I just submitted my application to Vilniaus University. Fingers crossed and hoping for good news.

Any other potential 2022 applicants in the house? For past applicants pleased what was the timeline to hear back from the school.

Hi my passport expires next year September but I want to apply for admission now and renew it before I apply for the visa. Does this affect anything?

If you are a PhD student, you belong to cat A

If you graduated with a first class in your Bachelor’s degree within the last two years, you belong to CAT A

If you have a German or EU govt funded scholarship, then you belong to cat A.

Else you belong to cat B.

Please what if you graduated with two first class degrees 7 years (one from a European University and the other from an Asian University), what category would you fall under?

How long does it take PENCOM to grant permission for payment. My father's PFA told me that approval is in batches. How true is this?

Is this approval to pay? What's the name of the PFA? Ours took 4 days for payment approval.

I did on Friday and they confirmed that they did. Fingers crossed.

Verifications and forwarded to Pencom for approval. Fingers crossed that this one doesn't delay oooo...we don tire for the long process.

PENSION MANAGER INCOMPETENCE
I will like to report the incompetence of stanbic ibtc pension managers. I submitted an application of withdrawals of additional fund since 7 days ago, up till date, I haven't gotten an approval.
Furthermore, I know that it takes within 5 days for pencom to give approval. To this, I can say it's either stanbic is incompetence or they are delaying .

It has taken more than 7 working days since they have sent it to pencom for approval.
I went there twice and they were claiming that they only saw my mail. I messaged and copied pencom, if u see the way they replied with speed. It was surprising .
They now apologized and said its pencom approval that's delaying them

But someone on this page said it took them 4 days for Pencom to approve. Which means that Stanbic did not send the approval on time to Pencom and probably only sent it after your email.

They've sorted the LOA, remaining the death certificate.

You guys should hold your PFAs very well o, cos even me that I'm batch 97 we've been paid everything. Contributory 2 weeks ago and accrued this week.

Don't know why other PFAs are so slow

Please how long did pencom's approval take after the PFA submitted to them to pay you?

Okay. Please during reconciliation, did they deduct from your dad's RSA balance? I just checked mine now and I noticed a deduction narrated as: FGN CONTR REFUND. I think reconciliation has commenced on our RSA

Not really sure they did because the balance increased instead of reducing.

Yes, we've been paid group life before because he died in service. That one was paid by the insurance company.

It was the accrual that was paid now because our late dad worked with the federal government before 2004.

No that was reconciliation that was done by PENCOM.

I just checked again. Yes they've paid! Batch 90 too!!!!

As u can see in the last paragraph, accrued right can be paid for a retired dead employee. Group life is for those that haven't retired ,who died in service

You're confusing it. Accrued rights are the benefits meant for every federal government employee who joined the service before 2004 when the Pension act came into existence. This information was from the PFA and PENCOM as well.

What am seeing is either group life or db , don't expect both

So if the beneficiaries have received group life there won't be death benefits? That wasn't what the PFA told us

Latest knowledge- DB might also come in form of a refund to PenCom fr Contributions...not necessarily mean remittance fr them.

on a norms,all docs submitted should have been fully verified before forwarding ur application to PenCom not to talk of placing u on batch.
