Sometimes it openly amazes me when men like you come on here to say my wife is this and that
you don't sound all that good too, you have your faults, yes she might too but in all I see written in your last posts, you are not far from being a bad husband too

Phew
U sound so pained.
I can only interprete that to mean you have the same bad attitude with the wife and you don't think anything is wrong with being disrespectful to your man and not being able to compromise

How can you tell such barefaced lie? Orlu was comatose before Okorocha came in and gave it lease of life. The projects there are more than 100. Do we start from the schools or stadium or the dual carriageways or the complete streetlights or the inner village roads? My friend every part of Imo State for the 1st time can point something done in their village.

On Monday the world will know who runs Imo State. Boys are getting fed up with you and your types.
My friend don't give me that propaganda speech.
Which Orlu are you talking about? Is it the Orlu that is close to Mgbidi or another one. I have been coming to Imo State since 2003 and I am telling you that it was better during Udenwa's time than now

liefdesverhaal:
I am a regular user of this forum. For the sake of privacy and objectivity... I have to start a new tread.

I need the opinion of mature and especially married people.

I am a man in my middle thirties, Married with 2 kids(One with another woman). I am in a dilemma. I am married to a Woman that have different view of life. We are from different culture and educational background. We see life differently. I am a quite, conservative, loyal, and kind but very principle Man whereas my wife is very open, extrovert, kind, and care free person but She is very very disrespectful and abusive. She abuses even in public without knowing the implication of her actions.

I believe in Family union and the sanctity of Marriage. I believe that a Man is the head of a family and the provider and protector of the family. My wife believe that a Man should be the provider of the family while she takes control of the family.

Perhaps it is too much to describe but how do i make my wife to see life the way I am seeing it? I want a simple, quite, private life that I will love, cherish my wife above any other thing.

I want to go back to school to obtain a degree perhaps Maters degree but my wife just want me to provide for the family without pursuing my dreams or career. She is not interested in anything I want to do as long as it does not affect the family income.

I have thought of leaving her but the idea that I have a child with before with another woman without marriage, then another child with her(Which I love so much) scare the living daylight out of me.

I have tried talking with her about my fears and worries but that seems not to help. I have contracted other people for advice but nothing is helping.

I am scared of starting a new family after 2 kids with two different women. How do I make this woman to see life from my angle(I am willing for concession)?

When I was a child, I planned for a wife that will love and adore me... Support my dreams and take care of the family... But it seems I am having opposite of this right now.

This is a true life story... Please help a brother...
So when you guys were courting you could not see the signs that she was below your intellectual capacity, unable to carry on meaningful discussions, lacking in depth and mentally unstimulating?
I pity you though cos there's nothing can be done to salvage your situation.
You're both set in your ways. She sees you as a dreamer and you see her as too much of a pragmatist.
It's just the way both of you are.
The only thing could have helped was if the love is still there cos love allows for compromise but from your story I deduce that there's no love.

Family / Re: Men And Their Cheating Ways. by litetias(m): 11:29pm On Feb 06, 2016
Vyolet:
Men have no reason for cheating, they just cheat anyway.
If a woman is beautiful physically, knows how to cook, has a reserved character, turns 360degrees in bed during sex, a home keeper, submissive, working class and she bears male and female kids, a man will still cheat on her, Unless the man is disciplined.
It is therefore safe to say, there is no such thing as wife material as defined by men.
A man would claim to love slim ladies,he ends up marrying one, after sometime, he goes out to cheat on her with chubby ladies, this is same for men that Married chubby ladies because they prefer them, this doesn't stop them from going after skinny girls later.
Women should still look good after childbirth, she listens to this advice and try her best, rigorous exercise, starvation, slimming tea become her regular routine, after all this, the man will still cheat on her.
Mcttchew, tired of ranting.
No keep ranting.
Because it's better to blame men for everything that goes wrong than to remember that those people they are cheating on their wives with are women and if women were not such hoes then men would have no body to cheat with.

Guy reason with your brain.
If you're a politician your dream and purpose is to be at the top like president or senator.
If you are a lawyer....... to be a SAN or Supreme court justice.
If you are a footballer..... to play in the Epl, La liga or Serie A and the Uefa Champions league where the top players in the profession play

My friend talk about what you know.
What's the point of celebrating anniversary when the present is bleak for Imolites.
Imo and Owerri in particular is my second home because during my university days in Okija I usually spend the weekend in Owerri clubbing or with my class mate at his home in Ngor Okpala or with my IMSU friend at Bishop's Court or with another friend at Poly Nekede.
Finally I married from Orlu so I know what I am saying when I say Okorocha is nothing but a charlatan.

My prayer is that he will not unwittingly turn Achike Udenwa to a performer and Hero(development wise) in Imo State and Orlu zone in particular. Udo diri unu
My wife is from Orlu so I do go there from time to time.
There is no single project that he has done there.
The whole place is underdeveloped. I pity them.

Politics in Nigeria is devoid of both principles and ideology.
It's all about selfish interest.
Even confra that's not as serious as politics does not condone cross carpeting but Nigerian politics which is a serious matter and should have serious politicians standing for beliefs and ideals on how to better the lives of the people lacks gravity.
I have never heard of a politician leaving the Republican party for the Democratic party or vice versa.

Mustay:
We need a massive reorientation.

Just the other day at a newly tarred road in the commercial city, I was amazed that people had dumped waste bags in the gutters. Surprisingly, na supposedly big big men and women dey work and live there.

It's become a culture thing that even parents can't correct their children on proper etiquettes. It's easier to blame govt, lack of dustbins etc but what about our roles first If we performed our duties well, we'd have the gut to challenge LGAs for not living up to their offices.

It's the same way shop owners and residents remove dirt from their gutters then leave it by the road side - that's like using a basket to fetch water. You see little children not knowing what toilets are these days because their parents have taught them outfield yoga at an early age. Or is it motorists and passengers who throw orange peels, nylons etc out of their vehicles (which sometimes hits another motorist or passenger) Sometimes I want to pour water on these people, especially adults that should know better.

I don't want to continue with this but the attitude of the average Nigerian is distasteful when it comes to being responsible to the environment.

*spits*

. . . into a tissue paper and not on the road btw!

People criticizing his comments are those who didn't take time to read them.
What the man simply said was about those who are going to other countries to seek asylum as refugees.
The geneva conference that allowed for this asylum thing only recognises those who can't stay in their country again because there is seious war or they are being persecuted.
Is there serious war in Nigeria, is anybody being persecuted
?
If you have your visa and travelled legally to other countries Buhari's comment does not concern you but if you travelled with visit visa and on getting there apply for asylum citing one stupid reason like that you are being persecuted for being gay or some othe BS that is what Buhari is kicking against
