Deyjah, daughter of popular US rapper T.I got emotional as she spoke out about how she felt when she found out her father disclosed to the world how he ensures her hymen is still intact, every year.

In 2019, the rapper had revealed in an interview how he takes her teen daughter for a yearly checkup to a gynecologist to ensure she has not been sexually active.

According to reports, the eyebrow-raising interview took place in November 2019, and now the upcoming episode of the family drama will show how the family handled it behind the scenes. The preview of the upcoming episode shows Deyjah being completely mortified to hear her father’s comments.

World Bank has said that the swift and massive shock of the coronavirus pandemic and shutdown measures to contain it have plunged the global economy into a severe contraction.

According to World Bank forecasts, the global economy will shrink by 5.2 per cent this year. That would represent the deepest recession since the Second World War, with the largest fraction of economies experiencing declines in per capital output since 1870, the World Bank says in its June 2020 Global Economic Prospects.

Economic activity among advanced economies is anticipated to shrink 7 per cent in 2020 as domestic demand and supply, trade, and finance have been severely disrupted. Emerging market and developing economies (EMDEs) are expected to shrink by 2.5 per cent this year, their first contraction as a group in at least sixty years. Per capita incomes are expected to decline by 3.6
per cent which will tip millions of people into extreme poverty this year.

The blow is hitting hardest in countries where the pandemic has been the most severe and where there is heavy reliance on global trade, tourism, commodity exports, and external financing. While the magnitude of disruption will vary from region to region, all EMDEs have vulnerabilities that are
magnified by external shocks. Moreover, interruptions in schooling and primary healthcare access are likely to have lasting impacts on human capital development.

Nigeria has officially relaxed its policy, which previously controlled and set the price of petrol with the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency’s, (PPPRA) removal of the cap on the price of the
commodity, giving traders and retailers the freedom to control and set the price.

The PPPRA, in a document released Thursday titled, ‘Market Based Pricing Regime for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) Regulations, 2020,’ said the price of petrol will be wholly determined by the markets.
Executive Secretary, Mr. Abdulkadir Saidu of the agency however said it would continue to monitor the international crude oil market monthly and advise the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and oil marketers on the monthly guiding price for the commodity.

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Sections 7 and 24 at the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (Establishment) Act. No. 8 of 2003, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (The Agency), with the approval of the President hereby makes the following Regulation:

“Short title: Market Based Pricing Regime for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) using the Pricing Template of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency.

“The price cap per liter in respect of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) is removed from the commencement of these Regulations. From the commencement of these Regulations, a market-based pricing regime for Premium Motor Saint (PMS) shall take effect.

“The Agency shall monitor market trends and advise the NNPC and oil marketing companies on the monthly guiding Market-Based Price.

“The price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) advised by the Agency shall be guiding retail price at which the product shall be sold across the country.

“This regulation may be cited as the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) Market Based Pricing Regime Regulations, 2020, made this 20th day of March 2020.”

The PPPRA, in the explanatory note to the regulation, disclosed that the Regulations seek to complement and enforce the provisions of the PPPRA (Establishment) Act 2003 and to notify the general
public of the existence of a Market-based Pricing Regime for PMS with effect from March 2020.

With the encouragement from the #me too movement which took the United States by storm and even sent some powerful Hollywood big boys to jail, many Nigerian ladies who were allegedly sexually abused many years ago are now finding their voices

Their current victims are from the Nollywood and music industry. They include Lancelot Imaseun, Uti Nwachukwu and Music Icon, Dbanj.

Veteran director, Lancelot Imasuen, the director of Invasion 1897 is the latest to be accused of such as calls for the protection of girls and women from sexual harassment and brutality gain traction in the social media.

His accuser, Sylvia Oluchi, accused him of groping her during a film shoot in 2008. She stated this in a whatsApp group chat, filmic.
Sylvia wrote:

“When we were filming Bent Arrows back in 2008 in Abuja. You told me to come to your room in the hotel after shoot at night (we were all camped in the same hotel). You made some moves, when I refused, you physically pinned me to the bed and shoved your tongue down my mouth while squeezing my boobs.”

She also stated that her tears forced the veteran director to change his mind. The actress also confirmed the accusation in a telephone conversation, stating that she was not the only one as others too have suffered similar fate.

Reacting to the allegation, Imasuen said he would not comment openly on the matter.

“It is still a private matter so I am not in a position to make a statement. The group chat where the accusation was made is a private one and the group’s admins have set up a committee to investigate the allegation.

“So, while I am surprised as anybody else-it is from 13 years ago, I have been advised to be quiet. It is an industry thing for now and cannot be made public.”

