My Birth Story:

(I've been typing this since Wednesday.. God help me, motherhood is EASY oh, if you understand me). And it's sweet actually.

Story is so long abi? I like little details sometimes. Anyway, the summary is that God blessed me with a beautiful bouncing baby girl!

on Monday I made a post here and some sweet mama's adviced me,and I listened.
on Tuesday afternoon I decided to check my BP and urine somewhere close to my house.Bp was 150/115. and protein in urine was 3+,immediately I called my gyn and he told me to come to the hospital that evening, DH got home from work and took me,we arrived by 8pm,my BP was already 190/115 and 3+ protein in my urine(thats preemclampsia) I was admitted immediately, given drugs,injections and drips to reduce the BP and be set for C.S.on Wednesday morning, by 6.30am my baby was brought out.
My lessons from my experience is that Pre-emclampsia is terrible,it can happen suddenly without notice, all preggy mama's please regularly check ur BP and protein in urine,if you notice any change in ur system,hospital straight. If the doctor Say's C.S agree.
On Wednesday evening. 12 hours after delivery, I had serious convulsion my BP rised to 210/115, I almost died,my baby cries kept me awake(like she knew something was happening),But God who gave me my child gave me a second chance,and his spirit were with the doctors who did all their best to keep me alive.We are still in the hospital,till I recover well.

To the glory of almighty God I'm overjoyed to announce the birth of my Ijebu princess today at 4.15pm via VBAC. after enjoying in mummy's tummy for 41 weeks and 2days. Weighing 3.27kg
Baby and mummy are doing great,already showing her foodie skills.
Daddy is still amazed, keeps disturbing the nurses with plenty questions. Birth story to come later.
I wish my fellow mommas safe delivery.

Teamie pls i want to know if it's ur doc that allowed you to stay up to 41 weeks and 2days or you intentionally did. My doc said I will not be allowed to exceed 40weeks and I will not be induced. Automatic CS if Labour doesn't come on its own after 40weeks.

Birth Story!

Wednesday 7th feb was my clinic day. I was 38wks 5days. There was no sign of labour, evem though baby had turned since 33 wks. Dr. & i agreed that if nothing happned, i'll be induced at my next visit in one week, as the baby's estimated weight was already 3.2kg.

Mummy's rejoice with me,my prince came out on 18th,@ 5:45pm,weight 3.2kg immediately I reach hospital it didn't take me 2mins my prince jumped out,doctors and nurses were surprise, i asked God for easy delivery,he answerd me,I don't know how I will thank this God..may God make it esay to all the pregnant women in this thread

I went for my Antenatal checkup on the 13th, my gynae asked me to go get a scan done since 2weeks before baby's weight was 2.5kg and he was quite interested in monitoring the development and since I was trying for VBAC too. I reported with the scan result and baby's weight was 3.3kg already. I told him about the pains I was feeling coupled with the contractions I was having although they weren't that strong.

So sorry for any typos and long story.
