osazsky:Seeing a Man United fan trolling a better club than theirs is really an irony. How can a Nigerian have such farmland to clear in 2 days with just only a machete. You mention Fergie as if he's still in the business but you forgot that Liverpool have more UCL trophies than yout Man United, SMH. By the way, Fergie won his two in 25yrs, Klop still has more years to meet up. In conclusion, I see you are always ranting in Liverpool's thread than you show your support for Man United in their thread, that is the perfect definition of pain, jealousy, and frustration cum depression, combined with a retrogressive memory facilitated by the abysmal performances and the continuous fall of your club over the years. Its almost 10years now without the EPL and counting... You hate Klop, I understand, he actually rejected Man United for Liverpool, that alone shoul be a reason to hate but calling him average shows you are either not living in this planet or you are the Nigerian John Snow (you know nothing). |
pinacole1:But you people used to say Ronaldo needs just 10 ordinary people to deliver na. Now, how are the players faulty when he doesn't need world class people to deliver like y'all always chant? What you fanboys to Ronaldo and Messi fail to understand is that football is a team sport. You are as good as your team's combined efforts to hustle for a win, if not, you will be just one good player but less than overwhelming like both of them have been this season I remember how Ronaldo spent 4 seasons at Madrid without winning the champions league, just only one league trophy and cops de rey, it took Madrid some investment to buy players that made the team to conquer Europe consecutively, but y'all would rather point out Ronaldo at the end of the season, forgetting that one man alone cannot do exploits without being helped. Messi inclusive, he had Iniesta, Xavi, Alves and co to compliment him, but y'all fanboys would only chant his name after a successful season. They both should play ball now that people are playing for themselves instead of them. |
What a thread. No one is ready to learn, unlearn and relearn. This is what affiliation causes though. Happy new year to everyone though. |
What a final |
dboY1123:How long have you known her and how come she knew your number in her head? Just asking before i make my comment. |
Richy4:Both of them are the same but the woman slapping the man is an expression of what she's doing inside. That woman has a bad attitude, a real bad one for that matter. From killing the man with her nonsense odours internally, to slapping him in public. Many |
Richy4:Someone who's having poop and urine in his room? What is worse than that? If he could endure to have poop and urine in his room then he can endure anything. Besides, the slap is just an expression of his internal weakness. He used his mouth to publicize his wife's secret in public, his wife showed people his own weakness in secret by slapping him. |
wickedworld:My anger at UBA that day was because of that consistent nonsense attitude. Last month I went to pay into my domiciliary account only for them to say the money was too old, a 2004 dollar bill. Thank God a nairalander had same issue and sorted it out so I sent them the memo he showed them. This Monday was as a result of a tiny crack on two of my bills. They rejected it that they cant collect it because it is dollar and they dont print it herr. I had to return it to first bank and told them what they said. First bank changed them only for UBA to look for another thing to say about it. I just told tjem to close my account and give me all my money and that the next day I'd close my corporate and naira accounts with them. They started begging and acting like they were friends, telling me I was holding them to ransom for the fault of first bank. And that first bank branch self is also a case. They can give you torn money ehn, you will be surprised how they got it. |
ucheheart:As in ehn, I had my issue with them this past Monday. This same UBA, SMH. |
blackboy:They always claim CBN said this or that but they act differently sometimes when it comes to simple stuffs. |
Please mods help the this to front page to help others who may fall victim of broken bills from those haughty banks. You people should check well and reject it, tell them to change it to avoid stress. Lalasticlala Mynd44 |
Good evening nairalanders. I am not one who makes much topics or posts, but I'm really not happy with the way Nigerian banks operate. They act so haughty sometimes, I don't know if they are all competing for the throne. My last topic was about the date in one of my $50 bills that caused an issue at the bank and until they saw the downloaded memo from CBN (thumbs up to nairaland for creating the avenue for someone with similar issue to help with that), they were acting stubborn. Today it is the issue of a broken note. My anger was that I collected the money from first bank (Oginigba, PH) and went to UBA to pay the money into my domiciliary account. UBA rejected it because they saw a tiny little crack on one of the bills, they told me they won't collect it. The gentle me stopped the deposit because of one issue and went back to first bank only for them to be surprised about it. The staff used their FX machine to count it and it passed, she said, "you see, it passed, they are supposed to collect it". She reluctantly changed it to a better one that is almost squeezed with a tiny part broken again. I was in a hurry to pay in today that I didnt bother to check it, only for UBA to reject it again. I just said, I want to close my domiciliary account please. The customer care thought the money there was small only for her to check the account and started calling their Port Harcourt head office to discuss the issue. I told her not to bother that I want to close the account and withdraw all the cash inside. Before my very eyes, people who were acting like pharaohs started acting like allies. They said "from today you will be specially treated", but I told them to please close the account and that of my corporate and my individual accounts. We finally arrived at a conclusion, but I was already angry at them because of the last encounter. So my question is, why do Nigerian Banks act haughty? Which of them is the most haughty? |
