Ofunaofu: I can understand Governor Radda’s pain, he knows the ADC tsunami will sweep him away come 2027, just like the APC tsunami swept most Northern PDP governors in 2015.
He should rather direct his question to his party, the APC, and to Tinubu, and ask them to tell Nigerians what they’ve done with the trillions of naira saved from subsidy removal.
Not this vague explanation the government keeps giving that the money has been invested in 'critical infrastructure.' Which critical infrastructure? The notoriously fraudulent Lagos-Calabar coastal highway? He was asked a question in an interview and he had to reply accordingly.......over buhari's dead body would APC loose Katsina to opposition. |

Redoil: rebasing means to type big fake paper GDP figures just to deceive there minions and foot soldiers thinking foreign investors will be deceived too. . The rebasing exercise may reflects the evolution of Nigeria’s economy and incorporates imaginary and fictitious figures economic realities. It may also say more than the size of the GDP, but about providing more accurate and comprehensive data for policy formulation and investment decisions- an insider familiar with the process said. But you added it to the scorecard if GEJ in 2014 when it was last done... Leave these ones too to blow their trumpet. |

I’ll take them seriously only when they secure alignments with heavyweights like Kwankwaso and Tambuwal. For now, their efforts seem more like posturing than a real threat. Tambuwa is a member but he is no threat, you have senator wamakko who is a die hard tinubu ally and who calls the shots in Sokoto to deal with him,the gov is also there. |

emkz: The defectors have a common denominator.
They are all aggrieved.
One of them slapped a woman in a shop and he railed against the Muslim-Muslim ticket. He was kicked out of the senate. Today, he is joining coalition to save Nigeria.
One was dismissed for awarding grasscutting contracts to a company he had interest in at an inflated cost. Today, he wants to resuce Nigeria.
One was in charge of transportation. He refused to build maritime university in the Niger Delta but built a university of transportation in Katsina State. He refused to build railwat between Kano and Lagos or Benue and Lagos, but started railway between Kano and Maradi. We were told his wife was a contractor to lucrative parastatals under his ministry. Today, he wants to rescue Nigeria.
Finally, there is one who mismanaged privatization of government assets, completely destroyed NITEL, messed up power sector reforms, joined someone to commit $12billion naira to repay debts and pay commision on the debt. Today, he wants to rescue Nigeria.
Rescue Nigeria from who exactly? That's the problem many of us have with that coalition, non of them has come out to state how they can better what the man on the sit as done or what better options they have for Nigerians, all the propagate is grievance towards tinubu for being off the sharing table and being rendered irrelevant. |

Wike granted a press conference. Amaechi appeared on Channels TV and said Wike must respect him as his boss. Wike asked for a time slot and revealed that Amaechi's wife was collecting 4 billion naira monthly from NDDC. We have not heard from Amaechi or his wife.
Now, Wike insulted Atiku. Instead of Atiku to ignore and face his coalition, his aides are giving attention to Wike.
Wike would call another press conference and abuse Atiku again.
Going to 2027, Atiku may have to fight Wike as the opposition instead of focusing on Tinubu. The threats to Atiku's 2027 ambition are Wike, Peter Obi...and Atiku. Wike is enough to handle all of them, dele momodu is still faxed from the right hook he got from Wike...struggling hard to piece together a single line of meaningful response. . .we told them Wike isn't someone you would want to be in opposing sides with politically....amaechi drew first blood and he got an upper cut, which is still dazing him that he can't reply over 72 hrs......Reno is still in the corner loading his own bullets and keyamo too can also do some fighting..... onanuga, that information minister, bwala are doing a very poor job in propagating this govt. |

