When and where did Tinubu promise to hike school fees for ALL students and then give NELFUND loans a tiny fraction of those affected huh

Do you think that your Obidient principal copied Lagos akotileta jẹgudujẹra progreThieves who hiked LASU fees astronomically, while failing to employ well paid professional teachers for the free education of all children, like the UPN progressive governor who established LASU 43 years ago?
Lasu on universities ranking is still above that one you have in igbariam....

The worst security agency to have an altercation with are the customs, those guys have the most terrible weapons handlers of all the security agencies, do you know how many people they have killed for the flimsiest reasons.

Tinubu Did not mess up any country, Nigerian leaders did. If you continue to deceive yourself by using almost all your reserve to fix your exchange rate, there will be a time when you will finish all your reserve and then the true value of your currency will be known by everybody.

Initially, the song was that it is not possible to grant student loans. Then the next chapter was that nobody will be able to meet the criteria for the loan. Now that it is evident that the loan scheme is so far successful then the new song is that school fees are high and it is not every student that is given including those who did not apply for it.

Please when politicians mess up let's say it but where they succeed, let us also acknowledge it. Then we can request for something else.
Obi can never do any wrong to those people but every other politician is fallible.....let them show you one single post they have criticised obi's errors and we will show you a dozen we have criticised tinubu despite supporting him.....stoicism of the highest order, bloody hypocrites.

Was anyone paying you free monthly stipend of #20,000 per month for 4 years or any amount when you were at school? That's almost #1m per student free of charge and #1.2m free Government money for students in 5 year degree programs.
Abeg leave matter for Matthias. Tinubu na Baba.
Pls leave those ignorant whelps, its really annoying how unappreciative Nigerians are.....many dont even know govt is paying subsidies on the electricity they use, they dont even know how much govt spends in subsidising agric inputs for the very food they eat.

Mehn.... Schooling on credit? Bunch of irresponsible leaders
If tertiary education were to be appropriately valued commensurate with western standards......your entire generation wouldn't be able to afford it.....you would have ended up with school cert or A levels at best......it's really annoying how under appreciative Nigerians are.

How much were school fees before Jagaban of Borgu?

What are school fees now huh
Tertiary education in Nigeria had been one of the cheapest in the entire world.....this has culminated in poor outcomes and grossly underfunded youth camps for decades.

The hyper inflated price of rice is not so relevant to this conversation.

What is more relevant is the hike in school fees affecting all students while NELFUND budget can only cater for a small fraction of those impacted.

Is this agbalọwọmeri, robbing the masses to pay Tinubu, condemnable or is it commendable huh
Even the obedient criticising this innovative policy, their principal took tertiary education beyond the reach of the masses by increasing fees in state institutions without no palliative to alleviate the burden.

When i was in school 2008, fees was so cheap no need for loan. Imagine N9,800 school fees for a whole session

Tinubu messed up the country now he is giving us loans

grin
That's same subsidised 9,800 is the same reason the schools are decrepit. If you had paid what was due, our tertiary institutions would've been better.

A lot of Nigerians here on this forum are simply unintelligent, I m amused by most of the comments I read here. Education seems like a waste of resources in Nigeria. Little wonder the politicians are taking so many Nigerians for a ride.
It beats me hollow the numbers of inherently ignorant lot we have in this country and many espousing it with so much confidence.

it can be fix, stop displaying your ignorance here. During Jonathan government, terrorists killed in hundreds and still election holds in all these areas.
Did anyone tell you elections can't still hold in thise places? You are the one obviously ignorant.....setting up telecoms or ICT insfrastructure takes a lot of effort and resources,u can set up a mast today and it gets blown up tomorrow.....why do you think the telcos dont have any presence in certain places? If it were easy or derivable they long would have......I am a lagosian and I have transversed widely in this country, there are some places in bali lga in taraba where you can't find network and you have people living there.

See the kind of grammar the so called graduate is releasing

Which school did you even graduate from?

10 years ago abi, why not go back there and find out the progress of communication networks.
What progress? There are still very large swathes of demography in nigeria as we speak with no direct access to telecoms services.... do you want to argue that? Even the entire USA isn't covered let alone a 3rd world country like Nigeria.

This Akpabio has ridiculed his family name just to please Tinubu. Funny enough in highest 10 years from now this same Akpabio will become old and out of power and will be secretly regretting his useless actions of today.

Starlink network is available all over the world even in war torn countries. Even in Iran where Iranian government has been making every effort to jam starlink network, it's still accessible to millions of Iranians, including in Ukraine where Russia have used their highest level of missiles to bombard and destroy all network systems, starlink still work there talk more of Nigeria.

That massive rigging you evil people in APC plan to do in 2027 using manual election result collation so as to return this failed government of a known kleptomaniac tax master will definitely fail angry
You have done the exact same thing you are abusing akpabio for........ do you know how sensitive election results are and its significance to national security if tampered with.......which country would rely on a foreign network outside its direct control for such significantly important activity like elections.......it can be easily sabotaged, the US givt or even Elon can and will have direct interest in election outcomes in nigeria and can easily compromise the system if they want to.

