Shiloh, the annual prophetic gathering of members of Living Faith Church Worldwide International (Winners Chapel) worldwide is set to have its 2021 conference from the 7th to the 12th of December, 2021.

What is Shiloh? History of Shiloh

The modern-day Shiloh is an annual meeting of Christian believers of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (A.K.A) Winners Chapel, held at the church’s international headquarters in Canaan land, Ota, in accordance with a mandate from Joshua 18:1 and I Samuel 1: 3.

This global event started in 1999 and has been held every year since there. It typically takes place in the first week of every December and it also marks the end of the church year.

The objective of the celebration, according to the church, is to herald God’s visitation to his people.

Millions of people had attended the event by 2012. Bishop David Oyedepo said that up to 160 countries had signed up for Shiloh 2015, with nationals from 55 countries present in Canaanland, Ogun State.

Theme of Shiloh 2021

The theme for SHILOH 2021 is MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. The Anchor Scripture Is Romans 8:35-37.

Bishop David Oyedepo in the official statement announcing the event made the declaration that, “At Shiloh 2021 God shall be unveiling the mystery behind operating in the realm of more than a conqueror to every participant.

“God shall be terminating the days of struggles of every participant, and everyone shall return with a new name ‘More Than a Conqueror’ from Shiloh 2021.”

Venue for Shiloh 2021

Shiloh 2021 is set to hold at the Church’s Headquarters, Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Nigeria and will be shown at Viewing Centres at Winners Chapel Branches.

The annual event can also be watched live at any of the designated Shiloh viewing centres nationwide. A list of all accredited Shiloh 2021 viewing centres in Nigeria and abroad will be made available to the public by the church on the Shiloh official website.

History of Shiloh
In the holy book, Shiloh was the major Israelite worship center before Solomon’s temple was built in Jerusalem. Shiloh was chosen as the worship center of Israel after the conquest of Canaan. Recall that after the Children of Israel conquest of Canaan, the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant were installed in Shiloh? making Shiloh the first center of worship in the Promised Land.

References are made to Shiloh in the Books of Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 1 King, Psalms, and Jeremiah. According to Judges 21:19, the Shiloh of old is situated north of Bethel, east of the Bethel–Shechem highway, and south of Lebonah in the hill-country of Ephraim.

Shiloh has been synonymous with miracles; from Joshua leading the Children of Israel to victory after worshipping God at Shiloh, to God using his prophet Eli to open the barren womb of one of Elkanah’s wife Hannah, who later conceived and bore the Prophet Samuel.

I asked for centres where one can watch it live in Abuja around Area 1 side since last week and not one Winners Chapel member has provided an answer.
I am a member of RCCG but will be in Abuja this week if not, I will be at our camp ground.

It's better to do a Google search for a Living Faith (Winners Chapel) branch in your area.
However, Living Faith Church Goshen pastored by Bishop Abioye will be showing the event live. The address is Living Faith Church Goshen,

About the Experience

The experience is a first class gospel concert that serves as an altar for believers to worship their creator. It started as a thought inspired by God in the mind of Pastor Paul Adefarasin – the Senior Pastor of House on The Rock Church (HOTR).

It now boasts of being the largest gospel event in Africa, with a yearly attendance of over 500,000 people at the venue, and millions more watching online from all over the globe – the experience Lagos is probably the biggest gospel concert in the world.

The inter-denominational event brings together creations of different ages, creed, occupations, and languages to worship the creator.

The experience exists to provide a platform where worshippers can pray for the country and worship God together regardless of their tribe, denomination, creed or language.

The Experience 2018 Theme, Date & Venue.

This year’s edition marks the 13th edition of the annual concert. It is scheduled to hold by 7pm on December 7th, 2018 at the Tafewa Balewa Square, Lagos with the theme ‘Jesus, Our Peace’

According to Paul Adefarasin, the senior pastor of House on the Rock and convener of The Experience 13, the inspiration behind the theme is to highlight who Jesus is, especially in the world we live in today – the Prince of Peace.

