its time for Jonathan to face the music and dance the dance of shame in the market square.

sebod: I have been following your post and I must confess we share same view. Many of the guys that advice him to take up the job don't know what it means to be a contract staff in bank. Being a victim just like you,I can never advice my dog to take up such offer, I don't even encourage anyone that comes to me for advice on such let alone someone that's almost through with msc. The fear of the unknown sometimes leads us to such offer which mostly leads to regret later in life. @OP Please go ahead with your Msc as I'm sure something better awaits you thereafter. No ex/present contract staff would ever advice you to abandon your Msc to become a slave to those that don't have what you have presently.(you will be surprised your supervisor/boss cannot even stand you academically) I still regret wasting my good youthful life in the bank even though I left the job for my Msc. Thanks bro, @op will appreciate finishing his Msc than taking that slavery job. The good thing about bank is your steady salary and pple alwaz fancy you from afar. |

Fear of the unknown is the killer of men. Contract job in a bank is waste, else you are a teller or CSO(customer service officer). In those dept, you hardly get sacked, but you will be tied to your duty and no time to move around and find other better jobs. bloodyBLOGGER: the people of old that celebrated their birthdays were pagans. No follower of the true God did such.
Christ is not the reason you are celebrating christmas cos he never ordered such. Was he the one that formulated father christmas, the xmas trees, the disco lights, the drinks, the carols, bangers etc? Did any of his disciples and the early church fathers who knew him face to face celebrate such?
Heaven can't rejoice with you concerning what the owner of heaven never ordained. Christ only told us to remember him using the lord's supper, not some pagan birthday. Maybe you and your household are celebrating pagan birthday, for me and my household,we are celebrating with the Heaven's on the birthday of the second person of the trinity (Jesus Christ) |

Christianity Etc › Re: Was Jesus Born On Christmas Day? by linusbnn(m): 11:26am On Dec 25, 2015 |
bloodyBLOGGER: so, if his disciples decide to kill or rape, he will also agree to it in heaven?
Do you know that the early christians never celebrated anything like christmas? Christmas came in when the pagan religion merged with christianity in the form of catholicism. That's why you find idols in the name of mary in catholic churches. So long christ never celebrated his birthday nor ordered his followers to do it for him, no true christian ought to do otherwise.
Christmas was and is still a pagan festival that the false and weak christians of that time adopted into christianity just to lure the pagans into their religion. The fact that it is now celebrated as a christian festival doesn't make it christian but pagan.
It's just like picking up a candy from a dirty gutter. No matter how sweet the candy may be, it still doesn't change the fact that it was picked from a filthy place.
Would you also advice us to christianise sango, amahdioha, obatala festivals?
Can you now see that you are the one reasoning like a kid and not a christian? It will be something unimaginable for Christ to tell us to celebrate his birthday. You cannot tell me that people of old did not celebrate their birthdays, they did celebrate it because birthday celebration is as old as man. Christ Jesus is the reason we are celebrating today and whether you like it or not,we are celebrating the Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Heaven is celebrating with us too. |

Did he even celebrate such while on earth? You speak like a kid. Christ told his disciples that whatsoever they agreed to do here on earth is also agreed in Heaven because he has promised them the GIFT of the holy spirit to guide and direct them. If Christians who are offspring of the apostles decides to celebrate Christ birth every 25 Dec, then Heaven celebrates it too with the host of Angels |
Christianity Etc › Re: Was Jesus Born On Christmas Day? by linusbnn(m): 10:46am On Dec 25, 2015 |
Some parents alive today cannot tell you the exact date of their birth, but whichever date they chose to take is never questioned. Bible said what you agreed here on earth is also agreed in heaven. Since Christians have decided to celebrate christ birth every 25 Dec, it is also celebrated in Heaven. Trust me |

TonyeBarcanista: I have been witholding my position on Fayose's style of 'governance' all these whÍle. I think it's time to express it.
With due respect to Governor Ayo Fayose and his supporters, I think the Governor is abusing governance and is damaging the psyche of average Ekiti indigene on the responsibility of government by his actions.
His stomach infrastructure program has made government to be a "come and chop" affair. Instead of devoting such resources towards capacity building that will boost the human development of Ekiti people, and also wealth creation programs that will empower Ekiti people to be able to increase their financial capacity and build Ekiti economy, the governor rather spend it on non productive stomach infrastructure.
This pattern of sharing rice, cutting animal skin(kpomo), buying seasoning etc doesn't help the state go grow. Has he asked himself, "after eating the rice, what next for the people?" Will he feed them three times in a day? Will he give them money to buy cloths? Will he give them Shelter? Will he 'dash' the people automobile? How can his people get these without real empowerment?
I pray the Governor doesn't carry this form of governance(misgovernance) into the new year! He may not be the worst Governor but he needs to change... $ You don't know what you are saying. This rice sharing is for this festive period or will you tell me your spiritual head (pastor or catholic priest)wic ever1 is foolish if they did this charitable work during this period?they would have used the money for church development program. Charity and arms giving has nothing to do with if the governor embark on wealth creating ventures etc |
