Hello House, I currently use the Redmi Note 8 pro and I'm looking to upgrade. I love the Note 9 pro (but it doesn't have an amoled display)
The Mi Note 10 lite is looking good. I'll have gone for it but the lack of sd card is a negative. Can you recommend a Xiaomi phone within the price range of Note 10 lite but has an sd card and amoled display. |

ceaser: I think the charging circuit/board might have been affected by the surge from the generator, more so since the rest of the inverter works fine.
The board may no longer output adequate charging voltage to the batteries. Your batteries may have therefore been exposed to suboptimal charging for sometime now probably explaining the gradual reduction in backup time.
I assume you are not on solar. So you may need to get a standalone AC charger to charge the batteries pending the time you can have your inverter checked out and this needs to be done before the battery reaches point of no return, if they are still salvageable. The standalone chargers only need to be plugged on the battery terminals along with the inverter wires. Thank you for this. |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by livewithpurpose: 12:50pm On Apr 22, 2020 |
ceaser: Does the inverter still charge normally after the incident?
It may be that the charging circuit is affected and does not charge your batteries to full capacity again which may explain the short backup from 12hrs to 4hrs.
Also was the change in back up time almost immediate following the spark in the inverter or was it a gradual thingy? The latter may suggest that the battery is either naturally approaching EOL or the poor charging from a bad inverter charging circuit may have had some not too good effects ok the batteries. Yes it was almost immediate drop to about 6 hours but it's now 4 hours. |

Please house I need your help. I got a 1.5kva genius inverter last year August with a Luminous Battery 200AH/12V. I got it from Simba Den. My problem is I had a mini gen before and mistakenly put it on without removing the inverter. This caused a little spark in my inverter like something burnt. Ever since then my inverter that would last for more than12hours doesn't last past 4 hours.
I'm looking to replace the inverter this month because I feel the battery is still top notch. Any recommendations please? A good durable brand. |

mctfopt: My friends owns a luminous, it's a good inverter. Inverter is now 6 years old with zero issues. I'll recommend you repair it, if the problem is the inverter, as it may just be that your battery is now weak.
But if you really want to replace it, you can check Microtek, Sukam, Genius, etc are also good inverters in the price range of the Luminous brand. It's not my battery that is the issue but the inverter. It's a genius inverter and I mistakenly charged it with a small gen which caused something to burn inside it. So I'm looking for a replacement inverter while I take it for repairs. |

yetunsbay: I'm talking fr experience I'm speaking from experience as well. My family has been paid his Group Life Insurance and it took us only 4 months to get everything. The only thing pending now is the Pension and this is because of the Accrued Rights that has to be paid first by the Federal Government before we can have access to the account. |

Thefarmer3: Unfortunately I don't, what I heard is that the "Head of service" of the federation is in charge. I submitted all the documents required for his group life to the pension department of his workplace and they forwarded to Abuja.
Please how did you get the broker? The Pension Officer in his office told me the broker in charge. |

yetunsbay: Are people really aware that group life insurance benefits will be paid into RSA of the deceased.
No one can knw when such funds is remitted except u monitor the RSA online (NOK) This is not true. Group Life Insurance is different from Pension. The law was amended last year if I'm not mistaken. My father's Group Life Money was paid into our family account by four different insurance companies this year. I started the process in May and by August the last insurance company had paid. |

Thefarmer3: Hello, please I need your help. I lost my dad in September 2018, he worked with FG too(University of ibadan). We've submitted all necessary documents for his group life insurance and death benefits but we've not gotten anything. Please how did you apply for the group life insurance? After getting all the documents from his office, I submitted it to the broker in charge of following up with the insurance companies. I got the name of the insurers listed on the policy from the broker and personally followed up with each of them. If you wait for the broker to do all the groundwork, you might not be getting paid anytime soon. Do you know the insurance companies listed? |

Hmmm....Group life insurance shouldn't take too long.
My late dad worked with the Federal Government and died in 2017. I applied for the group life insurance in May and got everything paid in August (PENCOM is the only one delaying and that's because of Accrued rights, but I already know his batch). I didn't use anyone or have to pay anyone a dime. Ask your questions here and I'll be happy to assist. |

Good Morning Guys.
Please I need some insights into applying for a Masters Degree in Estonia. I have two first class degrees from a university in Ukraine and the second one from a university in Singapore. What are my chances of getting a scholarship at the University of Tallinn. Also, I might be getting a job offer next week from an Estonian company (I passed two stages of interviews) and if I get the job, I'm expected to resume in January (Its a tech company and they said if they give me an offer, they'll assist with visa processing) But I'll still like to know if anyone has left from Nigeria with a work visa and what was the process like. |
