Really what are Joe Biden's real end goals?
Afghan shambolic pullout. Vaccine mandate to all. Opened the borders. Ramming down climate change initiatives. Downgrade US Israel Embassy
Enhance Iran uranium enrichment. Shut down pipeline then beg Saudi to pump more oil.Rejoin Paris agreement while China builds three times coal station capacity than the rest of the world combined.
etc.

A true modern dictator who answers no hard questions because no one is allowed to ask him.
So how Afghanistan is governed should be added to Biden's agenda?
The US has pulled out, it is the right thing to do, you should tell our president to send in soldiers to help the Afghan people if you care so much about their everyday life.
You could as well form a group of freedom fighters to go if the president rejects your idea.

BTW, do you know that the economy is recovering because Biden's admin is proactive, this is despite the surge in the delta variant of covid19. That's to show you he is doing better than expected. Taking a ravished economy to the height it is today in the midst of covid19 surge, please give the man so accolades.

Do I have an interest.? Of course I do. When the dollar is weak I suffer.
Arizona. I mentioned the latest expose yesterday, you can track back.
Afghan is Joe Biden disaster, You praise him all day all night While he is absolutely messing up stuff.
Biden has no issues with how Afghanistan is governed please, leave him alone.
Do you want him to send soldiers there so you can say Democrats like wars?
Are you expecting him to re invade the country? How will the actions of the Taliban in Afghanistan affect the dollar when the US is no longer wasting money there.

...concerning the Arizona audit...
Concerning your info on Arizona audit, you and I know that it is a ruse. It is just the figment of the imaginations of some conspiracy personalities, nothing about it is new.
It is not even as weighty as the cracken conspiracy self, so I'll pass.

Any conspiracy I'll listen to must have or surpass that of cracken lol.

About to burst a vessel in order to make a hero out of Biden.
He messed up the withdrawal real bad.
You cannot camouflage fire.Taliban misdeeds will be the downfall of Joe Biden.
You only care that Joe Biden does not look bad
When Taliban killed an 8 month pregnant women and poked her brains with a screwdriver two days ago, the media was lauding how the airport will reopen.
Reaction of Biden admin to the new govt . Yikes There are no women.Just men alone.
Your matter tire person o, what has the evacuation got to do with the actions of the Taliban in Afghanistan where they are ruling?
Why should Biden be held responsible for the actions of the Taliban in their domain?
Do we still hold Biden responsible for how Buhari is behaving by covering for his kinsmen too?
Don't forget that the US sold Nigeria weapons recently o.

What happens in Afghanistan has nothing to do with Biden because the US is no longer there.

Are you not the ones who post everything good about Taliban here?
Today they said they will use sharia law.All their top leaders are Mullahs, Mawlawis or Sheikhs, very educated clerics.
You can be sure that every law they enact is what Islam law orders.
I hope we shall not hear that they are not Islamic.
Four of those hard core jihadis Obama swapped for Berghdal traitor are in this list too.

Afghan is set to have a govt led by top Islamic scholars. 21 in this list are scholars. The govt of top scholars. Im waiting for their sharia version.

Their spokesman is called Mujahid Something. A mujahid is an islamic (faith) fighter.

So what is the business of the US with who governs Afghanistan?

They should rule with their sharia laws, it won't change anything in the US. After all, they are Muslims.

BTW, I noticed you haven't talked about Arizona since this Afghanistan issue came up. I like to ask, do you have a stake or an interest in that country or is Afghanistan now a state in the US?

Is there something you know that we don't know?

At some point, I had about 4 CC. I I rarely use them, so one after the other, they started sending me emails to advise that the credit card account has been closed since I am refusing to fall mugu grin.

I believe there is still 1 (MBNA) that's open aside my regular one posted here (Scotiabank). I don't even remember the password or the pin to that MBNA card. MBNA for reasons best known to them just left it open.

I pay up my CC ASAP as well before interest starts accruing.
Haba! What were you using the four CC for?
4 CC would ruin a finacially undisciplined person faster. Someone who lacks the ability to manage finances would be in lots of debt having such, thereby ruining his/her credit score in the process.

By the way, I think banks are now into CC business and using their CC is the best these days because they give better interests.

Hmmm. The marketers are everywhere grin

I religiously follow Dave Ramsey. He teaches about finances, debt, savings e.t.c
Nice way to go, everyone must know how to manage their personal finances in order to remain ahead of future financial ruin.
My problem with the banks though is that they are more like sharks, looking for ways to lure you to collect loans and they use telemarketing a lot these days over there. They will offer juicy packages and make sure you see the advantages involved but the real issue is that if you default, they will show up and drink you like chilled water.

Thank you Livelystone. Yes my credit score is in the 800s. I believe this is very high for North America. Despite the back throwing all stuff of credit towards my direction, I try to stay away from them.

