In reality a person that earn a minimum wage is too poor to live in a house of above £1000per month, so he stays in a house of £300 per month or even lesser in a shared apartment. Only those that earn around £100 or above per hour will be able to afford a house of £1000per month.

From your assumption, someone that earn #30,000 minimum wage in Nigeria can avoid an average rent of 400,000 in Nigeria. It's makes me to wonder if you also benefited from free education.
