An Explosion rocked a 1000 housing estate in Maiduguri, Borno State in the early hours of Saturday, 4th of December.

The Estate Residents are of the belief that the explosion was triggered by Boko Haram members thereby causing unrest in the Estate.

The Nigeria Police Force, Kaduna Command has confirmed that over 20 persons have been kidnapped by Bandits in Unguwan Gimbiya in Sabon Tasha, Chikun LGA of Kaduna State.

Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna Police Command’s Spokesperson disclosed this to Channels Tv and further explained that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 3rd of December.

Three suspected kidnappers in Ogun State on the 9th of November were arrested while trying to collect ransom for their kidnapped victims.

Spokesperson of Ogun State Police Command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi gave the names of the suspects to be Abubakar Sodiq m’ 26yrs, Ibrahim Kuaki m’ 24 yrs and Muhammadu Dio m’ 22 yrs and disclosed that they were arrested after there was a report at Ilupeju divisional headquarters that two men, who had gone to work at Abule Oba Alamala along Ayetoro road were kidnapped by some gunmen.