I also have a line of credit on this account which I have never used. Ben and his friends would have to google that too.
Why wont they throw themselves at you for a credit score of 800? For such a credit balance, it means they already know you have a lot of cash, they want to cash in on you lol.

A credit score of 800 also shows you are not indebted to anyone. These banks have use your credit score to trace your finanvial dealings and most times your general operations because if you owe rent, child support money, and other bad attitudes, they'd just know through your credit score.

Run from their marketers o, they want to trap you so they can collect some from you.

It's very easy for some to sit on the fence, criticize and judge others. We were all here when Ben went for livelystone. Then he went about on how he was a pastor or something similar. I remember Goodvibes jumping in to defend him from the unprovoked attack.
Like someone mentioned earlier. Livelystone. I use to be an overserver on this thread as well and slowly dipping my feets in. You can also start contributing effectively to this thread. Let's see how far you would go before they turn on you.
You think i don't comment on the thread?
I say my mind and leave, I don't do group things unless it is what I believe.

I have said it times without number about how I lean towards the Democratic party, that alone should show you that I am not on the fence but as usual, it is now based on me instead of the issues i raised.
The fact that I mean towards the Democratic party shouldn't make me not criticize when they do wrong or when people are insulting others by calling them poor or even angry that they shouldn't say anything because this has to do with America and they are in Nigeria. This thread was created for discussions about the US and everyone has a right to say their piece irrespective of how different from ours it may be.

By the way. I don't come here everyday, but when I do, I comment on the recent issues at hand, including the recent pull out from Afghanistan of which I said my piece and someone here almost tagged me as anti islam or anti immigration because I didn't align with the majority on everything.

I'm disappointed this night as I was reading through each page of this thread seeing how Nigerians insult Nigerians for the things they are accusing Nigerians of just because they are not in Nigeria.

I'm ashamed of some of the comments I read here.

This is an American thread and everyone has a right to drop their opinion even if it will not change the situation in reality. What I don't understand is why some of you will be angry about the opinions of others because they don't mirror yours and then turn to shame them because they found themselves in Nigeria by birth. It is a real shame.

Intelligent folks would allow people to support whoever they want to support and let them make their opinions instead of demonizing them for not saying same thing as them and the worst of them all is the insult on Nigeria and the citizens because these people have a different view from yours.

If you don't support someone's view, then don't read their comments instead of throwing insults up and down and calling them names, broke shaming them or insulting Nigeria.

Prideoflincoln1, Salford, Ibime and co I'm referring to you. Show a greater level of intelligence by using a greater argument or ignore completely, but let this thread be what it was created for, which is to talk about American politics and the Biden presidency.

The damages this war has caused has been too devastating if we put everything in view.

Imagine soldiers who died when deployed, some of their families are grieving till today. Others who escaped death, some of them are having PTSD today.
Some who had stronger mindsets had dysfunctional families when they returned from their deployments.

Worthy of note is that some innocent men, women and children of this country also suffered loses from drone strikes. Many are grieving, but those who are making money from the war would have wanted it to continue. SMH

I'm not even talking about the amount of money being wasted o.

Other things that are too big to talk about are still there.

One thing to note is that managing, servicing and operating these machines are not child's play.

Yes that's why I earlier said he could still have squeezed out a win if not for his lack of empathy and how he handled the GF riots and Corona virus.

Unlike the Afghan issue, those other two factors were personal and affected alot of Americans at home.

Some also argued that the earlier boom in economy was as a result of Obama's policies.
You are right, the Afghan issue is not as personal as covid and those riots are to the people. If only he showed empathy, he'd have won the election.
But I don't think Trump is an overly bad man, he's just like every other politician we have today. His only issue is that he is loud and undiplomatic but he tried in some areas.

And for the record, I was among those who thought that Obama's policies helped him too, but I applaud him for keeping the momentum going. See how mr Buhari has destroyed the little growth the last administration recorded.

I feel more for the children, especially young ones. The wives were aware of the dangers when they got married to soldiers. In the Nigerian military parlance, each officer believed Nigeria owes them one bullet, and it can be paid any time.
The wives may be aware of the dangers and perils associated with the job of the husbands, but in this case, the death of these men are avoidable or better still could have been well managed.

I have lots of feelings for service men because of the risk they face physically and mentally (if they survive at all). Imagine most of them end up with PTSD, others return maimed, etc.

This is why i am saying they should leave those lazy men who are not ready to fight for their freedom.

To all US soldiers outside the wire worldwide, I give you my salute, for your courage and sacrifices. May you return home peacefully to your family, in healthy and joy.

I extend my salute to Nigerian soldiers in the fight against terrorists over here too.

Yes. it's pathetic to be honest. The US and NATO should have gotten out sooner after taking out Osama Bin Laden. That was their man. They just wasted years and money. The only people that benefited from the Afghan war are military contractors and military equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
It is the military contractors that were fighting to keep the war going this long.

