PoliticsOshiomhole Talks Before Thinking – Oyegun Backs Resignation Call Of APC Chairman by Limitednow(op): 10:45pm On Jun 02, 2019
John Oyegun, former national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) says Adams Oshiomhole, the incumbent chairman of the ruling party talks before thinking.

Mr Oyegun also threw his political weight behind the recent call for the resignation of the former Edo state governor.

The travails of Mr Oshiomhole began last year during the party's primaries to pick its candidates for this year's general election.

Some of the aggrieved aspirants who lost the tickets of the party accused the former governor of receiving kickbacks from the highest bidder for the tickets of the party. They also urged the top official to step aside.

Recently, the deputy national chairman of the APC, Lawan Shuaibu, called on Oshiomhole to resign, accusing him of incompetence.

Stakeholders of the ruling party in the South South region recently attributed the travails of the APC chairman to the legacy of his predecessor, Mr Oyegun.

But denying the allegation, the former party chairman backed the call for the resignation of the former governor saying the latter talks before thinking.

Oyegun said the continued stay in office of the embattled chairman is degrading and demarketing the party, rather than seek to bring more people on board.

PoliticsI Will Flee From Nigeria If Buhari Sacks Me – Lauretta Onochie by Limitednow(op):
Lauretta Onochie, an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed what she will do if her principal decides to fire her.

Ms Onochie, a controversial aide of the president on social media, repeatedly accused of peddling fake news, said she doesn't spread informations that are untrue.

She recently earned herself a 2 billion suit from Atiku Abubakar, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for alleging the former vice president travelled to a foreign land in shop of terrorists who will make the country ungovernable for her principal.

She has also clashed with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) whom she described as "can of worms" with aim of milking the country dry.

In a recent interview published on Sun Newspaper, she has hinted that she will flee from the country if relieved of her job.

The presidential aide also said she will continue to support her principal even after leaving the country as she will not fold her hands and watch opposition politicians lampoon Mr Buhari.

The below image is from an Adsense seller... it has never recieved payment

The owner of this adsense claims its verified... but check its balance! How possible? since u need to earn $10 to verify it.
That adsense is not verified, it is clearly stated in adsense policies that you must reach $10 before been verified.

Aside you can confirm this by switching to the payment area of the account, if you can edit your name and contact details, that is proof that it's not yet verified.

I am talking about the new policy which I think will be applied to all adsense account.

PoliticsBuhari's Aide Reels Out 3 Political Lessons Learnt From 2011, 2015 & 2019 Electi by Limitednow(op):
An aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has reeled out 3 political lessons he learnt from 2011, 2015 and 2019 elections.

Tolu Ogunlesi who oversees Digital Communications at the presidency has described the sessions as the biggest he has learnt so far.

The lessons - which featured rotational zoning, a former president, an incumbent president and a state - are listed below:

Party Primaries must be transparent. Political Parties disregard Internal democracy at own peril.

Incumbents can be defeated. Technology can be a gamechanger (PVCs, Card Readers).

Zoning is not sacrosanct.

CONDUCT OF PARTY PRIMARIES: The recent judgement of the Supreme Court on the internal wangling of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is a case study.

The apex court affirming the earlier position of the Court of Appeal, voided the primaries that produced the APC candidates. This development clearly avails the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) an opportunity to mount the saddle of leadership in the state.

DEFEAT OF INCUMBENT: The 2015 presidential election that saw former president Goodluck Jonathan fail in his re-election bid is another event that should not be waved away.

Mr Jonathan with the aid of card readers lost to incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari who has been re-elected for another term of four years.

The historic victory was the first time in the country, an opposition candidate will trounced a sitting president.

VIOLATION OF ZONING: There is an unwritten agreement that power should rotate between the two protectorates in the country.

POLITICS TIMES recalls that the demise of former president Musa Yar'adua two years after been sworn into office led to the breaching of the accord as Mr Jonathan who deputized him took over the mantle of leadership and refused to honour the agreement by contesting and winning the 2011 presidential election.

The same scenario is being expected to play out as the 2023 general draws near. Some individuals considered influential in the Northern part of the country has insisted that power will not go to the South in the coming general election.

Their grievances is that President Buhari has done nothing for the protectorate. They also alleged the the administration of the Nigerian leader has been hijacked by a prominent politician from the southern protectorate.

PoliticsShehu Sani Kicks Against Radio Station, Death Sentence On Herdsmen by Limitednow(op): 10:25am On May 25, 2019
Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central at the Senate has revealed what must be done for peace to return to the country.

Insecurity in Nigeria has recently worsened with kidnappers, bandits, armed herdsmen and Boko Haram terrorists having a field day.

The Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari as one of its measures to protect lives and properties, is dialoguing with herdsmen believed to be responsible for violent crimes across the country.

The administration has also obtained a radio station to be aired in Fulani language aimed at educating the herders on the need for peaceful co-existence with their host communities.

On its part to tackle the security situation, Katsina State has prescribed death sentence for kidnappers, cattle rustlers, among others.

But weighing in, the Kaduna lawmaker has said the measures taken by the federal and state governments are not the best approach to confront the situation.

The outgoing Senator said for peace to return, the country must be restructured politically and economically.

He said this must be done in accordance with the 2014 national conference report recommendations.

PoliticsDon’t Grand El-rufai Access To Your Groin Again, Shehu Sani Warns Tinubu by Limitednow(op): 12:39pm On May 20, 2019
Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been warned to be cautious of Nasir El-rufai, the governor of Kaduna State.

This advise is coming from Senator Shehu Sani, lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the red chamber.

Messrs Sani and El-rufai are not political allies during the lawmaker’s days in the APC. The governor had played a vital role in ensuring the outspoken Senator failed in his bid to return to the upper legislative chamber.

As the tenure of Abdulaziz Yari, governor of Zamfara State, as the chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) is winding down, El-rufai is reported to have indicated interest to succeed his colleague.

His ambition to succeed Mr Yari has pitched him against Mr Tinubu who is reportedly warming up to ensure his own candidate clinch the position. The former Lagos State governor is backing Kayode Fayemi to succeed the outgoing Zamfara governor.

Earlier in the month, through an indirectly means, El-rufai launched an attack on the APC chieftain who is largely viewed as the political godfather of Lagos State politics and indeed that of the South-West region.

The governor urged the people of the state to end the reign of the political godfather of the state as he did in his domain.

Warning Tinubu to be weary of El-rufai, Sani urged the former governor not to grant the Kaduna governor access to his lower junctional area.

“Dear Lion of Bourdilon, next time he bow down before you, use your two hands and cover your groin,” Sani warned in a tweet on Monday.

El-rufai is known for bowing to those who he expects to derive favour from. Notable among those he bowed to but has turn their enemies are: Mr Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

He is currently bowing to President Muhammadu Buhari but his loyalty to the latter is in doubt because he had previously attacked the president while he was in the opposition.

PoliticsLauretta Onochie Reacts To Atiku’s 'Defamation' by Limitednow(op): 10:24am On May 20, 2019
Lauretta Onochie, an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to allegation of defamation against Atiku Abubakar.

Mr Abubakar, a former vice president, is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in this year’s general election.

The PDP candidate lost the election to Mr Buhari who sought re-election on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC). The former number two citizen popularly known as Atiku is currently at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal challenging the outcome of the exercise.

Trouble started when the presidential aide alleged that Atiku has travelled to the United Arab Emirate (UAE) to shop for terrorists who will make the country ungovernable for her principal.

A week later, the current administration on which she serves made allegations similar to the one she made.

But reacting on the allegation against him the PDP candidate urged Ms Onochie to retract the allegation, publish an apology in not less than six (6) national dailies and on social media with a compensation of N500 million for damages.

Forty-Eight (48) hours was given as the duration for the apology and retraction after which a legal redress will be filed against her if not complied with.

On Monday morning, Onochie has reacted, vowing not to back down while insisting on not being distracted.

PoliticsLocal Government Funds: Shehu Sani Advises Buhari What To Do by Limitednow(op): 8:14pm On May 19, 2019
Shehu Sani, lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the Senate has advised President Muhammadu Buhari on what to do pertaining to the request of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) on Local Government Funds.

The NFIU had announced a ban on the financial transactions in the joint account of State and Local Government Funds.

The intelligence body wants federal allocation of the third tier of government to go straight into their respective accounts.

The move has drawn the anger of state governors who have written to President Muhammadu Buhari seeking the nullification of the policy expected to begin next month.

The 36 state governors in their intervention-seeking letter, said the policy if implemented will tantamount to a violation of the Nigerian Constitution quoting section(6) (a) and (b) “which confers on the States and National Assemblies the powers to make provisions for statutory allocation of Public revenue to the Local Councils in the Federation and within the states respectively.”

Similarly, the governors added, Section 162 (6) expressly “provides for the creation of the States Joint Local Government Account (SJLGA) into which shall be paid all allocations to the LGAs of the State from the Federation Account and from the government of the state.”

But advising the president on what to do, the Kaduna lawmaker urged Mr Buhari to disregard the intervention request from the state governors.

The Senator urged the president to ensure strict compliance to the NFIU policy.