A lady, who identified herself as Seyi also gave details of how popular singer, Dbanj, allegedly raped her. She stated this in a series of tweets accusing Dbanj of raping her two years ago saying she decided to call the artiste out when she saw him advocating against rape.

She wrote:

“I was invited for an all white party at Eko Atlantic (splash off) which was an all night party on the 30th of December 2018, by franklin, Dbanj ex manager at that time and I went with my friend then
named Laide.

“When I got to the party I met a girl at the party named Oyin, who was with a guy who happens to be Dbanj’s friend. She asked who I came with I told her the person I came with already left.

“When I was leaving Oyin and I exchanged number and she asked where I was lodged I told her Glee hotel in VI, and she said it was the same hotel she was lodged and I asked her if she could drop me off she said that wasn’t a problem.

“On getting to the hotel, Oyin called me when I got to my room and told me dbanj saw me at the party and he wanted to be with me for the night and I was offered a sum of money but i bluntly refused
because I wasn’t interested.

“So I slept off within 5/6am and pls note (I’m a naked sleeper) and woke up and found Dbanj in my room already and I asked him what he was doing in my room he didn’t say a word and *asked if I was a baby* and started fingering me.

The last but not the least is Nollywood actor and winner of Big Brother Africa Season 5 reality TV show, Uti Nwachukwu.
His accuser, who goes by the name Kambili Korie, took to Twitter to make claims that the media personality raped her in August 2017. she shared a screenshot of a message from a user saved with the name “Uti 2” apologizing for forcefully having his way with her. She also accused Nwachukwu of being a bisexual. She said “Uti is a violent and forceful person by nature.

“What he did to me, however, took me by surprise as he always smiled at me like he meant well.

“ Uti is a bisexual. He treats his guys with more respect but he’s more into women.

However, Uti took to his Instagram account on Thursday to address the issue stating that the accuser should step forward, show her identity, and equally report the case to the authorities within 3 days.
He further promised to foot the fees the person incurs in reporting the alleged crime.

According to him, if after 3 days, the person doesn’t take action, he will act. He said

“I reject this characterization and deny these baseless allegations in the strongest way possible.

“Furthermore, I am urging this faceless victim to report this purported crime to the nearest police station.

“I am willing to say for all the fees you incur in reporting this alleged crime.

“If after three days you fail to disclose yourself or report the crime, I shall proceed to report the case and the blog and other internet hosts must spread this fake news to the Inspector General of police for cyber terrorism and libel.”

He also revealed that it was doctored as he showed apps that can be used by scammers to carry out such crimes on Android phones.

President Muhammadu Buhari is on the verge of appointing a replacement for Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, according to presidency sources.

Magu has been on the job in acting capacity since November 9, 2015, following the 8th Senate’s rejection of his nomination. The President will not re-nominate him for the post. The sources, who asked not be identified, said the President has vetted a retired Deputy Inspector- General of Police, Mohammed Sani Usman and Diseye Nsirim-Poweigba, a former police commissioner in Niger State, who retired from service in 2014 for the position.

Mr. Usman, a native of Bauchi State, represented the North East and held the position of DIG in charge of Training and Development before his forced retirement in 2019, following the appointment of then AIG Muhammed Abubakar Adamu, his junior, as Inspector-General of Police.

Ms. Nsirim-Poweigba, a native of Bayelsa State, ran unsuccessfully for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019. The President will send his eventual nominee to the Senate for approval as required by law.

A 20-page autopsy report released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has revealed that George Floyd who died after some Minneapolis police officers knelt on his neck, tested positive for Coronavirus in April.

The autopsy report came with the family’s permission and it was released after the coroner’s office released summary findings which affirmed that Floyd had a heart attack while being restrained by officers. George Floyd's death has now been classified as a homicide.

TMZ reported that the Coroner said;

"Positivity for 2019-nCoV can persist for weeks after the onset and resolution of clinical disease, the autopsy result most likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent PCR positivity from previous infection."

This meant the deceased was likely walking around without issues or active symptoms, but the virus was still in his body. The final report from Hennepin on Wednesday says Floyd had “no injuries of anterior muscles of neck or laryngeal structures.”

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison on Wednesday June 3, upgraded charges against Chauvin to 2nd-degree murder and also charged the three other officers on the scene with aiding and abetting.

Floyd family attorney, Ben Crump had earlier decried the official autopsy as described in the original complaint against Chauvin, for ruling out asphyxia. An autopsy commissioned by the Floyd family concluded that he died of asphyxiation due to neck and back compression.
