DaddyJapan:Can a person in Nigeria that earns #30,000 afford a house rent of #500,000? If No, why do you feel a person that earns £10 per hour should pay above £1000 for rent. 11 Likes |

psalmsjob:How do people like you reason? Do you know what a minimum wage is? It means it the least a person would earn in the UK which also means people can also earn higher... Now an average house rent in London is above £1000 per month. In reality a person that earn a minimum wage is too poor to live in a house of above £1000per month, so he stays in a house of £300 per month or even lesser in a shared apartment. Only those that earn around £100 or above per hour will be able to afford a house of £1000per month. From your assumption, someone that earn #30,000 minimum wage in Nigeria can avoid an average rent of 400,000 in Nigeria. It's makes me to wonder if you also benefited from free education. And no body eat a food worth £10 in a day. 16 Likes 1 Share

The continuous attack on the Bini people and it's Oba by the Yuroba people has not gone unnoticed over an issue that is argue-ably an historical fact that could be debated. The throne of the Oba has been desecrated, his linage insulted and his people called prostitutes. At this trying times, the people of Southeast and South-South stands with the people of Bini. 5 Likes |

Hez143:What do you mean by the federal government does not knows all? Are you Ok at all? Was Fashola not the minister of works during Buhari or is Ameachi not the Transport minister? Are you saying they are not aware of how dilapidated the road is? Do you know that that road is the major link between most state in South East - South South Nigeria, what has Senators and Rep get to do with a project under the exclusive list? Is the road too small for the government to see?... Try dey stay one place.. in one post you have talk about how the southwest bring investors, how governors work from home, duties of Senators and Rep members, do Senators need to sponsor a bill before the government fix its own road ? Do you know what a bill is? all those things you have said are irrelevant to the topic but you had to find a way to bring them in... Is it the duties of the Senators or Rep members to point out bad roads? Sometimes I just wonder how most of you reason.. are you also a beneficiary of the Awo free education? 3 Likes |

Just like a Knight with the possiblity of multiple moves in Chess, Wike is working for the APC government but still very active in PDP. He could either spy for APC or PDP .. Due to his influence in PDP, the crisis might continue if Atiku still comes out in 2027. Will Wike's presidential bid in 2027 fly in PDP while Atiku is still in the party? |
Romance / Research Shows Short People Lives Longer And Have A Lower Rates Of Cancer. by Localemperor: 2:04pm On Nov 18, 2023 |
As you grow up, being short in stature often comes with some negatives, but it turns out, as you age, there are actually advantages to being on the shorter side. In fact, research shows there are some surprising health benefits of being short. In a January 2023 column published in the New York Times, author Mara Altman relayed some of the research that shows correlations between shorter people and better health outcomes, such as greater longevity and lower rates of cancer. On average, short people live longer and have a lower incidence of cancer. One theory suggests this is the case because with fewer cells, there is less likelihood that one goes wrong. I’d take that over dunking a basketball any day. The short are also inherent conservationists, which is more crucial than ever in this world of eight billion people. Thomas Samaras, who has been studying height for 40 years and is known in small circles as the Godfather of Shrink Think, a widely unknown philosophy that considers small superior, calculated that if we kept our proportions the same but were just 10 percent shorter in America alone, we would save 87 million tons of food per year (not to mention trillions of gallons of water, quadrillions of B.T.U.s of energy and millions of tons of trash). https://draxe.com/health/health-benefits-of-being-short/#:~:text=In%20fact%2C%20research%20shows%20there,and%20lower%20rates%20of%20cancer. |