I thought NYSC should have exposed some of you beyond your states and local government na.
Oh sorry, not all of your graduated from school or had opportunity to serve.
I served in Ebonyi state in Ezza North to be precise just a little less than 10 years ago and I can say authoritatively that there was no single bank in the whole of Ezza North at the time. We had to go to Abaliki before we could make withdrawals. I knew how many kilometers we had to trek just to make a call, we couldn't even receive calls because there were no network. How will REAL TIME transmission of results work in those areas? Or election should not hold in those areas abi?
So, if them ask you no, you go answer say banks dey all local government in Nigeria abi? Dey there.

No Be Juju Be Dat?
Leave thise guys, their case is totally hopeless, they know nothing about the country they live in,dont even understand the systems, same mandatory transmission if results they are yapping on about, they don't even have any contextual idea of the concept...... people who lack knowledge of the fundamentals of their own nationality now feel they can be trusted with their political choice of who should be president, ofcouse it's someone who thinks and talks irrationally like them, imagine the chaos these obedient ms would have caused if they had the presidency .

PoliticsRe: We Don't Need To Have A Governor To Mobilize For Tinubu - Wike by Lithiumite: 9:00am On Feb 08
AMINDA:
It was not just Kano. In 2023, a lot of Northerners, inspired by Elrufai, actually felt it was unfair for power to be retained in the North after Buhari. And this showed in the voting patterns from the North and the "Buhari’s party" factor. Only for Tinubu to win and then proceed to betray all and sundry while performing woefully at that. Even his supporters from his region now claim the North worked against his election when the data clearly shows otherwise. You are very correct when you say the dynamics of 2023 and 2027 will not be the same. Time will forever be a gentleman. Tinubu had better work hard in making his Southern alliance work. Asides from poaching all governors, there's been nothing to show that he has gotten more popular among the voting electorates in the South than he was in 2023.
I trust the north in upholding fairness and equity by ensuring the south gets its 8 yrs,the north are far more honest on this than even the south.......govs are a factor, govs in the North helped tinubu garner the numbers he did in 23 even if he didn't win some states the figures were still far more significant and if atiku got anything close to those margins in the south he would have won tinubu. He got the numbers in Sokoto, katsina,Kano and kaduna all these factors were based on the govs support, same as in the SW......you now tell me someone with 17 of the 19 govs up north isn't stronger than he was in 23 remember the obi factor that took everyone by surprise in 23 has been dymistified and atiku will still fail woefully in the south as he did in 23.......the odds are obviously stacked in favor of the incumbent and its as clear as day.....if the coalition goes north, there will be resentment in the south and if they go south there will be indifference in the North while tinubu still has his structure intact against any possibility.
PoliticsRe: We Don't Need To Have A Governor To Mobilize For Tinubu - Wike by Lithiumite: 7:25am On Feb 08
AMINDA:
But the governor of that largest voting base in the North was in APC when that same godfather snatched the state from his hands. Tinubu only won 12 states in 2023, barely half of those states were APC states. Why couldn't the 21 APC governors, including that of Lagos, deliver their state to Tinubu? We will all learn politics together!
It's understandable for that godfather to win his home state but with what margin did he do that against tinubu.....kana votes were one of the Most decisive that got tinubu to aso rock......tinubu trounced same atiku a northerner in same kanowith with very wide margin.......need i say that the dynamics for 27 are totally different from 23 and the stakes alot higher........the Ganduje camp is still very intact and you now have a sitting gov to add to that if you don't call that massive and a huge strength to tinubu then your optimism is rather too compulsive even for your own good.

Wike is a desperate polithiefcian scrambling to salvage what is left of his dwindling political carreer.

Who ask him if we need a governor to mobilize for tinubu in rivers or not?

why not focus on mobilizing support for Tinubu in the FCT where he controls?
He should go and do all these things in FCT and leave RIvers alone for Fubara.
OR Has somebody has told him that they dont need fct minister to mobilize for tinubu?

Olosshi drunkard that ogogoro has condemed his intestine finish
I wonder how you people reason,is the fct wike's base? Will he be fct minister forever? This shows hw is very in touch with his people and he is a far more reliable and dependable ally to tinubu than fubara.

One would think the Lagos APC spokesperson is speaking under some kind of influence, in fact I must confess he is a mæd man because the argument being made defies logic.

The claim that the Senate “did not oppose” electronic transmission of election results is a convenient distraction.

What matters is this: did the Tinubu-led APC Senate under Akpabio make electronic transmission mandatory? No, they didn’t.

Rather than engage with this central issue, the APC has chosen deflection, attacking Peter Obi instead of answering the question Nigerians are actually asking.