In his words;

“regardless of the outcome of the forthcoming elections; peace is the ultimate candidate that we should all support and must be the candidate that wins. “Peace (as I know it) is not the absence of tension but the presence of Justice”.

The Experience 2018 Guest Ministers/Artiste

The experience over the years has featured renowned international and indigenous artistes such as;

Don Moen, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Timi Dakolo, Travis Greene, Nathaniel Bassey, Vicki Yohe, Chioma Jesus, Tope Alabi, Eben, Tim Godfrey, Mike Aremu, Glowreeyah, Onos, Eno Michael and Chee.

This years’ edition will add JJ Hairston, Planetshakers and ADA to the list.

The concert is open to all at no cost (It’s free!). You can attend the event at Tafewa Balewa Square, Lagos by 7pm on December 7th, 2018. Be sure to go on time to secure a good spot.

What is Shiloh?

The meaning of Shiloh
In the days of old, Shiloh was the major place of worship for the Israelites. It is sometimes translated to mean peaceable. Shiloh is a place of rest – where God gives his beloved rest from all the troubles of life.
From the days of old, the name Shiloh has been synonymous with miracles, break-through, dominion, and even victory, as God always ensured the Children of Israel were victorious when they worshipped Him at Shiloh. Till today, God is still working miracles at Shiloh!

God has always worked miracles through his chosen Prophets at Shiloh. According to Joshua 18:1, the Israelites were victorious after Joshua led them to worship at Shiloh. Also, in the account of Elknah and Peninnah in 1 Samuel 1, it was at Shiloh God wiped Peninnah’s tears by granting her request for a son, using his Prophet Eli to open her barren womb. She later conceived and gave birth to Samuel, who grew up to be upright, and was mightily used by God.

Radio is the mass media reaching the widest audience in the world. It is also recognized as a powerful communication tool and a low cost medium. Radio is specifically suited to reach remote communities and vulnerable people: the illiterate, the disabled, women, youth and the poor, while offering a platform to intervene in the public debate, irrespective of people’s educational level. Furthermore, radio has a strong and specific role in emergency communication and disaster relief.
There is also a changing face to radio services which, in the present times of media convergence, are taking up new technological forms, such as broadband, mobiles and tablets. However, it is said that up to a billion people still do not have access to radio today.

The World Radio Day

UNESCO’s Executive Board recommended to the General Conference the proclamation of World Radio Day, on the basis of a feasibility study undertaken by UNESCO, further to a proposal from Spain.
A wide consultation process started in June 2011, carried out by UNESCO. It included all stakeholders, i.e. broadcasting associations; public, state, private, community and international broadcasters; UN agencies; funds and programmes; topic-related NGOs; academia; foundations and bilateral development agencies; as well as UNESCO Permanent Delegations and National Commissions. Among the answers, 91% were in favour of the project. The leader of the project, the Academia Española de la Radio, received over 46 letters of support from diverse stakeholders, including the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB), etc.
The date of 13 February, the day the United Nations radio was established in 1946, was proposed by the Director-General of UNESCO. The objectives of the Day will be to raise greater awareness among the public and the media of the importance of radio; to encourage decision makers to establish and provide access to information through radio; as well as to enhance networking and international cooperation among broadcasters.
The consulted stakeholders also proposed ideas for the programme of celebration: extensive use of social media, annual themes, a dedicated website enabling virtual participation, special radio programmes, radio programmes exchange, a festival involving key partners, and so forth.
On 14 January 2013, the United Nations General Assembly formally endorsed UNESCO’s proclamation of World Radio Day. During its 67th Session, the UN General Assembly endorsed the resolution adopted during the 36th session of the UNESCO General Conference, proclaiming 13 February, the day United Nations Radio was established in 1946, as World Radio Day.
