. Innoson vehicle have built some CNG powered veic Most Nigerians can't wait to try this cheaper underdog energy solution.
In some quarters CNG is sold for 110 per cms, which is equal to a litter of fuel, sold at a higher price of 510 - 520 naira per litter.
The higher price of petrol (510 - 520 naira per litter ) championed by President Tinubu government, has granted poverty more contitutional rights/mandate to apprehended and continue to detian more than 80 percent of Nigerians in abject poverty and incurable hyper inflation of prices of goods and services.
On the other hand, the rich fuel/disel marchants, business men, captians of industries, etc have all been empowered by President Tinubus Administration with more powers to continue the , fleecing, skining and eating the Nigerian masses with capitalist/monopolistic armed robbery prices and tactics.
Nigerians have to survive : "Them no they give any body award to use fuel and disel".
Judging by how smart Nigerians are when it comes to survival and managerial economics and how we react to situations like this, there may be a mass exeduos from PMS to CNG very soon.
Nigerians may soon dump PMS for CNG, which is a much cheaper and cleaner alternative to PMS. The Aftermath of this PMS divorce will be very disastrous for Africa's richest man, Alh Dangote. On the other hand it will be a huge financial victory for milions of Nigerians.
CNG is a great solution, why have Nigerians ignored it for so long? That's a discussion for another day.
Dangote's mega dreams of selling 650,000 barrels of petrol per day from his $20 billion dollar refinary with huge profits, may be one of his dreams that will never ever come a reality.
It may be be one of the biggest business disasters of our time.
What's your take?

Charismatic107: I quite agree with you to some extent about reducing the pressure on dollar, but floating the naira would encourage diversification of the economy and help build a more sustainable and resilient economic structure. That's on theory... Check the reality on ground, it's very dangerous.. $1 = 820 naira. |
Politics › Re: FG Pledges More Dollar Supply To Stabilise Naira by LikeAking: 11:28am On Jun 22, 2023 |
Iykopee: When you decide to float the naira without deep economic afterthought, this is what you get.
Untill we start producing that which we consume, there is no way out of this mess. The main problem is looting and miss management not production. Many Arab countries produce lesser than Nigeria, but they manage their economy very well and they don't loot like Nigeria.. Even if we become a manufacturing power house, the presence of corruption will still make the Naira worthless. |

It will start to gradually decline once Tinubu revitalizes all productive sectors for exports. Couple with the fact that Tinubu's government is working towards creating an enabling environment for foreign investors of which so far the likes of Bill Gate and others have shown interest. So far so good. Be logical... Naso e go dey fluctuate go to 5k. |

Politics › Re: Why I Hate White Garment Churches – Pastor David Ibiyeomie by LikeAking: 7:19pm On Jun 21, 2023 |
Didijiji: Why do Pentecostal churches speak ill of white garment churches?
I am forced to ask this question with the trending news today where Pastor David Ibiyeomie said he hates white garment churches and how they used “DEMONIC PSALMS” to make enchantments and make someone become a drunkard.
While it is important to respect senior pastors and their grace, it is equally important that the fathers of faith be made to realize they are human and not some form of God or Angel
The society we live in is plagued by many vices with influences across religion, tribe, race, denomination, sex , geolocation and all. Good and bad people exist in churches be it Catholic, Pentecostal, Anglican, white garment etc.
Singling out the white garment brethren always doesn’t speak well of you. It confirms there is a grudge because you were once a strong member. WHO MADE YOU THEIR GOD OR JUDGE?
Funny enough, you worshipped in a white garment church for several years. Your name then was Akanebo Ibiyeomie, Cherubim church in Port harcourt 115 Aggrey road. You remember Prophet Zekala the dada man, Prophet Chukwunda, Prophet Ajaero and other great prophets that mentored you. Your brother Derefoma Akanebo was also a prophet while you did more of the prayers.
More stories are on their way out so that you be guided how you insult a church on whose altar you prayed for years. Can your history be complete without the white garment church story?
Some orthodox and white garment churches were founded as far back as 1900 -1929. When did the Pentecostal churches start? Does it mean our fathers and grand fathers that worshipped in the old white garment and orthodox churches are seated in hell? Is God unjust?
The beauty of the end we all share is we all will stand before the judgement throne of God. And guess what? There won’t be any VIP queue or any of the altar and body guards.
There are good and bad pastors. There are good and bad prophets. There are good and bad bishops. Always treating the white garment churches as if nothing Godly and good exists in their churches is not Christ-like.
All the yahoo boys, hook up girls, abortionists all attend white garment churches right? You will be shocked they are more in the Pentecostal fold!
Most bank frauds that I know about have been perpetuated by even Pentecostal pastors, Ponzi yahoo schemes also, but you won’t hear because all the Pentecostal churches project to the world is the good side of their activities. I also know of a story of an RCCG father, mother and child that steal from the offering box every sunday till they were caught. An RCCG pastor told me this
What if white garment pastors start using these bad occurrences in the Pentecostal churches to preach on television?
All failed prophecies on this election were mostly by Pentecostal pastors New year false prophecies are by them. The list is endless but no one talks.
It is pertinent to state that the founder of the RCCG, Pa Josiah Akindayomi worshipped in Cherubim for several years. So it is safe to say RCCG has white garment foundation. Some of the doctrines still continued. For eg, RCCG has mother in Israel like Cherubim.
Jesus Christ taught us love as stated in Eph 4:15.
The hate and stigma on white garment churches have become too much and MUST STOP forthwith.
Whilst there are bad white garment churches, there are good ones. Whilst there are bad Pentecostal churches, there are good ones.
Serve your God and let them be. Your doctrine is never superior and you are not their god
Stop using them to shine with your audience jeering you on—- RIDE ON PASTOR
You can’t hear other religions talk bad about their various sects but this always happens in Christianity
LET GOD BE THE JUDGE Most pastors of big churches all have Cherubim background, including pastor Ibiyomie... If don't know, now you know nigga.. |