Better that it is ending sooner than later.

America and NATO relied on military intelligence which obviously failed. Biden never claimed to know more about Afghanistan than some US generals like the former guy claimed and lies that ISIS had been defeated several times. Biden even accepted the blame like a true leader should.

The Afghan army was a mess and this is where the US and it's NATO allies fckd up.

Anyway. The war is almost over now and we have Biden to thank for that. He could have extended US stay in Afghanistan, but he did not which is good.
I am glad that the war is ending too.
I love that Biden didn't extend or cancel the pull out, it was the right thing to do.

You see why I am angry, those lazy soldiers who allowed the Taliban to get modern gadgets without giving them a run for their money. My anger is that they wanted the Taliban that's why some have been acting as informants while others never put up any fight. They should stay and enjoy the Taliban they supported secretly.

Why do I feel like you have a thing against Muslims or immigration?
They are not evacuating all of them are they?
I understand your concerns but then because of the fears you allay doesn't mean the ones who can be assisted shouldn't many people arrived different countries as refugees and our humanity shouldn't turn them back.
I fault the withdrawal process but I will not solely blame it on him everyone involved has their fair share of the blame. He worked with the intelligence he got as he is taking his blame American allies and past administrations should take theirs.
Biden is not a failure and doesn't deserve this unnecessary criticism coming from the right wing.
First of, I want to say I have nothing against Muslims or immigration. I pointed out the suffering going on in Yemen and how they should help those being subjected to hardship by forces beyond their control, or are they not Muslims too?

My anger is thst these men failed to figjt to keep their land, not even the slightest of ressistance for a week and now they want to run to a land where people used their blood to defend. Come on now, this is unfair to the women and children.

Finally, i never said Biden is a failure, I said his strategy in this withdrawal failed.

For 20 years ISAF worked with local translators, warlords plus a whole lot of afghans who helped their war.
After returning Afghanistan to Talibans, the local ISAF friends could be persecuted by the new rulers.
There is no explanation for the lives of these soldiers. I wonder how their families are doing now, not to talk about the other families who do not know who is among the dead soldiers.

By the way, do you know how many people have been evacuated from that land? Some men are not even translators. If they had focused on takibg away translators and their people, I don't think they'd have stayed till today.

I don't even know what to say to this but then there are a lot of people women and children especially who don't deserve this and I believe that they should be evacuated and given a chance for a better life.

I believe they are also evacuating their allies and those who served as interpreters for them as well the western forces owe this to them at least. They don't want a repeat of what happened in Saigon and with the Kurds so as for America not to completely lose its credibility of not standing with their allies.
See ehn, this is a wrong move from my perspective. In war, you cannot help everyone, especially pulling people from their places. If they really want to help, there are people in Yemen who are suffering, not taking away lazy men who never put up a fight just because they wanted it.

Secondly, some of these people have their special mission, they'd come to America and want to change their culture to the very one they claim to be running away from, others might be slipper agents.

Finally, in all honesty, Biden failed in his withdrawals approach, though he has tried in other areas especially the covid19 issue and economic recovery..

Come on people, let's not be ashamed to accept when we fail, it will help us get better and also feel better than those who insult us.
The fact that Biden's strategy failed in these withdrawals doesn't make him a total failure as a president. Its just like a student who did well in almost all his courses but one.

The Taliban spokesman has started seeing this as an economic migration.

OUT OF TIME : Taliban to BAN Afghans from Kabul Airport after refusing to extend withdrawal deadline amid fears of all-out war

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said no evacuation flights from Afghanistan will be allowed after the August 31 deadline - and warned any delay would shatter the uneasy truce at the airport and risk slipping back into war.

Thousands are being airlifted from the Taliban-seized capital every day - but UK ministers have admitted not everyone will make it out before the cut-off.

Taliban chiefs have previously warned "there will be consequences" if the Western forces cross the "red line" and don't leave on time.

And Mujahid confirmed at a press conference today: "August 31 is the time given and after that it's something that is against the agreement.

"All people should be removed prior to that date. After that we do not allow them, it will not be allowed in our country, we will take a different stance."

And Mujahid said Afghan nationals will no longer be allowed to go to Kabul airport and warned the terror group are "not in favour" of letting Afghans to leave the country.

Mujahid said the US should not be removing "our doctors, engineers, our educated elite" from the country. grin

According to a translation on Sky News, he said: "We need those people in the country, we do not want them out of the country to work in their institutions."

James Heappey, Britain's armed forces minister, has warned that Kabul would turn into a warzone if US and British forces go against the Taliban's wishes.

Meanwhile, Mujahid also claimed there was no list of people targeted for reprisals - despite reports of Taliban death squads pulling people from their homes and executing them as they hunt for anyone who helped the US and UK.

