6) To improve memory retention, try recalling you salient points during your quotidian activities like showering, walking or eating etc.

7) Take it a course at a time, don't jam pack a lot of information to your brain at once. The memory locations in the human brain is infinite but its randomly accessed however it should be serially programmed for maximum performance.

Ask questions both in and out of class.

9) Learn to write legibly and neatly particularly in exam condition.

10) Finally believe in yourself.
