Please do you think this may apply if you don't have a certificate (there is a "to whom it may concern" letter)? Omedic: You could go for an online pg cert or masters. It's faster than a NOUN degree. With a pg cert you should be able to raise your CRS score to 450, because your educational level moves to ''Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years '' .You can finish an online pg cert within 3-5 months depending on your funds and the structure of the program. I would go for a more flexible program I can finish faster if it were me. Also make sure the school for your online degree is accredited. Read the fine print.
The certificate also doesn't have to be only postgraduate. It can be from a college or an undergraduate certificate. The important point to note is that the certificate or diploma can't be done before your 3 or 4 year bachelors degree. It must be after. This is for those who want to evaluate their pre-degree courses.
It also can't be a professional development/ training certificate. The certificate must be graded or have credits and you must be able to receive a transcript at the end of the program (for ECA) |

Thanks QSola QSola: You download an application form from the ICES BCIT website then fill it, submit with your international passport and statement of result if available. Then scan and mail all these back to ICES. You can then tell your school to send your transcript either by email or courier. They have a way of figuring it out. I didnt send my statement of result but they were able to link it with my transcripts |

Please correct me if I'm wrong, isn't Ottawa part of Ontario? mamacajah: the younger the child, the more the cost...e.g babies tend to cost avg $1,200 and toddlers $850 in ontario monthly while if you are fortunate, you can get a home day care for $750 monthly... the cheapest locations for childcare in canada are Manitoba, Ottawa and Quebec..about $500 per month... |

Please house can I get an advise on this. Can a "to whom" letter suffice Litealpha: Dear good people, please I need your advise. I did a course sometime ago but was not issued a certificate as it was a credits only course. The school is willing to send transcript for ECA and also issue a 'to whom it may concern' letter, stating the times I completed the programme and also explain non-issuance of certificate. Can I evaluate this with my BSc and claim crs scores for 'two or more certificates/diploma'? All responses are appreciated. |

I'm a newbie here but I think that NOC C jobs are not considered for this program. If you are submitting any document, it should be in either english or french language. You mat need to translate the doc to any of these two if its in another language. All the best Cherokee: Please, I would want to find out if one can combine different job roles in different skill category. Let's say one is in category B & the other in category C. Also, for those that got their police report from non-english speaking countries, did you have to translate to english or you just submitted like that. Thanks. |

Congrats to all ITA recipients, please I have a question: in claiming points for "two or more certificates, diplomas and degrees", can I use my BSc and a couple of certificates earned via online study from U.S schools? Is the latter accepted? |
