budaatum:Time will tell. In the world of today, things can happen and when they do, nobody will look at the causes but the reaction. |
Ibime:Oh...I will try to explain my point of view the best way I can. Don't you think if Zelensky was a very smart politician he would have avoided this collision with Russia somehow? No country enjoys going to war when she understands the collateral damage that may be involved. In this case, Russia knew it would lead to an all out escalation that would result to the sanctions they have now but they went in anyway. The golden question is why? Were they being pushed by someone unseen provocation? I do hope you know that some people will never hit you first but they will try as much as possible to use someone to provoke you so you can feel offended and strike back. I have another question from your comment, was the issue of how Russia is governed really important to the west or it was their trojan horse for whenever they decide to provoke. In the world today, we tend to judge reactions most times instead of looking at what the causes were. Europe wanting or preferring Russia to be a member wasn't out of love but due to the game of politics. Russia is closer and Russia is also a very strategic ally that would help as they target China's global steady rise. I am open to discussion because no man is an island. You may not know this but your quick thinking concerning this inflation last year helped me to save some dollars, though i still got some bruises. I did more research when I saw your post and discovered you were right. I told my friends who ignored because they were carried away by the hype of Tesla and some other stocks, but I saved some of my cash. I even told a boss that he was gambling with a volatile system but he laughed at me then, he regrets now because his portfolio has reduced a lot. What I am saying is that we can comment our opinions and we can discuss to learn and help ourselves instead of the war we have here daily. My reason for being here is because I have my money in the American economy and I need to follow up in every possible way. |
Ibime:How comfortable for you to dissect and respond to what you feel suits you. I raised different issues from a president, I mean, the most powerful man worldwide calling a global inflation the name of another president. That is not wrong for you because he is in a line you work with. If another president had done that, or let's say the last president, wouldn't you have raised an alarm of his incompetence or cluelessness? I have always preferred the Democrats but I will never accept everything they do, this is what objectivity is about, instead of just receiving everything as it is being analyzed in the media. I raised another point about how China's economic and military growth has caused a panic to the US and her allies that they are creating an agency to counter it. My question is, why is the growth of another nation a cause for alarm for a people who chant freedom? Does it mean the freedom and growth of other nations must be how they define it? We know they won't attack China directly but will create a mine field for china to walk in so as to justify their plans that have been in hatching. Finally, I don't care if you quote me or not, my issue is if you are ready to discuss like a mature person who is in a public forum not a dictator who wants puppies for control. |
Ibime:The way you comment in this thread shows how controlled you are. You hardly make your points, instead you throw jabs up and down and expect someone to jump into the gutter with you. Know this, I don't come here to act like a pig in the mud, I say my opinion, if you want to discuss them do but instead you always try to force people to swallow whatever you drop and claim others are wrong without making them see from your angle. Isn't this Hitler pattern too? My issue is with the Putin price hike used by president Biden, that's really the expression of cluelessness in my opinion. My take is that the president should find a way to sort the inflation instead of playing the blame game. By November, those Republicans will take advantage and win majority because the economy is a major issue in elections. Secondly, you talk like you don't understand international politics. You act like you don't know that Russia has been a target for decades like China is now in the radar. (We know that they will never confront China directly instead they will use a smaller nation to push their agenda in order to sanction China down. When that happens, people like you will forget to see that they are angry that another "sovereign nation" is being systematically targeted). The only way for the vultures to bring down the Russian economy was to throw a lot of sanctions on them by instigating what is going on. You cannot judge what is happening in the present without looking at how the issue has been going on for almost a decade in the Russian speaking areas of Ukraine but since those you always follow what is analyzed in the media you will accuse whoever questions the origin of the issues in that region. I have always said Russia was wrong to attack Ukraine, but trying to overlook the regional issues that led to this present war is akin to the parable of the ostrich. Don't respond to me with tantrums or jabs in your one-sided view on issues if you want a response next time, or better still, scroll past my comment like I do yours if you are not open to discussion. You use "you Nigerians" like you are from Mexico or like Nigerians shouldn't speak on issues. Isn't this another extremism? |