Maguire had a red card, Ole gave him a high/low five. What is this coach teaching his players? |
chopnaira:Poor people get rich one day. I remember when some people insulted me years ago, said some funny things too, but was shocked a few years later. I am now the one analyzing stock buying and investment opportunities for her and her husband, even as a banker. Today, she's is my account officer on both my corporate and my individual (naira and domiciliary) accounts. You can insult yourselves, but you see that word "poor" that you've been using against that guy since I came into this thread today, it is a stage most people go through. You'd be shocked to see that with proper business plans and investment executions, he'll big up in no time. I need to also let some of you insulting people's financial status here know this, it is not about talking but acting. If we try to ask for an open account to see everyone's private life here, I don't think some of you will be able to show it. Please, lay low, wealthy people don't brag with their wealth, it is their wealth that speak for them. |
benalvino3:Well, it's past and gone. Peace. |
benalvino3:Isn't it funny that you rebuked me because I talked about you with someone (which I apologized) but you are doing the same now? The fact that you kept it in your heart for months and waited until you have an opening to throw insults, (after we've had some discussions on another topic) made me understand your kind of person. I won't say you pretend or you are this or that, it is not my responsibility to give names, after all only you people say the truths and also facts and you have the right to speak since you can confront everyone. Imagine you keeping it in mind instead of drawing the attention of the person to his error, that is something a man shouldn't do. Besides, I don't comment to gain likes or commendations from people, after all, I'm not here regularly like others, but when I do, I focus on topic and speak my mind. I can't join you people in your fights, never. |
basilico:Redeem myself, how again na? Where have you lied? I just said you were the most truthful person here bro, so no need to ask this. Or do you think otherwise? |
DissTroy:It is convenient to want things done from your perspective, but seeing things from other's perspective will make your first angle of convenience flawed. I say my thing from my own perspective and angle, I don't have time to be attacking those who support the GOP or those who support the Democrats for their personal opinion. Like my last few comments before today, I focus on the talking points and stay on track wit the topic in view. I comment based on what I see, irrespective of how people will see it, sometimes, even against the Democrats and Biden. When I saw the Virginia election result, I made my comment based on my observation and left. I have better things to do with my time than to engage in an online war with people. |
basilico:Na wa o. Emotional or running away with lies keh? Me that says my thing here whenever I'm chanced is running away with lies or being emotional? You must be the most truthful person here chief, because I just checked your comments and they are filled with facts, a lot of them lol. Peace... |
WispyEthereal:How do you expect the people to vote in a liberal democrat when the DNC gave their candidacy to a corporate one or is it the people that presented the corporate candidates to the party? Same thing with the GOP. How do you expect the people to focus on a liberal Republican when the party gave them a core one? The answer is simple. The people saw two negatives, they simply voted the ones who connected more with them than those who connected more with corporations. It is about interest here. You will also vote for someone who talked more about your personal issues than voting for another who seem to be speaking for a group. Also, Biden has not done anything to sway voters to see the democrats as a better option either. His falling rating is showing how people feel about the party and the administration. Next year will be extremely tough for the democrats. They will lose the house and senate if Biden doesn't get to work. This is my prediction for the mid term. |
Biden's inability to solve some economic issues affecting the common man and his inability to get through with some of his campaign promises will continue to haunt and hunt the Democratic party in any election. 2022 according to history does not favour the Dems, Biden is making it easier for the Republicans to have a sweet outing next year. This has nothing to do with low intelligence among voters, it is common sense. People are voting based on what they are observing. His (Biden) continuous falling rating is also a pointer to how electorates are voting. You don't preside over an economy that is having inflation and other issues and yet expect the people to vote for you. Not when they are not seeing any new policy to suggest any improvement sooner. The reason for the wider margin between Trump and Biden in some of these states last year is due to the fact that most people are angry with how Trump handled the covid situation, if not, he would have won. It is safe to say that people voted against Trump out of anger instead of their likes for Biden. |
TheDevilIsALai:What? This was a real time opening o. Chai, well, I will ignore for now and focus more on others. I can't spend $140 on a stock that feels a little pushed at the moment. I go dy observe the market first. |
