Basically, only PDP members who are no longer relevant politically are joining Atiku in his dead coalition. Not even a single incumbent governor is going to ADC with him.

As it stands, El-Rufai, Amaechi and Peter Obi may not even join the coalition. El-Rufai and Amaechi will float ADA while Peter will go solo again.
The pdp ticket is now available for obi and I see him getting it.....he will be lured and if I were him,I would go for it.....PDP would give obi what lp couldn't

The PDP has collapsed.

What remains with Wike is merely a carcass, which he uses however he pleases. He may even shove it down his drunken throat, for all we care. He can zone the presidential ticket of that carcass to himself and run against his D-Lord. Nigerians are indifferent.

We are moving forward to rescue this country from the grip of the notorious D-Lord, whose leadership has brought nothing but pain, anguish, hunger, and starvation since he took office.
PDP is going to poach obi to come get it's ticket, that's the only way they can revive their dieing legacy.....PDP would still give obi what lo couldn't....

You need to read the history of American politics. Even at home here Buhari is a lesson. He cried on national TV and at the end,... Merger / coalition bailed him out. If he's destined to, nothing will stop him .
Not with this nonperforming administration which is to their advantage
Do you remember how many govs the coalition brought in for Buhari at the time ...the pdp govs are not having anything to do with atiku come 2027 and have openly distanced themselves, how do you intend to achieve anything without govs not even 1.

Wike finally drive atiku out of pdp,now is the best time for obi to move over to pdp, yesterday's meeting had Wike written all over it and atiku got the message,Wike controls all the structures now.....obi should move to pdp as it would give him what labour couldn't.

That’s why there’s a coalition coming. So that areas where Obidients can’t reach, the rest of the members of the coalition will police there.

Obidients will no longer do the job alone in 2027. So, don’t bank on it.
In your dreams....2027 isn't going to be a 2 horse race, take that to the bank.....obi would decide to go it alone as his support base would be disaligned if he decides to run with atiku and those charlatans in that coalition knows they can't pitch a xtian southerner against a Muslim one who is even incumbent.,...oga the odds are stacked against the coalition...they cannot find an all size fits all arrangement and that's their bane.

I didnt say wipe out - significant reduction is all that was needed. Also payment for subsidy was done by government so its very different from narcotics which are not paid for by the government. When you control the payment over something, you are Lord and Master and can easily deal with those who are corrupt if you want to - especially if you are president and have the entire law enforcement and security apparatus at your fingertips!

Look, subsidy was less than N300 Billion at a pont not that long ago. For it to balloon to over N7 Trillion was black magic and a seriosu govt could address that. So no one should say BAT was bold. He was cowardly. He went after the vulnerable ony.
The truth is there was no money to keep paying subsidy and this govt in their wisdom thought it best to end it and stop borrowing for that.....bring it to a minimum u say,u really underestimate the capacity of Nigerians to steal.....why get head ache over a problem you can just end and forget about.

It could always be reduced to the minimum with political will. Your hero claimed to be bold by removing it. That was cowardly. Because he could only face the poor and deal ruthlessly with them. He could not face the wealthy corrupt and deal ruthlessly with them.
Which would you choose as a leader if not the easier option ..that's smart if I must say ....for dangote to come out and cry about how formidable the oil cabal is,then you know it's no easy feat.i just gave you an instance of America not being able to wipe out narcotics snuggling despite their level of sophistication.

Investors do not need your forex. They are actually bringing forex into the system. More liquidity for the govt does not indicate more FDI. FDI is primarily private sector driven.
While expansion in govt activities can lead to GDP growth, you need to understand that what drives FDI is basically local demand and purchasing power. Nigeria has local demand in terms of population but the trouble is the purchasing pwoer has plummeted over the years as the naira was devalued.
I asked you for evidence because TOTAL just invested $6bn in Angola last year. If that had come to Nigeria, you won't be telling this story but will be touting that as one of the successes of this govt
How do you expand the economy without govt spending.....most govts often have to spend their way out if recession.....civil servants get paid, contractors get paid thus creating employment, increased investment in social welfare such as hand outs and grants and many more ways govt can expand money supply but you need the production to match it to avoid inflation.

Forex liquidity is am important factor in FDI attraction, how do you want investors to retrieve and relocate invested capital, this was a major problem that caused low FDI in the Buhari years.

Nigeria had a large population but very low on per capita....we need to increase capacity and get money flowing in the economy and we are just about decontracting the recession we have suffered majorly during the Buhari years and this is majorly as a result of the under utilised economic potentials we have failed to harness which this govt is trying it's best to open up.

Nigeria alone got about $8 b in oil and gas investments in the last year and it's seeking to become the oil and gas hub in Africa, this is huge as it portends huge potential for the economy.

In all of your permutations, you didn’t factor in the hunger in the land and the general disenchantment with Tinubu.

Oh! That doesn’t matter abi?

And hey, Obi’s political stock hasn’t changed one bit.
There has always been hunger in the land.....Buhari won 2nd term with hunger and insecurity pervading the land.....votes are even easier to buy now than it was in 2015.....forget all the obidients noise in the urban centers, the real magic happens in the rural far to reach areas, how would obidients counter vote buying and under age voting in far away Katsina or Kano or deep in cross rivers jungles.

Nigerian politics is still majorly driven by the elites and they always have a say over the masses that does the voting......APC was able to proof that with Buhari in 2015 and tinubu had the majority elite consensus in 23.

How? Something 5 successive govts were unable to do...the best thing was to end it and stop the sleaze.... almighty America hasn't been able to stop narcotics snuggling despite fighting it for several decades....how do you want to stop people especially Nigerians not to steal.

