Shebi dem say kpekus the induce labour na so I hold dh say im must do the do because since I get belle Im never enter Jerusalem for once, sake of say Im dey fear not to harm baby. befor JT enter vj na war . The pain no be here.

Abeg my question be say person way don disvirgin the later turn to virgin after some time? Because right now my vj dey hot to pis sef na war. Felt like the very first time.

To the glory of almighty God I'm overjoyed to announce the birth of my Ijebu princess today at 4.15pm via VBAC. after enjoying in mummy's tummy for 41 weeks and 2days. Weighing 3.27kg
Baby and mummy are doing great,already showing her foodie skills.
Daddy is still amazed, keeps disturbing the nurses with plenty questions. Birth story to come later.

Thanks everybody, motherhood is divine I tell you but csection pain is a bitch. I've been in serious pain but still trying to manage it, mothers that underwent CS shey Na like this e dey be ni.

I can't start mentioning names and users but I appreciate every single mention, birth story coming soon when I feel better.

I didn't feel pain that much when I had mine because I was always asleep because of the drugs and drip. May be they were trying to bring down my bp , so I tot.

my wife birth story
We got to the hospital on Monday and we were told that we are going for cs based on her pass experienced(she has 7miscarriages) this is the 8th one. They entered theatre around 3pm. The operation was successful and baby and mama came out healthy around 7pm though she put to bed on the 6th of February through cs by 5pm. The baby weigh 2.7 at 37th week. As a Muslim I prayed for her and do the necessary adhan and iqamat to her ears. I named her Farhan(my hapinness) She was doing just fine till I left to bury her placenta. I came back to check on her at her nursery with the nurses and left for my wife ward. I was eating when my wife said I should check on her again. On getting there I realised the doctor has placed her on oxygen machine and later told me that she needs to be taken to intensive care unit because she has respiratory disorder and I took her there around 12.00am with two nurses while I drove on the 7th. It was discovered that she has hbp,low sugar and respiratory disorder. The doctors told me two of their discoveries had been regularize and the major one is the respiratory disorder that they are still battling with. She was placed under life support machine from 12am till 6.30am before she finally gave up the ghost. I suppose to have gave the story earlier than this but the news just been released to my wife yesternight.

Oh noo so so sorry. Pls take heart. God will give you double for your loss

I saw your question for VBAC o, each time I want to reply, something else comes up.

My doctors told me I wouldn't be allowed to exceed 40 weeks. They didn't want to take unnecessary chances.
My appt was on Wednesday and I was set on giving birth before then.
The Friday of my 39th week, I went to a nurse to check my cervix. It was tight shut. I did scan to check heartbeat and all and baby was fine and healthy. I was going to do the castor oil but my mom and husband didn't allow me. I slept and woke to contractions. I want to believe that I willed her to come.

Labour for VBaC cannot be augmented (pitocin) this is because the pitocin causes the uterus to contract at a crazy rate and a scarred uterus could rupture. I kept my pitocin in my purse during labour, I couldn't risk and overzealous nurse or doctor administering it. (It was later used to expel the placenta after childbirth).
Labour for VBAC is like you're giving birth the first time. It can be very long. I was in labour for 22 hours. It was painful and towards the end,I screamed for CS but my angel doctor told me he wouldn't do the CS since I was so insistent on VBAC. (You needed to see my shakara and sharp mouth every time I went for ANC)
I stayed home for the first 9hours of my labour. I wasn't keen on being at the hospital and rolling on the bed and not allowed to be with my support system. While at home, I got on one of our gym equipment and exercised. Anything to encourage baby to come faster and not stop contractions.
I was cool at the hospital till I couldn't be cool anymore, let me tell you something, 8-10cm is a big bad biatch. It will make you curse your momma and deny God. 8-10cm is usually the shortest phase but it is the most painful.
I got to 10cm and Dr realised I had posterior or is it anterior cervix. There was no way baby would come out. Imagine being on constant 10cm pain for 3 hours!
My doctor agreed to CS, although he told me if I could hold on, the anterior cervix would open up. He kept posting me hour to hour till I spent 3 hours o. My baby was doing excellent. I insisted they check her every now and then( the nurses wan die for my hand that day)
Just as I was being prepped for theatre (shaved and change of clothes) the matron checked one last time and I was sent into the delivery room instead. By the time my husband and sister brought the blood and drugs needed, my baby was out and cosy in the warming thingy.


That's it.

Thanks so so so much. God bless you. I want to give vbac a trial as I have done all the necessary test and all is well. The reason for my first cs was bp 150/90 which the doctor said will skyrocket if am allowed to go into labour.

As at 38weeks on Monday, my bp was 120/80 and doc said I will be allowed to try under the conditions you stated above.

EDD has passed by 6 days and nothing yet,
I've walked long distance, danced, ate dates, pineapple juice n all I get is frequent Braxton Hicks which leaves me breathless. I had a cervical sweep done 2 Saturdays ago during my anc but it didn't do anything for me.
I've got another appointment tomorrow, hoping for a miracle cos I've been scheduled for induction on Monday if labor doesn't start on its own.
I'm so exhausted. I know it will end in praise.

yes.. They will do it at 36weeks.am 34 weeks. So,I will be doing that two weeks time

Ok! It's not painful at all its just an xray where you will be given something like ruler to put in between your thighs while they do it and wittin 5min you re tru.

mama.. I don't know the difference o, the nurse that attended to me during my last antenatal just told me I will do pelvic assessment to check my cervix (the position, or how wide it is) and the weight of my baby.

I think the one you are talking about is done thru scan where they measure the length of you cervix, weight of baby and so on .

Pelvimetry xray is done when you have gotten to 36 weeks to know if baby can pass tru your pelvic.