Putin price hike huh? SMH When election comes, we will see if people will care about if Putin is that president of your country or not. Face issues headlong instead of playing the deflective shield. As it is, Putin will allow the war prolong because the war seems to be profiting him... So called sanctions and propagandas have been ineffective and Ukraine is still suffering from being misled by vulture nations who only deceive naive and weak minded leaders of weak nations to go to war for their selfish gains. |
SUPERPACK:Fact! People who don't travel or dont have anyone over there will argue though. ...and right now, it is becoming cheaper to rent a home in the US than to own one because of property tax which has increased. Case is different if you have an annual income of over $100k plus being a prudent spender. |
budaatum:What ![]() This piece is timely...thank you Buda... I'll continue to watch. |
Ibime:Exactly why I never joined the Tesla craze when the price went up. I saw the drastic rise and had to abort my desire to purchase anything that has to do with it after my analysis lol. By now, I'd have been kicking myself... Tesla and Truth social were two deals I ran away from after my personal considerations, if not I'd have been angry at myself by now. For truth social, I was late to the party, I was never going to buy the top in any stock (not since covid) because the market would always correct itself eventually. My target is studying two industries for some time now, pharmaceuticals and EV, especially breakthrough products and see when to push in. ... and please belnavino3, do not buy anything Luna or doge coins at the moment. In short, do not spend your cash on any crypto endorsed by Elon Musk because it will pump and dump on you if you are not fast enough to pull out on time. |
seunny4lif:Lol, I was told same. It's a recycled story that flows through generations and the fact that India hasn't qualified for the FIFA world cup since I can remember made the story a little legit to me then. But I've been asking jokingly where and when the match took place and till now not even the old men who were confident in their analysis of the event could say it. The only thing they say is, what do you want to do with the time and place the match took place? It's a fake story yet seems real. |
seunny4lif:Lol, what year and venue did this match took place? I've been asking people but no answer yet. |
pocohantas:Lol, which Elon Musk? Someone that will soon run away from Amber. It will shock people. By the way, her net worth is about $8m and $7m of it came from their divorce settlement. She openly made a pledge to donate the $7m divorce settlement to charity but hasn't done that since she received the money. This is to tell you how deceitful this woman is. Besides, she doesn't have the money to pay, but according to the system, the money would be removed gradually from her future revenue as they come. She's a future debtor lol. |
Jimasun:Between 2015 and 2019 Buhari was the most hated man, but it seems most of you guys hate Tinubu more. One thing is that you can dislike a person and their actions, hate, on the other hand, is dangerous and cantankerous. Disagree with people but when the disagreement has gone beyond ordinary, then it is a problem. I have seen too many comments expressing hate against Tinubu on this forum by young men who should be using same energy to better their lives. |
Potopoto thread. SMH. |
It is becoming a joke everyday, the presidential seat. Imagine! |
Ganduje played his opponent. The guy might be seen as a clown, but he's a very smart one. He acted like a friend after the judgment at first only to find the loopholes in the case and stuck with force. |
Jennyclay:You just confused me sis. My answer to the first bolded is "yes". The teachers cannot discipline a child after the parents have given an ultimatum against that. You have to understand that many of them (teachers) would be sacked and the public will drag them, tag them and call them names if they discipline any child. After all, many conclude and judge from the first post on social media instead of objectively seeing through the posts. The answer to the second bolded statement is clear on my comment. I said "many" and it might interest you to know that they are the majority. To the third, how is that possible since the children are at home from 4pm or 5pm till the next day and even on weekends? You last statement of "...charity begins at home" is confusing and it contradicts your stand in this issue. I thought you said the schools were supposed to have the responsibility of instilling wisdom more than the parents since the kids spend more time with them and they are also paid? |