Dbegining: The last fuel scarcity lasted for a full week! Even in Lagos. One whole week! That's less magnitude?
Secondly, not everyone who applies for the student loan is given. Many people have dropped out of school cause of this. But does Tinubu care? As far as he's able to drain people dry, then all is fine to him.
Lastly, the protests that have happened under this government are not massive revolts? Are they a demonstration of massive support? Fuel scarcity when? Can't even remember, there are be far more days if sanity than uncertainty..... Now think of those that got the loans and youth corp members that got improved allows ces, they are also voters too. There was still petrol scarcity last year so, stop talking like there hasn't been any fuel scarcity since the inception of thia Tinubu's government.
So, all the protests that has happened under this government is not massive revolts right? It's massive support? Which protests, which fuel scarcity,I can not even remember. But I am glad I don't have to worry about not having fuel and queuing for hours even days just to get it,that alone is a plus for some people to vote tinubu.....has the opposition been able to muster a protest like the one against GEJ in 2012? |
Politics › Re: Want To Beat Tinubu?, Make Peter Obi ADC Candidate - Kayode Ogundamisi by Lithiumite: 6:15am On Jul 06, 2025 |
onatisi: The fact that both of them are in the same boat and party is enough . We don't even know if Atiku will be the candidate but ADC needs a strong northern figure to use either as main candidate or vice candidate. Definitely Obi will be one of them ,let's wait and see who they will pick with him You people are jokers, atiku getting the ticket would even make it easier for tinubu, there are also die hard atiku haters up north who would rather vote the devil than him,so also die hard tinubu supporters who still feel obliged to make him president a second time, then you have southern votes that would be forced to vote tinubu just because atiku is a northerner....politics isn't 1+1 makes 2,it's way deeper than you think. |

PHIPEX: This is what every reasonable Nigeria knows and I hope they listen.
In 2023 APC had 19 states Governors, PDP had 11 state Governros, LP had zero Governor.
2023 election Tinubu won 12 states, Atiku won 12 states, Obi won 12 states.
Tinubu won 2 regions, Atiku won 2 regions, OBi won 2 regions
This clearly shows Obi is the strongest Politician in Nigeria today The dynamics are now different, tinubu is now stronger in the SS than he was in 23,NC is also aligning accordingly,he has power if incumbency and his party is growing stronger also don't forget that the issue of Buhari cabals who instigated land mines in his part like currency change, fuel scarcity, insecurity, Muslim muslim ticket, all these won't be issues in 27,most of the votes the opposition got in 23 were protest votes against APC. |

Ikaeniyan0: Check where Obi got majority of his votes in 2023, if Atiku gets the ADC ticket, do you think Atiku will get up to what Obi got in the south east in 2023? If Obi is not the presidential candidate of the ADC, the turn out in the south east will be low and Atiku will still struggle hard to have up to 49% of the vote.
ADC will only cause damage to the PDP in 2027. LP paved the road for the APC in 2023. In 2027, ADC will play the same role the LP played in 2023 We dey tell them but they are so blinded by hate to see the reality which is as clear as day that the odds as currently is,is stacked in favour of tinubu but they won't listen, they then come here in 27 waiting how obi won in his bedroom. |

onatisi: It is a separate game from 2023 , if the two opposition titans remain under one party ,Tinubu will have no chance ,. What happened in 2023 was that Obi went separate and Atiku went separate . But their combined forces and votes and with the way the north is now in terms of insecurity and the poverty in the south . Tinubu stands very little chance of winning Being on the same team doesn't mean same as being in the ticket,if neither of them gets the "presidential ticket" note, presidential....there is no way votes won't be lost, they both got individual votes because their supporters wanted them to be president and nothing else. |

sleek214: That's very true. Only Atiku/Obi ticket can defeat Tinubu.... Apart from delusional obidients, the other people pushing Obi are all APC members/supporters... e.g. Festus Kayemo, saying Obi should not accept to be Atiku's VP, Datti, his brother left Tinubu govt, he (Datti) secretly joined and is pushing Obi to contest...Aisha Yesufu, a delusional obidient or perhaps she knows she won't get the cash and publicity she got at the last election..... Obi has already agreed with Atiku before the coalition was formed but am afraid some of these talk might get to his head and he will pull out.... seems obi is greatly influenced by his social media followers/ advisers If obi becomes atiku's running mate,NC,SW and SS votes would not be guaranteed and there would also be realignments in the east as you still have those who would be averse to a northern presidency.... If obi gets the ticket, the north would rather just stick to tinubu to finish his second term and get out.... We keep telling them, all the odds still favour tinubu. |
