I remember a scene that happened years ago, I was so sad I wasn’t around to witness that scene but nevertheless I will communicate it to you as I was told.

It was holiday and as usual relatives came visiting, this time around my dad decided to make it fun as he took the whole family out to a nearby amusement park.

It was suppose to be an awesome day as we were told that we will spend the whole day there.

Gist giver: As I was saying, na so we com decide to move forward, oh the song playing in my spirit was Joy overflow in my heart, sing a new song to the lord

Me: what happened now

Gist giver: hmmm so as we tried to move forward to the next section na so our nephew com start this gigantic cry ooo.

Bross kilode lets move to the next section of the amusement park , na so he increase volume.
That boy just spoilt that day for us faa, he didn’t know that where we were was just the beginning of awesomeness because of him everyone could not go elsewhere

Me: (laughs Hard) oh my that was a forceful stagnation

Gist Giver: why are you laughing, it’s everything that is spiritual to you, which one is forceful Stagnation again.

Me: Oh what a pain, how I wish I was there. I will not even settle for less. Mtcheew( I hissed) I will now stay in one place because of one two year old nephew.
It’s only if the holy spirit is saying I should stay ooo, if not I will forcefully carry him to the next section

Yes Gods direction we feel it’s God that has done this so we don’t see a need to move forward.
Nobody like to leave a comfort zone. But God sees greater things ahead and as he tries to carry us along to that greater place we refuse to move just like our nephew and we fill his ears with different things like God don’t allow me lose this my Job, God I want this university not another one, Lord leave me here am happy where I am, Lord if you give me one child now I won’t disturb u for life, why is my finances like this lord I was better off before what is happening…. Etc.

Gist Partner: Ehnn Ehnn now don’t we have the right to tell God our feelings again ni.

Me: Of course we do and so does our nephew, so you have no right to blame him for how that day ended.

That’s why I said we are not different from that 2year old boy. Sometimes we think we are right when we speak to God just the way our nephew felt it was right to cry out when you want to deprive him from getting and enjoying what he wants at the moment.

If only our nephew saw the other ride maybe he wouldn’t have cried you know, same thing with us if only we see what God is seeing in the future we won’t cry or complain like children.

If he opens our eyes to see where our current situation of life will lead us to. We will only Give him thanks.

Gist Partner: To us it’s as if he is punishing us but it’s a blessing in disguise.

Me: Yes sometimes God forcefully drags us from a particular season of life to another not because we have offended him but because he loves us and he wants us to move forward everyday of our lives.

Gist Partner : hmmm that is If we don’t take a new step we will remain in our old step.
So some forces must act on us for us to move.

Me: hmm that’s the scientist ooo

Gist partner : Laughs Yes now if we don’t move ourselves something will move us and it’s either backward or forward. God moves us forward but we ourselves are the cause of our backwardness in life. If God is trying his best to move us forward and we choose to remain in our old position the devil will take that great opportunity to move us backward.

But the truth still remains that our decisions does not only affect us, it affects what God wants to do through us and in us.

It affects lives God wants to touch and change through us. Just that one step can can affect a lot of things positively or negatively.

See note this if you don’t take a bold step of faith today and follow Gods direction, if you allow God to move you himself you will cry ooo because you didn’t agree in the first place and you feel your forced aginst your will and you don’t know what the destination will look like but when you get there your laughter will have no limit. You will forget the tears you once shed

Gist Partner: That’s why it’s good to always pray for God to open the eyes of our understanding so that we will know the purpose of each seasons of life that we encounter.
When the purpose of a thing is unknown abuse is inevitable.

Me: Hmmm my people perish because of lack of knowledge

Gist Partner: And understanding as well my dear, Am really guilty of all that has been said I pray God helps me, he is free to move me himself even when am refusing him, please move me yourself lord. I prefer that.

Me : Just like me, God is moving me himself, I was first distressed and all but when God showed me where he was taking me to, the Joy of the lord became my Strength and even in my present situation I can’t do anything but Glorify his name for what he has done, what he is doing and what he will continue to accomplish through me.

