The main fears for the eagles right now is their defence and attack in that other... They should be wary of a high defensive line... The attack efficiency needs improvement.... But I hope with Isaac's experience and Nacho's increasing maturity they will learn to convert their chances..... .
PREDICTIONS: I smell a brazil capitulation Naija 5 brasil 2
Otherwise Naija 3 brasil 2..
I never trust that defense... Lolz |

drpialabi: You no suppose yab me now. I'v been following that team before they went to UNDER 17 AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS too. What we asked u is to provide the source of r info. If there is none, just say it . But really i would like to know how you arrive at over 70 goals for success. If you actually have been following the team pre-AYC then those success stats shouldn't surprised you... Prior to the u 17 AYC this team have been together for well over a year... Infact during the AYC prior the AYC proper success has score over 60 goals already.. . In their group game against ghana the commentator mentioned this interesting stat. |

drpialabi: Bros- pls r source or else i wont believe this.
I have always respected success as a striker anyway. He looks like a much younger samuel etoo In this Google generation you are asking for source . ... I have closely followed this team since their genesis... In all matches played till date including all friendlies.. Isaac is the highest goal scorer with over 70 goals... Yes!. . You saw that right.. OVER SEVENTY GOALS.. . Kelechi is the second highest goal score with circa 56 goals... . Taiwo rarely even had opportunity to play game.. He has managed circa 17 goals for this team in all official matches and friendlies... Taiwo is good... But NO ONE has delivered the goods more for this team than Success.. If you have your doubts Google is you friend... . Feel free to provide ANY stats that seems to debunk these facts |

mikron: safari why don't u like success? u don't sound happy whenever his name is mentioned here, truth is success remains one of the best 2 deadliest strikers naija has ever produced in this age cadre, the other being awoniyi, note i said strikers not goal-scoring midfielders like iheanacho. give the dude some respect Awoniyi has to score 48 goals more for this team to equal Isaac's record..... Maybe this will help those '' anti-isaac'' get a glimpse of the reputation the guy has in this team since the team's genesis. |

TheGoodJoe: Why do you think so? Having a strong attacking combination will require the midfield and defence to play in a compact way and prevent gaps. With Nacho, Moses and Success moving forward, you have a pair that can keep the ball, take out opponents, creating gaps for each other.
The midfield will not lose shape, trying to create for the attack which will help the midfield and defence deal with counter attacks more comfortably.
Coach Manu Garba pointed out the defence was a problem with the team. These combination will allow the team attack with less men, giving the midfielders room to help the defence more. I prefer midfielders playing as wingers to strikers playing as wingers especially when you have a top-notch poacher upfront . ... Wanna know why?... Just find out the difference between the two.... |

tbaba1234: Bello's nickname is baggio, strange for a defender.
I think one of the biggest prospect in the team is Ezeh. He looks like he has so much potentialto ne world class. I hope he puts his head down and work hard.
Porto is training him to be a midfielder. U can say that again bro... Ezeh will certainly go places... He is so so talented.. He may not have the imposing presence of Taiwo or Success but he is or perhaps even more talented... I knew this guy when he was like 12/13.. . He got great potential |

LeeCodeman: Yahaya does not practice too much freekick in training. Musa and Iheanacho were those always standing to take freekicks at the U17 World Cup.
From observations, I think with practice, Yahaya and Mathew would be very good freekick takers. They look the part. my thoughts too |

How does "Please leave them and ignore the trouble makers.....Nairaland is not for Nigerians alone" come off as rude? Is that why he asked ".....who made the site not for Nigerians only, you?" then ended with "....I didn't come here for quarrel"....what does that sound like to you?
If you were unbiased, you'd realise that dude threw jabs at me first, but you didn't fail to bring in your pettiness. I have no words for you, some of you criticising me here are far worse than I can ever be. You allow past grievances blind you and then attack whoever you think you can handle.

Penalties: Isaac, Simon Moses I find it interesting to see midfielders who are dead ball specialists.. It makes so much sense |

mathew will play deeper than usual to allow iheanacho play the free role. That team has goals in it.

zoboizee: Heard Manu is trying to deploy iheanacho as an attacking midfielder, hope he factors in defensive duties because iheanacho is poor defensively unlike nwobodo n sokari. Against Milan n Chelsea is a good example. Sokari to me will still be a better choice. He is strong, combative, quick and can easily cover more ground. Taiwo and Success dont really add up too because they r also strikers that dont really track back much. So according to media reports, if the three are used together against a team that inter change passes quickly then we r in trouble. That why i posited and still reiterating that the trio of nacho, Success and Moses MUST NOT be played together. That lineup lacks balance |

If the eagles must win on moday by a high score line, manu must stick to the team that played the friendlies in Germany... Any wholesale change will not be fine.. Otherwise... .
All this nacho, Success and moses am seeing is not good ooo.... I would love at least a 4 goals win not just any win.. Thus success, moses and nacho.. MUST not start at once.. ... E GET WHY |

TheGoodJoe: See your statement, it shows a lot. Against Spain in the U17, Ajiboye saved three penalties. Man, if it was Ajiboye against Fran Merida, Ajiboye would have saved it. Not that Emeka Okafor that cannot keep for Mickey Mouse club. Fran Merida laughed after he took the penalty.
Coach Siasia should not select a few boys from this Super Flying Eagles. They are amazing. This is the U23 team. Any replacement should be a player trying to outperform a player in this team. Anything less, Coach Siasia will lose my respect. And where is your revered Ajiboye today?? Siasia's team had defensive deficiencies and would have expose any keeper... So forget this talk abeg |

TheGoodJoe: Mogbe. That boy was worse than Agbim on his worst day. That guy rid not know how to stand when a free kick will be taking. He did not know how to arrange the wall. In my street, the junior boys will not select him.
That boy was the worst goal keeper that ever wore a National team jersey. How can he be the best when the best Goal Keeper Keeper of the U17 Ajiboye was on the bench. I repeat in the U17, Ajiboye conceded only one goal from Toni Kroos in seven games and save three penalties against Spain in the final. He wasn't nonsense... They were about the best at that time... Hw many goals did he concede Most of the boys did make it... For others their careers were dead already by the time of the WYC... Eg Sheriff Isa, Akinsola, Oseni et al... Others like nwakwo obiorra, Ambrose, haruna, sone aluko, odion ighalo, Osanga king, rabiu ibrahim where the best of that time and he invited them all. Even van dar sar conceded 5 goals in one match... they had a poor defence and the most goals he consided was two against germany... Note: THE TWO GOALS WERE UNCATCHABLE. even van dar sar no go catch them... The guy did well Against spain it was a panalty... Even if it was Ajiboye it makes no difference... |