okoroemeka:As per your last statement, that child is already psychologically damaged. She may become a nympho as she's already opened up some parts of her that are not supposed to be opened at this stage of her life. |
delpee:Of course my friend. One of my rules is to know when, how and where to say certain things about people to their family members, especially after I study their approach to issues. I am very close to the family. The mother is close to me and the dad too is a friend of mine but he is not in Nigeria. He comes every December and returns January. I try to not overburden myself with things that may haunt me because this is her son and you know some mothers. She may not say anything but may be holding some grudges. |
Jennyclay:Stop trying to cover up for the defective attotides of so many parents today please. How I it possible for a child who's not in boarding school to spend more time in school than at home? As for your take about disciplining the children, are you asking for discipline from the schools or what? Have you forgotten that private schools are afraid to discipline pupils because most parents have warned them off it? Well, in this case, I blame the school for concealing the incident, but the action of the pupils in the video shows the disfunction in the family unit today. The skill at which the child was engaging in the sex should show you that the parents have failed, or maybe, pampered her into that level due to "wokeness". They are not new to that act at all, both herself and the boys. I need to shock you with this. Yesterday, I went to visit a family friend. I called the son to help me with his phone to check for something, which he did. As I went to his chrome to browse, I was shocked to see the different tabs were filled with xvideos, brazziers or whatever they call it and other porn sites. I became irritated and surprised that a 10 year old child couldn't check for anything else in his phone but sex videos. I wanted to talk with the mom but I didn't because I can't actually find a way to bring the topic up with her. My plan is your talk with him and let him know the danger of such action. |
RenaissanceGuy:His action was uncalled for or a best foolish, but retrieving the award from him would have been worse than his offense. There were two other guys with much issues than him, i mean criminal cases and their awards were never taken. Also, he resigned which is smart. In all, emotion is a part of us but should never be used as the platform for decision making because it is temporary. Logic should always be above emotions. Men should please learn from this, Smith is trending in a bad light because he wanted to be given accolades for publicly defending his wife by the same people who are now condemning him. Talk about wokeness and hypocrisy lo |
Sheggy13:Lol, immediately I saw Kidjo on the list I made a statement like, "Kidjo again, big problem for the Nigerians listed". The woman is something else in the international scene and when she's nominated alongside you in the grammy, just know that your chance of winning has reduced by half. |
budaatum:Can you imagine, Buda will always be Buda, na wa! You know how to run away and separate yourself when you are cornered in a discussion or argument and you know how to throw others (supporters who are around you) under the bus by bringing out your location afterwards. My question is, why engage in arguments so keenly when you don't understand fully how the issue is over there like you claimed? And to bring the UK into it as if she is better than the US is comical. The UK has no opposition that has the capacity to checkmate the ruling party so you think nonsense don't happen there or you are trying to use there as an utopia? Old glory UK knows she's living in past glory and thanks to brexit they wil soon face some tests in economic negotiation with other nations when the time comes. The truth from what I've observed is that Buda serves one man, himself. He can throw anyone, including his friends just to get out unscathed in an argument and i have noticed that so many times since this thread was created. SMH. |
basilico:Lol, come which home bro? Too many jagajaga people are in the GOP of today. |
benalvino3:Truth is that I'm not neutral but objective on things like this. I don't think anyone should be a neurtral in the political climate of today because we'll all be hit one way or the other. I mean towards the Democratic party but the way they want to force everyone to accept what they say or do, I mean their ideologies, however unnatural it seem is what I don't like. I'd rather speak criticize that aspect than run along with the crowd because sometimes, the majority can be wrong. In this case today, they are redesigning our thinking and beliefs to their ideologies, you become an enemy if you question it. That alone is autocracy redefined! The fact that the media hammers on something or people on social media hammers on same issues and they cancel dissenters were the reasons I started trying to look deeper than the surface on issues instead of just rolling along and be called smart for parroting same lines and thoughts of people which in reality, I'm just one of the numerous programs around the world. |