What is the impact of highest crude price on FDI? Do you know what FDI means?
Can you show with verifiable facts that there is dwindling investment in oil sector all over the world?
What is the cause of the divestment? Why is it happening under your APC?
Lol. Tax reform will double GDP. I really don't know what shite you guys are smoking. But it is darn strong
High crude prices mean more liquidity for the govt and more Forex for the markets, investors find that very attractive.

If govts make more monies from tax reforms,it makes them more liquid and this leads to an expansion in the economy through more govt spending this would affect GDP growth.

You can argue all you can go check oil and gas investments in the last decade and compare to 2 decades before....you would see the difference.

Global financial crisis happened under PDP and we didn't hear all these stories
GEJ has the highest crude oil prices in the history of Nigeria ...there is dwindling investment in oil the world over and thus wasn't the case pre 2015,most oil majors are already divesting off shore assets....you really need to put all these in context and would be wrong not to consider them.

Tax reform, local refining, financial sector expansion and agricultural development which state govs aren't tapping into can double our GDP in the next 3 to 4 years.

Out GDP is just being rebased due to the naira devaluation and our growth outlook is about
3% which is still our average since 99.

Things would have been a lot worse if we were still paying subsidies and defending the naira.....tinubu has set a goal of $1 trillion GDP and that's a really bold and ambitious plan.... We can but gradually

There is a slow growth ccum recession world wide since COVID. There has been near stagnation in economic growth even in the west, the US economy is also suffering negative growth as we speak,it's a global phenomenon

Once he dropped shetima, his base in NE is gone.
In NC =only kogi is sure for him, that's if he reconcile with yahaya bello.
Nasarawa can tilt to pdp or adc.
Plateau can vote tinubu if he chose to work with the present governor,if not, he may not get 25%.
Kwara is a very difficult one him.
The governor is not his person and the former governors are still strong and influential and not with him.
Benue is hard to call 35% for him considering how he handle the banditry issues there. People are now having the perception that's jihad that's going on in the state.
Niger state use to be APC stronghold due to bubari's influence but that's no longer there.
Abuja can till to tinubu due to wike's infrastructure drive but if he doesn't handle the issues of civil servants and land allocation/demolition well, he may not get 50%.
Shetima's influence is only im borno,he couldn't even win neighbouring yobe and ribadu can neutralise what ever influence he has in Adamawa...NE is atiku's base and he still has it...tinubu can only attempt to come as close as possible on the ballot but tinubu can hold his own in the NW with the support of the govs as they did in 2023,he will still get huge votes from NW,might not win all but would definitely get more than jigawa he got in the last election,if he can still get ganduje and kwakwanso to his side Kano is done and dusted,Sokoto is guaranteed, kebbi, zamfara, naduna and Katsina can go either way but the margin if he looses can't be more than 10-15%

No Yoruba would leave tinubu for atiku or obi when a Yoruba man is president and he has all the state govs with him.

SS is the battle ground and he will surely get more votes than he did in 2023 and only obi would be his head ache there if he decides to run and not atiku, amaechi is only a noise maker.....obi would not have it funny in his region if he decides to go with atiku as some realignment would be inevitable except he decides to run alone,he should only pray MNK isn't released to come continue is Biafra agitation and trust me that can easily be an ace tinubu would want to use to counter him and they both can't work together and he is equally has popular as obi over there all he needs do is call for election boycott and Obi's votes would be up in smoke.
PoliticsRe: Is Kwankwaso More Popular Than Shettima In The North? by Lithiumite: 4:13pm On Jul 01, 2025

Kwankwaso is more popular than Shettima by far!

And Kwankwaso’s state alone can almost cancel out what opposition candidate can muster in the entire Northeast (Shettima’s zone).

But the big question is, will Kano voters vote for a Tinubu/Kwankwaso ticket just because Kwankwaso defected to APC? Are Kano voters that daft? I guess not.

It’s like expecting Ndi Anambra or Southeast to vote for Tinubu because Peter Obi defected to APC. Because as popular as Peter Obi is, one wrong step will kill all of his popularity in the entire Southeast in 24hrs.

But maybe it’s not like that in Kano. Maybe Kano people are easily led by their noses and told where to thumbprint.

But all this simply betrays one thing - that Tinubu is scared to his pampers. While his supporters litter here saying things to excite themselves, Tinubu knows that the reality on ground says something different.

In 2027, those defecting to APC won’t attract much votes to Tinubu; especially in the Southsouth. You would be daft to think Tinubu will win Delta because the governor defected.
You have political heavy weights in the north and kwakwanso can be at oar with atiku if he were in a party like pdp but he still did great with is small Nnpp...it's funny how obidients think obi would get more votes than he did in 2023.... What you guys always forget is that the dynamics would be different in 2027 and so many factors would come to bear.

Power of incumbency, money and ability to galvanise support across class and ethnic lines, religion and tribalism....tinubu would still have far more appeal to any northerner than obi anytime anyday just for being Muslim and he would have far more support in his region than he did in 2023.....the battle ground are the swing states like Parts of NC and SS and many of this places especially the SS many factors that worked against the APC in 2923 won't be there In 2027.....it's obvious 2027 won't be a 2 horse race and that would work greatly in Tinubu's favour, everyone would hold their regions tight and any where your opponent is winning just try to keep the margin as tight as possible, that was how tinubu was able to beat atiku because states atiku won,he came second with very narrow margin, Katsina was just about 5k difference and even 4k in other places

It's same way obi wou6also loose votes if he decides to work with atiku rather than going it alone.... The opposition have a bigger dilemma because tinubu already knows his weaknesses and is already doing everything to work on that