Gist Partner: They are all lessons of life my dear, to prepare us for the future and make us stronger to behold his Glory.

Me: Thanks for reading till this point, the difference between your obedience and God Sovereign act to make you obey is that, your obedience gives you a peace that passes all understanding.

you will never complain because you know where you are going and who is leading you while God Sovereign act to make you obey will give you so much discomfort and that discomfort is not coming from God.

Its caused by you because you don’t know your destination and you doubt the person leading you i.e your faith is absent, absence of trust.

I don’t know where you belong here but all I have to say is 2Cor.4.15 - All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

Doctor: (He called samson on the phone) Hello is that Mr. Samson, you need to come to the hospital immediately, there is an emergency and make sure you come with a hundred thousand naira.

Samson: A hundred thousand naira? ok doctor, i will be right there, (he cuts the phone, Talking to himself) Where will i get a hundred thousand naira, grandma hasn't sent any money to me, i cant even call grandma right now she may not be with that kind of money presently, what should i do now, what's the emergency, i pray Angela is okay, let me call jumoke maybe she may be of help (He calls her) why is she not picking her phone, my God what is happening, am short of cash, i spent a lot of money for my birthday.(He keeps thinking) Okay i know what to do, i will just withdraw 40K from my account, at least the doctor would start something with that, i think that's what i will do (He rushed to the hospital)

(On Sunday morning, Samson rushed back to the hospital to see Angela, he had slept in the hospital the day before, so after going home to freshen up he rushed back to the hospital, he met jumoke sitting in the reception of the hospital which made him more annoyed)

Jumoke: Samson (She moves close to him) I know you are angry but please talk to me, am very sorry about yesterday

Samson: (He sighed and left her without uttering a word)

Jumoke(following him) Am really sorry Samson, this your silence is killing me, please you can hit me if you want ,punish me, I know everything that happened is my fault, please talk to me don't be silent.

Samson: Hmmmm (He pushed her away and walked past her)

Jumoke: Samson please now, okay hit me , hit me, I don't like how you are silent, please hit me (She picked his hand and used it to hit her face)

Samson: Leave me alone Jumoke (He shouted looking very angry) Everything that happened Is all your fault, your friend is still in there fighting for her life, instead of you to be busy praying, you are here begging me as if that is the solution to what happened, I don't blame you at all, I blame myself for allowing you people to celebrate my birthday, do you even know the gratitude of what you did, you have made my birthday the worse day of my life, the day my two friends almost killed themselves over me, and what if Angela dies, my birthday will be a day of mourning instead of happiness to people, so don't just come close to me, I really can't stand you, you made my birthday a success and you ruined it yourself, so please am begging you stay away from me and also stay away from this hospital, you have ruined my birthday don't ruin my life also please ( He moved away from her)

Jumoke: But Samson I didn't do it intentionally,I have been praying since last night and I know angela will be fine, what did the doctor say

Samson: Sorry won't solve anything and for your information the doctor hasn't said anything either so it will be better if you continue praying because if something bad happens to her, you will have yourself to blame, and I don't even want to see you around here until Angela gets well, so it will be better if you leave orelse.(He left to sit in Angela's ward)

Nurse: You this girl are you mad or what, now am in trouble, the doctor will ask what I was doing when this happened

Angela: No I won't allow you to do that (She threw the glass jug on the nurse head, jumoke was still crying on the floor,the nurse fainted immediately the glass jug hit her head, angela started feeling dizzy since she stressed herself too much so she fell from the bed and was immediately unconscious)

Doctor: (When he came to check on angela, he was shocked to see three prople on the floor) What is nurse bisi doing on the floor,nurse bisi,nurse bisi,oh my God what happened here I thought I told this nurse not to allow anyone into this room because the patient is highly sensitive

Nurse bisoye: Sir what happened here

Doctor: Just call the other nurses here, take the two of them to the ward, and make sure you take care of the third patient who stays in this room

Samson: Your friend is really a good dancer isn't she

Jumoke : Yes of course my friend is a good dancer, she really enjoys dancing its just like her hobby (not noticing its Samson, she stares at the stage)

(It was time for the evening fellowship, Christians all over the campus came for their evening prayers as usual, every Wednesday, the students were deeply in worship, Angela and her friends were there for the first time)

Mojola : Wow, C&S fellowship is really growing, I cant imagine that there will be lots of students here on Wednesday

Angela : Yeah, every church has to improve, especially this C&S church people really think low of them, but the thing is that fake prophets are the ones who made people see this church as a bad church,but if you shine your eyes and go to the right C&S (cherubuim & Seraphim) church you will really enjoy your stay in their church,they are so good spiritually and they have branches oversea also.