budaatum:I like to ask. Do you think Biden knows about the dealings of Hunter, both his business dealings in Ukraine and China, including his laptop that's being talked about in the media? Please think carefully before you answer and try to be direct too. If yes, then why was he not stopped from being the president or at least he should resign as a honourable man. If no, then judge Thomas may not know how deep his wife went in the operation. Truth is that, Judge Thomas may not know if his wife sent those texts, at least no message has been tracked directly to him from his wife's phone. This alone should exonorate him from the brouhaha of resigning. At least, he should recuse himself henceforth from cases relating to the issue since they are closer to home. Biden got a pass from Hunter's drama and even became president, so why is the judge's case different? Judge Thomas can argue that he never recused himself from cases because he never knew if his wife had a case relating to it, at least this deep, but y'all wouldn't believe him because he is already designed by the media to be slaughtered. The man should bear his shame for marrying a woman who is stubborn but he shouldn't resign. That's too extreme and those pushing it are the ones who'd be explaining it away if his leaning favours their crusade or political platform. |
AmazonTopaz:The woman sure did bad and it is clear that she was a major instigator and conspirator of the nonsense that happened last year January, but it is enough on that. Whatever hammer the law has should be dropped on her without pity, but in all, I have never seen where the man made a statement or sent any text to buttress what the wife did, so I don't see any reason why people are calling him and seeking him stepping down because an adult who he married, someone who's an entity that can be sued individually did something foolish. It is a very known fact that some women can be so stubborn, who knows if she doesn't listen to him at home. The man is free from her foolishness, at least for now since there's no record indicating his support on the issues surrounding his wife. He should at least bear the shame of marrying a stubborn woman but for stepping down, that's a far cry. |
budaatum:That's what we all hope, it will be good for the world. |
budaatum:Trump's best weapon is divisiveness and that man knows how to use it optimally. As for interest, it is ok to have an interest, but to operate in such a manner as it is today, it wil only return the country back to where they are coming from. It's like both parties have moved away from the era of compromise for a better nation into extremism and that alone is a terrible trigger as to what will happen next. The few guys who are in between trying to find a common ground for nation building are being canceled by their own parties, SMH. As the moderates are being canceled by their parties, the nation is drifting farther from the center. |
gambojimeta:Of course bro, fox is also a program medium to their audience. They're many and they are mainstream. |
gambojimeta:I do not like Trump because of his manner of approach but one thing I am certain about is that even the Democratic party also operate in the divisive politics today. It is very clear and undeniable. They can not be exonerated from this muddy type of politics in the US today. They love it, enjoy it and spread it through certain media outlets and their analysts on social media because they hope to gain from it by playing the saviour of others, but deep down, it is clear that all they do is only on surface. It won't take one long to understand that they are not clean as they say, it is only a game to win more votes. It is just a choice of two devils today with the Democratic party still a little better than the Republican party in terms of how they operate in my opinion. Ask me, I'll still support a Democrat over a Republican if there's no other option. |
DissTroy:CNN may not even talk about it or maybe only touch on it for a day and move on, this is what I've been saying. There are certain media that are used as a programming tool, people are already trapped and will believe only things they say, that's some kind controlling program which is what CNN and others have become. When you question them, the bots already programmed will call you ignorant or other names but what they don't know is that they are already mentally enslaved and redesigned. I see it here every time I come in, people spreading what one person analyzed on twitter and they question your sanity when you question their analysis. The fact that I mean towards the Democratic party doesn't make me stupid enough to not see that they can be wrong sometimes. |
Anything politics touches dies slowly. The SCOTUS will go that way if politicians keep up with this attitude of theirs. The senators don't focus on qualifications anymore, it is now partisan. SMH With the way the US is going in their political space, it is only a matter of time before they destroy the once beautiful place. Patriotism is now in question, all thanks to divisive politics. |