"We have forgotten everything in the past," Mujahid claimed.

CIA MEETING
It came as Mujahid said he was not aware of any meeting between the Taliban and the CIA - but he did not deny that the meeting took place.

CIA Director William Burns met Taliban leader Abdul Ghani Baradar in Kabul on Monday, two US sources told Reuters.

Leaders of the G7 countries - Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States - are due to meet virtually later on Tuesday to discuss the crisis in Afghanistan and President Joe Biden to stay longer.

Countries have evacuated nearly 60,000 people over the past 10 days and troops are desperately trying to meet the deadline agreed with the Taliban for the withdrawal of foreign forces, a NATO diplomat said.

"Every foreign force member is working at a war-footing pace to meet the deadline," the official said.

The White House has signalled it won't extend its rescue operation beyond the end of the month.

The UK's Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said the evacuation effort is "down to hours now, not weeks" as he conceded the UK's involvement will end when the US leaves.

We are all asking the same question, till now nobody has explained how Taliban overran Afghanistan army so easily and I believe refugees are being taken based on humanitarian grounds same happened in Syria, Libya etc, most western nations see this as an obligation since especially to keep the world stable too
Now look at this way.
Has that ever worked? They took in people from nations with same issues and now their children are threatened or their culture is being questioned by the same people they want to help. Worst of all is that these people try to enforce the same laws they claim to be running away from.

I have a question, is Yemen different from Afghanistan? Why not the westerners go there to evacuate innocent children and women who have been constantly brutalized by the conflicts if they so love to offer humanitarian supports?

We have more people suffering in the world from hunger, children who never wished that on themselves in Africa, why not come and collect these vulnerable children who are likely to be more appreciative in the future than those who'd want to enforce their beliefs on their host nation, after all they are moderate in beliefs.

Why is it that the nations where these same thing occur have one thing in common?

See, I have no issues with the desire to help someone, my problem is that these people left defending their rights when they should to shouting freedom, but they don't want to go to their like minded brothers around them, instead they desire to run to a very distant place with a different culture only to be trying to change it to what they were running away from.

Make I just relax my mind abeg.

Though you have your point but USA and western nations are no only one taking Afghanistan refugees even since last year there been Afghanistan refugees going different places, only reason we hear of USA and co is because they dominate news, even Uganda took in some Afghanistan refugees, many countries are taking in refugees from Afghanistan as at today.
My question is why will they even take people from their land, these people who that never stood against the socalled enemy they are running away from? They allowed modern ammunitions to be transferred to them without a fight.

If they so hated the Taliban I believe they'd have done things to decimate them before now.

As it is, they don't have any issues with the Taliban, they prefer them that's why they never offered resistance in the first place, so why run away or being shipped freely by the West.

As for Uganda, that's pure noise, I promise to keep shut when they arrive. It is not to talk about receiving, it is the evacuation that I am talking about.

Let these people walk to Bangladesh, Pakistan, Qatar, etc if they are so desperate for
the deceptive freedom they are talking about.

Some terrorists will use this opportunities to get to these places and threaten their children for being who they are.
SMH.

They will go to the US and UK and start looking for sharia.

In Austria Afghan refugees are raping girls. I don't know. Women and children should he the first to be evacuated but almost always the women and children are left behind.
My point is, they don't have to take anyone from Afghanistan, afterall it is the same religion. Or are they not in support of it anymore? Are they going to be changing religious beliefs?
If that's the case they should come to Nigeria and take us all away from the nonsense these same people are perpetrating, using the north as their launchpad. Imagine what is going on in the nation where we have a religious law that tends to be superior to the national law for some people.

The men, women and children should fight for their land and future if they so love it, after all they were acting as informants against the interest of the westerners.

As per their demand for sharia in another man's land, I still don't understand the rationale behind that. Who does that if not that the so called free nations allowed such nonsense. In their quest to effect a so called right they are endangering their future kids. SMH

Imagine you will leave your land to another land to demand for the very thing you claim was oppressive in the first place. That's witchcraft if I may add.

Zendi made a comment I saw as I glanced through this thread and I am wondering too.

Why is the US and the west evacuating Afghanistan people from their land when they should have stayed and protect it in the first place?

They can take the interpreters but why others?

Who made the West the god of the whole world?

Why are the nations around Afghanistan not evacuating their fellow religious folks?

Imagine grown up men running away from their land, for what exactly?

Are they not mostly Muslims?
Don't they support sharia anymore?
What is bad with the sharia laws proposed by the Talibans

My opinions is that the West and the US are causing problems for their future kids with this action because some of those rescued may be slipper agents sent to cause mayhem later.

Finally, why is the media microphoning the activities of the Taliban? The media have hyped the Taliban more than the Talibans themselves.

Too many nonsense going on right now.
