Secondly,I heard I can combine ABS 3 west with my setup which has16e (primary) with 5e and 28e on 1mtr dish,is it so? And if yes,please explain the steps

Believe it or not, your stb signal ic have been damaged probably by lighting. I've encounters similar problems with 2 4922 decoders. As soon as I changed the signal ic all was well again. I think you should do that.

You are not far from the truth.........thunder blew the decoder b4 and it was repaired,I will take it to a radionic for replacement of the signal IC

If u have another box, try it with ur set up. Or try ur box on another set up. If the result is d same, then ur box needs surgery. If u find out that ur box worked fine, then change ur diseq switch.

I have used another 4922 decoder on the same dish/diseq setup and working perfectly........I don't think it's dish/diseq problem

check your disecq configuration for each satellite and number them correctly base on the disecq port then scan.

Chief,I have used another 4922 on the same dish setup and all the Sats are working fine with the 4ways diseq switch too.........
The problem with the decoder is that it keeps scanning the same channels over and over again within range of 2 TPs

I can only think one of solution for this issue at the moment since it seems to be software problem. You will need to visit a decoder technician to clone your decoder's chip. I mean he will wipe off the existing software and install another one.

Can't I wipe the software myself?
If,I got you well,does it have to do with using RS232 cable to connect 2 same decoders together?
If yes,pls enlighten me on how to do the wiping of the software

I have multiple LNBs and they are working well on same type of 4922 decoder...........I also discovered that when I even tried to scan another satellite e.g Ses5 which is one of the dish setups,it keeps scanning multi TV channels despite changing the satellite from Astra 28.2○ to 5e°.

Please urgent help for a brother......my SRT 4922 only blind scanning only 2 lower TPs and keep repeating same stations severally.e.g
If I blindscan multi TV,it keep scanning from lower TPs only upto 12525v30000 and keeps repeating same channels within that frequency range (stops over and over at galaxy channel,no Joy prime and all the rest again.
I factory reset, no headway and am running patch 197p .

From experience, this issue is usually not caused by software. It could be signal fault though strong normally don't have this problem which is common with Qsat but they all have signal IC in them which can result in selecting few tps when it's faulty.
If the TP you are seeing after blindscan is lower than its usual % and some tps don't come up when you insert them manually, then it's definitely signal IC but if you can get them manually them it's software issue. You can try upgrading or downgrading.

For better usage of your 1mtr dish . Make 5/7e as your primary. Put 16e beside. Follow by 26/28e
But if you make 16 as primary. Beside it at the right hand side will be 5e. And at the left hand side will be 26/28 follow by 42 .

use yamalsat as primary 42e and 68.5e as attachments. And for 5e/7e use either premium gold, digisat or any good lnb.

You might not get 5e ,the gap between 26e to 5e is much on one meter dish ,nevertheless u can try it that is what we mean by research, no harm in trial, whatever your finding keep that house posted.

even with 9e as primary on 90cm
dstv blue dish i have 5e attached below but the signal is not so strong cos it is too close to 9e & the primary lnb holder does not allow the 5e to get enough signal though na only 2tp dey crack while others are stable but not strong (a little change in the weather has a negative effect on the signal)

I have tracked 16e as primary with 28.2e n 26e and 5e as attachment before on 1M dish,its only 7e that refused to pop up with SeS 5e.....my major concern is Nigcomsat 42 as primary and 68.5e attached on 60cm,i will try it since gurus said its possible.......