SpecialAdviser:Download bamboo app. You can trade stocks and buy shades from here. There are others but I am using bamboo. |
descarado:Smart idea, but be careful because everyone is trying to take this same route. It might have gotten to the peak before you launch in, people will smile to the bank but late comers will cry las las. |
Numerouno94:I told my friend 3 years ago that if Wilder cannot knock out Fury, he should be ready to lose because there is no boxer in that division that can out punch him as well speak. Fury will jab you more times than you can punch him. Someone who will jab you one and clean his face with his left hand and drag his short with his right hand, then repeat same again and again all through. The guy has stamina for the game. |
Numerouno94:"If he (Wilder) had known...". This is the summary of the numerous noises in his head as we speak. 3 straight beatings...SMH In like 28 rounds of fighting, he won less than 6 rounds in total, losing like 22plus and being knocked out twice. One of the fans knew Wilder was cold even before he was knocked out. The fan was shouting "he's out" for like 20 seconds before Fury completed the demolition. The left hook by Fury entered wella and the talker melted like ice in seconds. Pheeew. |
Blaksheep:This is where tactics come in. Wilder has never been known to be a tactical boxer. |
Blaksheep:Your statement underrates Fury. He is technically gifted, he knows how to dodge punches and he is the master of jabs. How you expect Wilder to win Fury without knocking him out is still a mystery to me. None of the heavyweight boxers as at today can out punch Fury, none! He's fast with his jabs and very skillful in his dodges. Wilder knows that his only hope of winning Fury is by knocking him out, that's why he was always throwing power punches and hooks when there were opening for jabs. Besides, Fury knows how to create an opening for a jab so he can get you closer for his own fast jabs. The only person who has given Fury a run for his money on technical ability has been Klitschko, the others of today are fighting like women in an heavyweight division that was usually known for either power or skills. Try watch Fury's fights and you will see that he fights like the gypsy that he is. His father is also another bloody street fighter too, though he's not a boxer. |
Numerouno94:Abeg tell them. Wilder that used to arrange for weaker opponents, even dodging compulsory ones. At the beginning, he fell into Fury's trap by agreeing to fight him only because he(Wilder) thought Fury would be an easy one for him because it had been long he (Fury) fought, not knowing that he was signing up with his nemesis. Fury won the 3 times, he was robbed in the first one. Otis was even past his prime self when he fought with Wilder. Wilder has no skill, he only relies on his right hand for just one opening to take down his opponent. Now the bronze bomber has been bombed by the gypsy king himself. |
JavaScript90:What age? How old do you think Fury is? Don't look at his size o, he's 33. Wilder thought he had the weakest opponent 2years ago, not knowing that he met his nemesis lol. Beginning of the story. Fury hadn't fought for about 2 years, Wilder thought he'd be a workover, not knowing that he was signing up with someone who'd dethrone him and drag him in the mud. Their first fight was a clue to the mess Wilder was into. He was beaten, but the judges called it a draw because Fury went down twice. That's for someone who hadn't had fights in years o. I have said it again and again that anyone who fights with fury needs to find an opening to knock him down, if not he will win you hands down if the fights ends in the twelve rounds. First, because he will surely out punch you with jams and then technically corner you into confusion. Now Fury has added knocking people out to his list of skills. |
anonymous1759:Please don't go there, China that stopped talking about death at once. I ask you, is it possible for covid death to stop at once? You sited covid forgetting that China never contained it, they only control their media. Talking about VPN being hard to get through Chinese whatever is another fallacy. Some are using it to access outside and others outside are using it to get in too, but the reason most Chinese don't focus more on foreign social media sites is because they are afraid when they are caught, the punishment is grievous, and again, the court system is controlled by their government. Now answer me, do you think most of them will crack their heads and engage in a foreign social media forum that they have few Chinese on and don't you think they will be afraid of Chinese spies in the foreign system to report them? Forget about their locals who are friends, I have come across a few who will tell you only positive things about China (which is nice), thats how they are wired, but what they won't tell you is how they are being controlled by their government. I even have one of them in my contact list till today working with LNG. I won't say how we met because that's not the topic of discussion here. |
Damilolaxyz:Those people don't know that the Chinese are not as intelligent as they portray, the covid outbreak is an example. Imagine waiting for others to make a vaccine for them to do copy copy work, SMH. If it was America this outbreak started from, the vaccine would be out earlier and the disease would have been understood better by now. All china do is copy copy by stealing techs using spies, but the main US most dangerous weapons are not even close to been known or stolen by these people because the secrecy is out of sight. When war comes and the US unload their weapons, it will be another wakanda surprise. These socalled nairalanders just hype China and Russia because they like underdogs, nothing more. They think war is won by noise, no wonder they like dictators. |
