physical brps are ending Dec 31, 2024 that is why. Everything will be digital after that date. Spouse would use dates according to your CAS end date.

Yes they are stopping hard copy BRP and moving everything online

Your dependants end date should be the end date on your CAS 2027.

There's nothing to correct this is not an error

I did not get a BRP letter before coming. I even requested and did not get any. But when I came in and collected the BRP card, I saw 2024 as the end of validity that is why I was confused on what to do with regards to my spouse's IHS payment.

From the image, there isn’t a problem with the date on your brp.

For your dependent, I think he should use your CAS date. All of my dependents and everyone I know used their various CAS date.

You should use the end date of your course, that was what I used. As for your brp, that's normal.

This was what I found online. It seems there is nothing wrong with the BRP date they gave me. My question is: Should my spouse use this date when applying and paying for IHS or use the CAS date (2027) that I used during my application?

Hi Nairalanders, I have a question. I am on a student visa (PhD) which ends in 2027 (CAS date). However, my BRP states that my resident permit is valid until December 2024. I heard it is because of the UK Gov intending move to switch to digital BRP (not certain though). My problem now is my dependent. He will soon apply for visa and on the IHS page, there is a question "What is their visa expiration date?" Should he use the date on my BRP (2024) or the CAS date (2027). Your advises/experiences is highly appreciated.

That's Dr. Chinenye Nwabueze. The Best COOU Lecturer. He taught me Mass communication 101 and 102. He was the only lecturer that was innovation and practical. Imagine submitting assignments via email and thinking critically during test without writing text book answers. He is a rare Gem, so zealous and with no favouritism. God bless you Sir!
