This thread is for us to sharing our past experiences that helped build our faith in God.
It has been observed that those that had past concrete spiritual experiences (whether with GOD or Satan) tend to be tenaciously faithful in their adherence to holy Christian values. And their Faith in JESUS Christ remains rigidly resolute and unshakable in the face of worst life shattering storms and trials that got others running to satan for help. Many are times that some of I and my not-too-grounded Christian friends jointly fasted and prayed for a particular thing, and yet we never got the thing. The "unanswered" prayers (so to say) waters down my friends' Faith, so, they end up asking me why I always have a strongly unshakable love and Faith in God. This made me to realize that my past spiritual experiences play key role in this. How could I deny that Satan and demons exist when I've really encountered them those days when I was not bornagain? How could I deny that JESUS Christ is LORD over all? After several experiences of HIM warning me, and I reluctantly obeyed, but later saw the evil that would have happened. I'll share the negative ones first:

My roommate and I gisted till around 1:55AM and we decided to go and enjoy the rest of the night in our friends place. We passed a bush path and suddenly saw very tiny small humanoid creatures dancing around fire making strange noise. He looked at me in shock and asked "what are these?!" I repeated same to him and we fled with lighting speed. We almost beat down the door of our friends' house till they opened. But we couldn't tell them what we saw that night for fear of those things appearing. This made me to know that demons are real, and they are of various types. Till date, I would have taken the experience as an hallucination if not that we were 2 that witnessed it.

Someone discussed with me that she wants to spoil the beauty of a very beautiful girl with satanic power. She prepared the whole diabolical things, I watched as I was learning the process, and went to bury it. I was extremely shocked when I saw the attacked lady few days later with smelly pose huzzing out of sores all over her body. I realized that jazz dey o! But ALMIGHTY JESUS YAHSHA HaMAshiach has Supreme Eternal Authority over every other authorities. So, if you are holy and deep is Christ, you are very safe. Evil targeted at you shall always backfire on the sender.

When I was in SS 3, I was in a click of 5 guys. We were the big boys of my school then. There was one fair very beautiful girl in our class. One of us went to woo her. By the next day the beautiful fair girl came to visit my guy and they copulated. In few days time, they had a bitter quarreled and moved on. Another of our click went for her. She agreed to date him and the had s*x. The 2nd guy then came to tell us that our other friend "is a liar", that how could he say he slept with a girl that he has just newly deflowered. This led to serious fight among five of us because the first guy said he was the one that deflowered her, while the 2nd guy said he was, with blood on the bed as evidence. By then the girl has already quarreled and parted ways with the 2nd guy too. Being a very beautiful guy and maybe out of curiosity, a 3rd guy from our group went after this same very beautiful girl. ***to be continued***

If you want a peace of mind.. the best thing to do is forgive and move on.. cause if you hold on to that.. it doesn't let you move on . The pains is always there to pull you back.. you can forgive someone and not have anything to do with them anymore .. just for the sake of moving on.. if you can't trust the person

I have a 17 years old maid who would be 18 in June. She came when she was 12 and she is like family now. She is in SS1. My problem is her issues with boys. Always keeping boyfriends of which I discourage her big time. Had to ask her why she keeps them, she said because her classmates/ friends have boyfriends.

I have screamed and threatened but she will still keep. What am I doing wrong? Should I allow her just keep them? I teach her sex education though but she says she isn't sexually active. Today, I saw the picture she and the guy posted on facebook holding each other. I lost it today. I flogged and punished her. I'm I being too hard? How do I help her? We wanted to help her till university days but with these, we are scared and reconsidering sending her back after ss3.

How best do I handle this situation.

Please if you wanna be a good person to her, send her home at this early stage and then train her from her parents house if you really wanna help her life, because it's just gonna keep getting worse.. except if you are ready for whatever may come later.. she might not be active now, buh she's definitely planning so hard to be, reason.. she listens to her peer group, instead of respecting you her guardian.. so please take her home for things not to go beyond your controls..

