Very nice academic journey you have. To be able to suggest topics for you, I like to know the title of research you worked on during your MSc. Also, you said you have broad research interests, can you list 3-5 of this so as to have a clear and concise picture of your research areas.

I would say my research interests are encapsulated in these five related thematic areas:

1. Mental health: Adolescent mental health, Substance use/drug abuse, mental health stigma and discrimination.

2. Reproductive health: Especially maternal and child health. Family planning, contraceptive use and barriers to use, exclusive breasting feeding, adolescents' risky sexual behaviour, effects of comprehensive sexuality education.

3. Communicable diseases: HIV/AIDS- barriers to voluntary testing, HIV/AIDS stigmatization; Lassa Fever, Ebola, e.t.c

4. Gender studies: domestic violence, Rape, child sexual abuse, Female Genital Mutilation

5. Health care system: Access to health care, Healthcare Associated Infection (HCAI), health seeking behaviour, TBAs, non-orthodox medicine

My M.Sc. thesis was on the "benefits/barriers to antenatal exercise for women".

First, article publication in reputable journals goes through several stages which is beyond the power of the author and in most cases the editor. The longest stage is the peer reviewing stage which varies between 15 days to 5 months, revision stage, acceptance stage, proofing and production stage, online article publication stage. All reputable journals pass through these stages irrespective of the publishing house (Elsevier or springer or Taylor’s or Willey).

No fixed time or days and it is Daylight lie that it takes 6 months for Elsevier to get back to you. It maybe as short as 1 month or even longer than 10 months....no fixed days ....That’s how publication in reputable journals goes.

80% if my papers come from Elsevier, 15% from Springer and 5% from Taylor’s & Francis. From my experience I publish 1-4 months and in 2018 I published 12 papers, 2019 Target is 20 papers 65% reached while others under review.

I think your focus should be on the quality, significance, innovation and industrial applications of your publication. Only fake Indian journals and the likes publish in 10 days and such articles published in predatory and fake journals are strongly frowned upon and lowers the reputation of the authors/academic involve. All well ranked universities focus more in reputable and quality research output in well recognized journals irrespective of publication time.

Please don’t listen to excuses from failures ... such always give negative energy to everything they could not achieve ...

Hello everyone. Please, I need some clarification on my application. I applied for a Ph.D. and on UI's website they are to send my referees email request for reference. However, none of my referees has received an email request from UI. I have used the "resend request" button severally on the pg website but as at yesterday none of my referees has received the request. What should I do?.. Can I get written letters of recommendation from my referees and post them to UI?. I don't know if it is acceptable. Please, kindly advice.

Sensationalise news! He did not discover the said form of treatment for prostate cancer. A simple google search will show you that it is a form of treatment that has been around for a long time. Madam! stop feeling fly. Be humble and learn. Humility is a very important quality. Try to cultivate it and you'll go far in life. If I go visit a friend for the very first time and then I see his/her mum within my view trying to carry something reasonably heavy, I will simply make a request to help out. If I was even visiting my male friend for the very first time and his mum starts sweeping I wouldn't just sit down and then raise my legs to let her sweep under. I will definitely make a request to help out. If she says "don't worry" then she can continue. Besides I wouldn't even be comfortable raising my legs and someone older or my superior sweeps under as this lady did. I will simply stand or change my seat at the interim while the sweeping continues. It is called good manners. Learn o!

Seeing many of the comments on this thread makes me shake my head. I mean, where are our manners and morals. It is sickening that many of the girls of this generation were raised by mothers who aren't good role models themselves, who lack good manners themselves and who left the training of their daughters to chance. So what we have are young girls who lack basic courtesy, common sense and are utterly self-centered. Many girls need training in human relations, cultural values, and etiquette. However only few would realize that they are a product of a failed home and work on themselves to become better persons for their own good and for the good of humanity at large.

The lady of discuss lacks common sense. Why not preempt your mother-in-law by just requesting to help. Say something like " ah mummy! let me help you sweep na?" There is a 99 percent chance that the mother-in-law would have declined her request. She will have most likely said "thank you, my daughter! you are our guest for today just relax". Case closed! She then maintains a good relationship with her in-laws and they see her in good light. This more productive approach would have made more sense. She would have shown her foresight, wisdom and good sense!

My problem with Iheanacho been on the list is that the guy will be a distraction to the other players.. He is only a comedian in camp and very lazy in training. He better go meet bovi to teach him how comedy is done on stage and not on the training pitch. Additionally, he is very unfit, just 30 minutes of training he is already breathing heavily like he wants to pass out. Even his roommate the other day said that iheanacho hardly sleep at night. Oga... if you are not a health care affiliate you may not understand how bad things are in Nigeria. Just so you know, Nigeria has the highest maternal and infant mortality rate in the world at 840 deaths per 1000 live births. infant mortality rate is also one of the highest in the world. These statistics alone makes it ominous that our life expectancy will be very unimpressive. We only make up for these many deaths with our high fertility of about 5.5 children per woman which is also one of the highest in the world. The NDHS has helped in getting these data and hospital records whether at a PHC or teaching hospitals are kept judiciously in recent years. Nonetheless, I have an impression that these reports may still be underestimates. Think about this... in 2016, I was an intern at a secondary health care centre that has a Heart2heart centre. I the numbers of HIV positive individuals who were recorded was alarming. Many of these persons did not come for a HIV test. But a free HIV test was included in the test done all individuals who were recorded for other kinds of blood tests. From my impression almost 90 percent of those who tested positive never knew they were HIV positive prior to the test.

One sided story.. Let us also hear from your husband's friend. You are not being entirely truthful. Even that amount would buy a 2010 Mercedes E350. I wonder why op would post ridiculous price on a 2007 LS460. Ain't worth it at all. and besides, this LS460 is much less reliable than it older brother, LS430 with almost same features. Compared to the Benz E350 it stands no chance. It Benz E350 beat it in any criteria imaginable and more. 2012/2013 Lexus ES350 is another better option way more classic than this LS460 model. its price is comparable to Op's.
Verdict: Op is extremely emotional in fact delirious to put such huge asking price on this car. Car's real value doesn't exceed 4.5m.
