Mr man if you don't have facts then keep silence. Your Samsung can't sell low end products in Nigeria hence they will still struggle in battle for supremacy.

You study market with perception I study market with empirical evidence. With the level of income among Nigerians transition or whatever name they call them would still hold the market. Your Samsung can't sell low end device in Nigeria market with same quality. All the argument has always been high and mid end products. The level of income among many Nigerians is low.

I have studied the market so I know what am saying. The only thing that might change is tecno changing it's strategy as a result of competition but Samsung topping the market is not possible

Samsung can not dominate the market because customers are price sensitive over here. Samsung may be targeting mid range phones but they forget that low income earners are there to deal with. They constitute the largest numbers of customers in Nigeria

nokia's success led to hubris. they did not see that symbian was a dead game on time, and they then invested or partnered with Microsoft, which turned out to be a bad gamble. microsoft also made the same mistake of underestimating apple.

transsion is less than a 5th the size of samsung. all samsung had to was watch them, understand their market, and then yank it out from under them.

Don't compare Nokia and Blackberry with Tecno.

We all know android is the most popular operating system being used in Nigeria, customers evolve but the brand refused to.

From symbian,Nokia refuse to produce their smartphones with Android instead they tried to create their own operating system which was a total failure from there they move to windows which was also a bad deal.

Bear in mind , Nigerians haven seen Tecno with 3.5 Inches display screen and Android operating system didn't even waste time to switch,I was a symbian fan boy and switch to android.

Imagine buying a android phone for #12k then,tell me Which other brand did that? I'm talking about 2011,2012.

Same with blackberry, people were getting tired of moving around with charger, every thing got bad when they allowed android to use BBM.

That was the end of it.


You see,don't compare cos Tecno have come a long way.

In my opinion tecno will still defeat Samsung in d midrange series. Samsung already established itself as d major competitor wit apple. U can't now be fighting everybody in d market for space or u will end up like nokia

Thank God for OPPO, Infinix and co, big brands like Apple, Samsung and Huawei would have make us remain in 3310 Nokia.
