We are shaped by the decisions and choices we made in life. condemning this present generations for all the vices in the society is not entirely their faults, you made the foundations so rusty, you made the society unlawful, every thing we are experiencing today was as a result your lackadaisical and myopic non progressive reasoning.


This was not how the white left the country, things were pretty good, the first generation( Zik and Awos generation) handed over saner and better country, but what has your generation done to better the country and what are you handing over to us?? of course you were busy with your coup and counter coup, corruption cases here and there, killing those who have conflicting views from yours etc( Abachi and his like, may history never forgets the injustice melted by your generation sir...). The population as at then was minimal, the economy was better, favorable law to support growing businesses, little or no taxes,scholarships right, left and center. your generation had everything your ever wanted. I always tell my Dad, there was no reason not to have made it in life during their time ( i wasn't entirely correct ofcourse, because life happen to people)

when discussion politics,social vices and changes that has transpired over time, faults can not be entirety placed on these generation when we all know that life is transitional and in phases.

Your generation created the laws that govern this present generation and you blame us for the vices when your laws are there to oppose such vices..

as for this present generation that use the guise of unemployment, insecurity, poor infrastructure, bad government and all to engage in criminal activities, crime does not pay and the law will catch up with you soon.

Yorubas naturally from start are Farmers.

And from my observations, Southwest is still the only region that you're yet to over ride in business on her soil.

While the north is the only region that over ride SW in Farming business (in some aspect)

electronics - It's ratio 60-40 in favour of Yorubas (Igbos are only visible on the road side)

ICT - Out of 4, Igbos control 1(Chilinks)

Clothes / Shoes - ratio 70 - 30 in favor of Igbos

building materials - 50 - 50 or 53 - 47 in favor of Igbos

aluminum - Igbos are none in this aspect.

Agro - Igbos are also None or 1 self.

phones - 60 - 40 in favor of Igbos

Igbos are only visible on the main road.

the point am trying to drive home is this, how many yurobas could come to the east and compete with the Igbos on the above mentioned enterprise? the Yoruba don't travel, atlest not to the east. Believe me you, the east is the most peaceful place in Nigeria. Travel and see

OP firstly some of your assumptions are wrong in Southwest.

it may Applied to other regions.
Both Igbos and Yorubas are engaged in spare parts, ICT gadgets, electronics, phones, building materials, aluminum, clothes, phones, shoes, book shops, drugs, pharmacist, etc

So your percentages are wrong in SW, because I can confidently say Yorubas outnumbered Igbos in selling of those materials in SW only.

You used the South West as a yard stick for comparison but you fail to understand that the land in the west belongs to the yurobas and it is expected that you should control all economic activities, but according to your comment, one can deduce that you placed the Igbos at 50% while the Yoruba and other tribes control the remaining 50% ain't that success already??

Its either you are not familiar with Enugu state politics or you just wanted Ekweremadu to be governor. Sullivan was the governor before this present governor and he is from the same side as Ekweremadu. Power can't go back to them after 8 years while there are others waiting for 16years.

the present Deputy is also from the same side as him... The best they could get is speaker come 2023.
