I honestly like this guy, but there comes a time when any sensible man should cut his losses and move on. There is something disturbing about the way Atiku is pursuing this Presidency thing. He is making it look like he is desperate to get power, and why?still puzzles me. You have been a top man at the Customs, you have been a Governor, you have been a Vice President, and for years the Presidency has eluded you.
Would it not be wise to call it quits?the way you are going about it, will make some say the "BORN TO RULE" toga, that has been given to the people from the North is right.
Tinubu Schemed you out of the Presidency in the APC, and Tinubu is still there with his very loyal party loyalist. Tinubu is an APC man, and has been consistently consistent in the same party, as compared to Atiku who has changed from the PDM, to the PDP and then the APC.
Atiku is not a stable man, and unstable people are not loyal people.
And this is why a lot of people are not comfortable with him, as they do not know where his loyalty is. My advice?be a Statesman, and be a power broker from behind the scene.
This Bromance between him and Mimiko to form a Political party is dead, even before the party is formed.
WHY DO WE FEEL THE NEED TO ALWAYS GIVE EXPLANATIONS? Being an active member of society can fill you with all sorts of pressure and stress. Certain situations make you feel like you must respond a certain way or act in a specific manner. And yes, some people think they know what is best for you and your livelihood. REGARDLESS OF ALL OF THOSE THINGS, YOU MUST REMEMBER, YOU DON’T OWE ANYONE AN EXPLANATION FOR… 1. YOUR LIVING SITUATION. The way you live your life at home is no one’s business but your own. It doesn’t matter whether you have housemates, live alone, live unmarried with a partner, or if you still live with your ex. 2. YOUR LIFE PRIORITIES. Dream of opening a restaurant? Want to become a pastor at your church? Have an urge to sell all of your belongings and backpack through Peru? Go for it! And remember, you never need to explain your priorities to anyone because they are your priorities, and are not there to impress people. 3. NEEDING ALONE TIME. If you require alone time in your life, you’re not being rude, introverted, or unfriendly, despite what others might think. You just need time to be by yourself- alone. We all need time to find our center and refocus. 4. YOUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE. We all go through changes with our bodies. Losing weight, gaining weight, getting a new hairstyle, growing a beard, or doing anything different with your physical appearance doesn’t require an explanation. They will just have to deal with your purple hair. 5. YOUR FOOD PREFERENCES. Not everyone is fan of pizzas and burgers. Some folks like banana and bacon sandwiches, or they prefer spaghetti with butter instead of tomato sauce. We all have different tastes when it comes to food. If someone tries to judge you over it, don’t pay them any mind. You just go ahead an dip your French fries in your ice cream. People Explain Why They Lost Interest After a Few Dates 6. YOUR S*X LIFE. This is a no-brainer. It is a very personal part of your life, and whether your s*x life does or doesn’t exist, it’s no one’s business but your own. There will always be someone who will pass judgment on you for who you sleep with or what your sexuality is. But I’ve found, their opinion doesn’t matter. 7. YOUR CAREER OR PERSONAL LIFE CHOICES. Go in the direction you want to go, and follow the path of your choosing. If you are a talented artist who desires working in the legal field, follow your heart. If being a lawyer is your dream, go for it. The ones who truly care for you will support your decision. 8. YOUR RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL VIEWS. These days, it’s easy to pick a fight- just ask someone what their political or religious affiliation is and watch the battle ensue. Whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, a Catholic or a Protestant, it is your choice and yours alone, and you never need to defend your beliefs (as long as they don’t harm anyone). Of course, if someone wants to have a mature, candid discussion with you about the topic, then go for it. Exchanging ideas and viewpoints can expand the mind and is beneficial for both parties. 9. BEING SINGLE. Regardless if you’ve been single for a week or a year, you’re probably comfortable with the decision at this point in your life. If people are pressuring you to find a date, or to get married and settle down, tell them to mind their own. Being single can be great. 10. YOUR RELATIONSHIP CHOICES. Did your ex ask you to get back together and you said yes? Did you forgive the one that cheated on you?Did you turn down a marriage proposal? Well guess what? All of these decisions were made by you for your own set of reasons. You followed your heart and this is where you landed, and you don’t owe anyone an explanation for that. Life can be complicated, and the people around us can either make it more difficult, or they can ease the burdens by supporting your choices. You don’t have to give explanations for everything. Donbrig: I've been wondering how a language like pidgin English that is widely spoken all over Nigeria is yet to be officially taught as a subject in our learning institutions. I think it is high time we take pidgin English to a very high level and polish it a bit. Even our politicians use it often during campaigns and some other African countries also speak pidgin English. Sometimes, I wonder how the western world would have packaged and polish pidgin English if it were to be their language.
which african country? it is called Nigerian pidgin english
If my own blood brother could said that to me then what will a stranger call me? I was struggling to speak out so he said why can't i stop this nonsense, he called me slowpoke, i have tired everything within my power to stop it buh i can't, i think he was influenced by others to call me that, they are angry because i stopped talking to them because they make fun of me, call me all sort of names, i couldn't bear it any longer so i stopped going close to them, now my brother at home have joined them, i have tired every therapy, buh i just can't stop it, eveything within my power, if someone want to make fun of me he will ask me a question, if i try replying to him he or she will either laugh or make a mockery of me, my father is okay with me buh my mother and my brother (recently) always complain, people call me mumu, mugu all sort of name, it hurts alot

FemiFaniKayode: Why Dont We Igbos Appreciate Our Evergreen Musicians
It baffles me our we igbos have failed in celebrations of life, awards, events to appreciate the likes of
Chief Osita Osadebe Bright Chimezie ( Duke of African Music) Emeka Morocco Maduka Chief Dr. Oliver Sunday Akanite (Oliver De Coque) Oriental Brothers Chief Pericoma Okoye
I stay in far away United States and I know how much goes out of my pocket heavily every weekend just so I can sit at some bar and listen to great songs like
Its a different story back home as i rarely hear the songs of these great artist at events whenever in Nigeria compared to the South Westerners who cherish and treat the likes of King Sunny Ade and Chief Commander as Kings and gods
How many youths of nowadays can boast of turntable discs of these great artists I have personally enforced on my kids to revere, cherish, appreciate and listen to these music at home and spread the knowledge and wisdom sayings in these songs wherever they are rather than these contemporary music that only preaches sex violence and women
These artist those days were gods and mouth pieces of the gods compared to our modern day Pastors and Imams
Lets do all that we can to spread the richness of Igbo highlife and traditional Nigerian music
