Christianity Etc › Re: 7 Sins That Lead To Self-destruction: Christians Must Avoid. by linusbnn(m): 11:39am On Nov 22, 2015 |
tempest69: Sin consciousness is what your post is all about
Hebrews 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
Sin consciousness results to remember unto sin. I wonder why believer searches himself daily to see if He has wrong any body. That's being sin conscious.
Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Everyday I see baby born again christains ask for forgiveness I have never sin in the entire new Testament where any of the disciples or apostles pray for forgiveness of sin. But see what Paul said
1 Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Abstaining from those things by your carnal nature is not possible. Some of us baby christain believers still preach that people should forsake their sins then follow Jesus. Its wrong. If I can forsake my sins then, I don't need Jesus. Remember He came for the unrighteous which include every man created because no man is righteous. Abraham's righteousness was counted unto him because he believed God not base on works. Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
To conclude this my dear brother. BY NATURE... we are SINNERS, BUT BY FAITH we are RIGHTEOUS (SAINTS) SHALOM!!!!!!! You just dey talk up and down and failed to hit the point. My broda, Jesus, when he taught his disciples how to pray which we pray also said"God should forgive us our sins as we forgive others also". The grace of God should not be taken as a child's play,we all have to strive to avoid SIN becos it is un pleasing to God |

AgreatMan: I have always studied Enyeama, I know he is the pompous type that seeks some form of gratification for saving important goals for us. I wouldn't complain about that, if you are good at something and are boastful about it, anybody can go to hel.l.
Enyeama is a mere captain of a team, the fact that he was stripped of his captaincy doesn't compensate for dumping Nigeria. Can he come late to Lille even if hell had broken loose? Not coming at all would have been better than coming late but I understand the boy is trying to dedicate the Congo match to mama.
That team belonged to the coach, the coaching staff first and any other person can come after. Oliseh takes the blame for any success or loss.
Ahmed is a dedicated boy. Always gives his best, always plays in the Champions league. Dedication always trumps talent any day. You guys should forget this very good keeper, as far as am concerned, he could have equally had a year injury.
What's with the Bentley? You don't have a house a Belgium, you don't live there, you haven't played there before. So you simply decided to rent a Bentley (or borrowed one from Eden Hazard's Belgium garage) to intimidate the other guys who probably came in a team bus? Is there no taxi in Belgium or molue?
It's really crazy when people who have not played any sort of organized sport under a coach, to be making some misguided comments and defending a player who actually erred on that occasion. See your life!!! Are you jealous or you just want to write? |

Mr Oliseh might have bn wrong there but lets not be oblivious of the fact that he is the head coach of the national team which Enyeama happens to be the shot-stooper.The boss has the final say bros Enyeama n ur just a follower. The fact that ur no more the team captain shouldn't make u want to take such hasty decision cos ur still the Mighty goal stopper we always know n one of the best as long as long as Nigerian football is concerned. The capacity u serve in the team doesn't really matter but your output.

Politics › Re: Scores Feared Dead As Multiple Explosions Rock Maiduguri by linusbnn(m): 3:32am On Sep 21, 2015 |
T0nyeBarcanista: The mere fact that after so long, we can once again regard bomb explosion news as "Breaking News" shows that PMB has been working hard to eradicate Boko Haram. And as predicted, just as a wounded dog, the Boko Haramites can only resort to attack soft targets as the last straw on a camels back.
Hence...as patriots...we must stand with the president and the gallant Nigerian Army on this one.
But one very interesting dimension which I will like critical thinkers to ponder upon and analyse is the following:
Just this weekend...Saraki got into trouble and PDP seems to be on the rescue. This is a party wherein a school of thought believe is known to always distract Nigerians from corruption news headlines by bomb explosion headlines.
So, this same weekend, they released a statement calling Buhari an OFFICIAL TERRORIST.
This same weekend again...an AUDIO...not a VIDEO....an AUDIO (i.e a medium not easily verifiable and highly unlike the real Shekau) of Shekau calling Buhari a liar ...
This same weekend too, multiple explosions occurred in Maiduguri, killing innocent Nigerians as usual.
Well, the questions begging for answers are:
1. What is the link between SHEKAU and CORRUPTION? 2. When did Shekau start releasing Audios rather than Videos? 3. When did Shekau start mentioning/discrediting political parties? 4. Why did all these happen on this same critical weekend?
Answer: The answer is very simple...when you fight corruption, corruption fights back harder. But if we all harness our resolution against them...we will crush them soonest and totally.
As GEJ said...Boko Haram is part of the PDP government,..... as Azazi said....Boko Haram is PDP...and...PDP is Boko Haram

raayah: why didn't my husband forgive me instead of injuring me.. is it only women that should forgive If you love him,you will not count how many times you have forgiven him, rather pray God to help him realise his mistakes. Marriage is a union of two diff entities and belief,so ENDURANCE is the key coupled with prayers. Family dat pray together, stay together, and that duty lies largely on the part of the woman. |

raayah: Very Very bad Advice!
Look, my own mother suffered abuse in the hands of her husband after doing heaven and earth for him. You know what my mother told me one day? She sat me down and said, "Raayah. My husband does not love me, If he did, he will not abuse me like this for no reason".
Weeks after that, She moved out and hasn't looked back. She is planning to return the dowry to his people very soon. Life is so much better for her. No more spending nights at the hospital,(Yes, that's how serious the physical and mental abuse was), no more tears.. Life is good!
If you choose to stay with an abusive man because of the "children" or because you cannot "live independently", then say so. Don't tell women to stay with men with abusive men.. Same advice for men, don't stay with abusive women. They can kill
She dared him by doing what? How many of you will fight an agbero who dares you, or a man who disrespects you, Not a lot! But when it comes to your wife, she does something wrong, you decide to give her head injury! All of you justifying this abuse are cowards, yes I said it! You are a product of a CAT AND RAT relationship, thus,it is your biznexx.. But If you think leaving yur future husband is cool because your mum did so,then you must be an EMPTY VESSEL |