There was this bible story i read sometime ago, about a lady "Sarah", and a guy "Tobit", who got married after so many years of demonic attacks from the side of the lady, she has been married to many guys but all died at their wedding night, because there was a demon tormenting and taking the lives of her newly wedded husbands, and none of them cared to know why it's happening and ask God for assistance. It happened that this particular man named Tobit conquered the demon through prayers with his new wife Sarah, it happened that they prayed on their wedding night instead of having sex.


Now the question here is, "what actually happens at wedding nights"?

You remember how it is when you give birth to a baby,and then you start to nurse the baby and probably teach the baby how to lie, crawl, stand, walk and then run.

Couples have always think that wedding night is for making love and deflowering their wife, and i wonder who told them that? Maybe it's now a culture, cause that's what most couples think of and can't wait to do after getting married, well it's a necessity but then can we just take some minutes to ponder over it?..

Why can't we just build a solid foundation in our marriages by setting some certain rules that we will follow through till the day we die, rather than having sex immediately, why not kneel down and pray like you've never done before with your partner, marriage they say is a life's journey and it needs a lot of grace to stand and not fall, so what has having sex got to do with this life's journey preparation?

You can have and rip each other apart for more than 50 years, so why not savoir the moment and pray and ask God for assistance, mercy, grace, understanding that no one on earth can give to you except God.

My point is not to condemn love making, no not at all, as a matter of fact, love making is the most essential part of every marriage and building up a family, but we have to take things easy, and start by praying the night right after your wedding, seek God first and cast the enemy (Satan) far far away before devouring each other.

I mean what's yours is yours right?

You have that night to glorify and thank God for a successful wedding and bringing you guys together, then ask for His mercy and grace to accomplish the mission He has chosen you guys for, marriage is not just for the fun of it, there's a lot more to it, building up a world from a little corner of the earth called family, that's where lawyers, doctors, presidents, engineers and so many others comes form, they don't just fall from the sky, so every couple have a role to play in this world by bringing up and training a whole nation from the little one God has given to them. And it's a sin not to train your kids in the fear of God.

After praying with your newly wedded wife, you should probably get some rest after an exhausting day so your head can rest too and refresh itself for a bigger planning, of course you have to go on a honeymoon, not for the sexual thrills but for the purpose of having an alone time without distractions, to be able to make one or two plans for the future with your wife, you have to talk about finances, when and how to make babies, yes you don't just start making babies right after you are married, you need to plan your family "family planning", know the strategy and how to bring them up, you have to make sure you and your spouse reach an agreement on how to handle your family so it doesn't come up as a misunderstanding later in the future, after all they say "a well planned war is already won". so if you really want to win and survive this war called marriage and turn it to a victory, then definitely you have to lay a strong foundation with prayers and then build upon it a solid sky scraper that'll contain the world you are about to build for generations.



As we always have it.. You can't steal from your own pot of soup. What's yours is yours.

The Zamfara State Police Command on Monday arrested four suspected kidnappers in Dankadon-Daji village in Talata-Mafara Local Government Area of the state.

This was disclosed by the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police in Gusau.

Embrinson said the suspects were arrested on February 18 after intelligence report disclosed that the kidnappers had sent letters to individuals threatening to kidnap the villagers if they failed to make money available for them.

“The police arrested the suspects while trying to collect a sum of N39,500 provided by the villagers.

“The suspects are undergoing interrogation at the police command in the state after which they would be prosecuted,” he said.

According to Embrinson, the Inspector-General of Police’s Joint Investigation Committee is in the state to investigate the recent killings in Birane Village, Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.

He said the committee was mandated to investigate, arrest and bring the perpetrators of the recent attack in Birane village to justice.

Embrinson, however, appealed to members of the public to utilize police information network kit and provide police with information on security to assist security agencies in tackling insecurity in the state.

Recall that the command had arrested three principal suspects in connection with last Thursday’s gunmen attack in Birane village, which resulted in the death of 30 people, while many were injured.