Mojola : Really that's good, most of this Pentecostal church doesn't even have a branch oversea, Yet they have the mouth to condemn other churches that are growing every day,instead of them to think of a way to grow,they are busy destroying things with their mouth.

Angela : (Laughing) Ah mojola, you wont kill me ooo

Mojola : What, its true now even the bible says we should remove the log in our eyes before removing stones in other peoples eyes, I so much hate Hippocrates, I don't even believe in selecting churches I can go to, what I believe is that anywhere the name of God is called and worshiped,I can go there as long as I can fell the spirit of God in the place, I can worship there, even pastor Adeboye knows that C&S is a good place to worship, He has even been there before to greet the elders in the altar.

Angela: Hmmm, how come you know this much,are you a C&S member

Mojola : No now, you know I attend redeem, I heard it from my brother and again am even sure of one, the founder of redeem itself came from C&S, He was called by God to establish a new church, if C&S was that bad the founder of redeem wont have been good spiritually or have been called by God to establish his own church

Mojola : This is wickedness, basirat I thought you said you don't have palm oil, what is this that your friend is holding ( mojola shouts in anger not knowing Samson and angela were at her back)

Basirat : Thank God you said it yourself, she is my friend and that's her palm oil, I don't have any palm oil but my friend has excess with her, ask her if she will give you, that's not my business

Mojola : Alright, sister please borrow us your palm oil, my friend really needs it

Jumoke : Palm oil you say, by the way my name is jumoke so don't sister me at all

Mojola : Yes palm oil, I wonder why you are with palm oil but never mind just give me

(After the long holiday the student gained admission into the university some where lucky to be in the same university, jumoke,Samson and angela also gained admission into the same university they were just that lucky but to my surprise Jumoke never saw her longtime friends since she got admitted neither have any of them seen jumoke, Samson and angela got in touch with eachother but they didn't even know what university jumoke got into since she travelled abroad for her holiday, it was really shocking when they met in the super market, they were all in their third year)

Jumoke : Samson (She shouted excitedly as she ran to meet him) My God where have you been, I called you but your phone was always switched off I even texted you I got no reply what happened

Samson He hugs her) Jumoke you are now more beautiful but a little slim I lost my phone I couldn't get your number I also wanted to speak to you

Jumoke : I really missed you, why didn't you retrieve your sim

Samson : Well I did but It took some time maybe that was why I didn't receive your message, I also tried to get your number I wanted to know if you are studying abroad or here

Jumoke : Study abroad I don't like that idea at all my dad wanted me to study abroad but I never wanted to

Samson : Really, Nigerian people and their rumours I heard you were studying abroad, the teachers said your dad told them and since you went there for your holiday we were just so happy for you

Jumoke : Yeah the teachers were right about what my dad told them but you know I really wanted to be here in Nigeria even though am still going abroad for  my masters.

Jumoke : I study pharmacy at unilag it's a nice place but before my dad allowed that I had to promise him to go abroad for my  masters ,you know I have to get more knowledge over there,and the funniest part is that i can change my mind anytime.

Samson : That's good am also a student of unilag its just too bad not to meet in the campus, no wonder you really losed weight

Jumoke : Well you know pharmacy students Now, I really losed weight but you know its an evidence of studying

Samson : Firstly she kept such a big secret from me which can lead to death if I had married her without knowing, secondly my tradition forbids her I don't even care if she is barren because there is nothing my God cannot do but for the fact that she made me waste my life by ignoring other girls and lifting the hope in me that I just have to marry her after settling down don't you even know that feeling of relying on something and the thing doesn't work out the way you want
